Thank you for your lovely response. I am really sorry for the late update. I was actually trying to add in a Kaira scene. Finally was able to do a very insy winsy part at the end.

The doctor had come, did Naira's check up and announced everything to be perfectly alright, then only Karthik was fully relaxed. All the family members asked Naira to take some rest as it was a very hectic day.

Karthik left his and Naira's room after he saw his wife fall asleep, he was passing by Akshara Naitik's room, when he heard Gayu and Akshara's conversation.

"Mami kya hua aap andar hi andar muskura rahi hai", asked Gayu

"Aaj mein bahut khush hun, aaj dus saalon ke baad meri beti ne mujhe hug kiya. Haan shayad anjane mein hi sahi, lekin jab woh mujhe galle laga kar karthik ki shikiyat kar rahi thi, mujhe 10 saal phele wale din yaad agaye jab woh mujhe ya naitik ko hug karti aur Naksh ki complaint karti.", said Akshara

"Naira, mujh se ghussa thi issi liye aaj maa ke qareeb gayi. Kya meri aur Naira ki duriyan, Naira aur uss ki family ke beech ki nazdikiyon ki wajhe ban sakti hai.", wondered Karthik as he walked ahead.

"Karthik", a voice called, Karthik came out of his thoughts as he felt someone shaking him, he looked to see Annanya standing there.

"What happened, where were you lost, I was calling out to you from so long", she asked.

"Kuch nahi di", lied Karthik

"When I came you were saying something like, tum ne Naira ko purri tarhe se wapis nahi diya, uss ka kya matlab tha Karthik.", asked Ananya and Karthik told her all about Naira's misunderstandings.

"Mujhe bua aur phupaji ke liye bahut burra lag raha hai, woh Naira se bahut zyada pyaar karte hai, woh Naira ke iss behaviour se bahut hurt ho rahe honge.", said Ananya sadly.

"Sirf woh dono nahi, Naira bhi andar se khush nahi hai, main janta hun usse, woh bahar yeh dikhane ki koshish karti hai ke woh nafrat karti hai magar aisa nahi hai. ek baar papa ko ek pin thoda sa chuba, uss ne concern nahi dikhiya lekin main ne uss ki ankhon mein dard dekha tha.", spoke Karthik

"Humein aisa kuch toh karna hoga jiss se Naira melt ho, uski misunderstandings khatam ho jaye", Ananya told Karthik

"Phir se kahan kho gaye, tum kiss barien mein soch rahe ho, sacch sacch batao. Yeh mat kehna kuch nahi hai, I know there is something", she asked looking at her BIL's lost expressions.

"Naira mere close hai aur mere yahan rehte woh sab ke close nahi jayegi, if I need to lessen her distance with everyone else in the family. I will need to go away from her. But I can't just leave, the only reason Naira is staying here is because I said I want to be with her through out the pregnancy. Agar mein koyi bahana bana kar chala bhi jaon, then she is going to insist on coming with me. The only way I can assure that we both stay apart is agar mein usse jhagda karun, sirf physically nahi, mentally bhi khud ko usse dur kard dun, phir hi woh ma.......", Karthik was cut off by Ananya.

"Phir kuch nahi, this is a terrible idea Karthik. Mujhe yahan aye 2 ghante bhi nahi huye but I can feel how strong yours and Naira's bond is. Tell me a thing do you think if you fake a fight, Naira won't realize you are acting. You both have been together for 10 years now, that is a lot of time, meri aur ranveer ki shaadi ko bhi das saal hogaye hai and I know him very well, woh kab ghusse hai, pareshan hai, unka mood kaisa hai, mujhe pata hota hai, without him telling anything and am sure Naira ke liye bhi same hoga. Now if Naira ko lagga ke just to bring her close to the family tum uss se dur ja rahe ho, woh family se nafrat karne lagge gi", tells Ananya KArthik thinks about it, he remembers him making excuses of work so that Naira spends time with family and how Naira got mad at him.

"Phir aisa kya kare, that everything gets sorted, we only have four months left.", said Karthik tensed.

"I guess sab ko mil kar yeh discuss karna chaiye, kissi ek ke pass toh idea milega", spoke Ananya

Soon everyone except Naira and Anamika were gathered in the hall.

"Tum dono ne message karke hall mein kyun buliya", asked naman

"yeh puchne ke liye ke aap logon ke pass koyi idea hai", said Ananya

"Ananya di, ideas toh mere pass bahut sarre hai, lekin aap batiya aap ko kiss liye idea chaiye", asked Mishti

"Apki taiji aur Naira di ki beech ki duriyan mitane ke liye chaiye. Hum sab ke pass sirf 4 mahine hai, Naira ki galatfemiyon ko mitane ke liye, after 4 months I will not be able to hold Naira back", spoke Karthik

everyone started thinking that what could be done.

"muma papa aap dono mein se zyada achi acting kaun karta hai", asked Karthik after a while.

"Tum ab yeh sawal kyun phuch rahe ho Karthik", asked Naksh confused

"We all know Naira is angry only, she doesn't hate anyone, so why don't we do something which she is forced to show her concern. like mumma ya papa fever hone ka natak kare.", suggested Karthik

"I guess this could work", spoke Karishma

"Magar aisa karna Naira ko dhoka dena jaisa nahi hoga kya", asked Akshara.

"Nahi bahu hum jo kar rahe hai, akhir mein Naira ko bhi khushi milegi uss se", said bhabhima

"haan taiji, hum kuch burra nahi kar rahe hai. Dekho jab hum kissi ko surprise dena chate ho un se jhut bol lete hai, this is also like that.", said Mishti

Akshara nodded positively but still was not 100% convinced.

"Naira papa ki princess hai, agar unki tabiyat kharab hogi toh Naira apne aap ko control nahi kar payegi. Mujhe lagta hai papa ko hi natak karna chaiye", stated Naksh and everyone except Akshara agreed willingly.

Kaira's room

Karthik walked into the room and sat beside his sleeping angel, he caressed her hair and she turned her face and slowly opened her eyes to look at him. Naira smiled at her husband and got up slightly so that she was now sitting on the leaning onto her love, snuggling to him.

"what's wrong Karthik, tum pareshan dikh rahe ho", asked Naira

"kuch nahi", replied Karthik

"Apni sherni, apni Veeru se jhut bolege ab tum", she asked making a puppy face

"Naira am sorry ke mein tum se jhut kehne wala hun, lekin woh sirf tumhari khushi ke liye.", Karthik apologized in his heart as he held Naira more closer to him.

"Kuch nahi, bas papa ko tezz bhukar hai", Karthik lied and Naira had the urge to just run to her father.

"sirf bhukar hua hai, woh shyam tak purri tarhe se thik ho jayenge, purra ghar hai unka khyal rakhne ke liye.", Naira said trying to sound uncaring, but Karthik noticed her playing with his fingers, something she always did when she had something in her heart but wasn't able to express it to him.

"haan shayad baad mein thik ho jayega. Lekin ab mujhe unki halat dekh kar bahut burra lag raha hai. You know he was shivering so badly because of the fever. Yahan tak ke bhukar ki wajhe se chakkar kha kar gir bhi gaye. Tumhe yaad hai jab Akash (a small boy of the orphanage) to bhukar hua toh uski halat kitni kahrab hogayi", spoke Karthik

"Mujhe Naksh se kuch kaam hai toh mein jata hun", he said getting off the bed, not forgetting to place a soft kiss on her hair and then exited the room, knowing that she wouldn't show his emotions infront of him.

"Mere papa ki tabiyat kahrab hai, woh taqleef mein hai", he heard her say to herself as he stood out of the room, where he was not visible to her.

"Mujhe unn ke pass janna ho ga", she thought to herself getting off the bed.

"Lekin wahan sab honge aur woh aurat bhi, tum unn ke samne melt nahi ho sakti", her mind reminded.

"Apni narazgi ko chodo baath tumhare papa ki hai, unhe tumhari zarrorat hai", he heart told her.

"Bhul gayi kiss tarhe tumhare papa ne tumhe dhoka diya, tumhare khilaf ja kar uss insan ko yeh batiya ke tum kaha ho, aur saath mein police bhi laye jab tum ne toh unse request ki thi ke woh ek dum akele aye", her mind spoke

Karthik was peeking through the opened part of the door as it wasn't shut tightly, he noticed her expressions, he realized both her pain and dilema.

"I am so so so sorry Naira, tumhe yeh sab sehna pad raha hai, am sorry for hurting you like this, please mujhe maaf kardo", he softly spoke to himself.
