"Varsha tu itni der se darwaze ki taraf kyun dekh rahi hai", asked Akshara

"Koyi aur bhi anne wala hai kya", asked bhabhima

"Woh...", Varsha was about to reply

"Surprise", yelled a voice from behind.

"Annanya/Annanya di", said everyone except Goenkas turning towards the door.

"Annanya beta tum ne batiya nahi ke tum arahi ho", said Shaurya as he side hugged his daughter

"Mein ne maa ko batiya but I asked her not to tell anyone as I wanted to give you all a surprise.", she replied to her father's question.

"Maa you told me there was a surprise for me as well, what is it", asked Annanya

"Isse phechana", asked Varsha pointing towards Naira

"Naira", she said slowly after thinking for a while, Naira nodded her head slightly in a positive response.

Ananya immediately engulfed her into a hug.

"Tum kab ayi, tu kahan thi. Tujhe pata hai sabki kya halath hogi tere begair. How much we all missed you, do you know?", she questioned
Annanya was about to tighten the hug when she realized that there was some hindrance and broke the hug and noticed the baby bump.

"Naira tum pregnant ho", the cousin asked happily shocked.

"Annanya di aap ek saans mein kitne sawal phuchenge.", asked Mishti giggling.

"Naira di yahan teen mahine phele ayi", said Mishti

"What it has been so long but none of you told me even once", she said sounding miffed.

"We wanted too, but it had been only few months since you had gone back after attending Yash Rose wedding and we knew you would want to come back immediately when we told you about it and we didn't want that because Anamika's school woud have got effected. She had already missed a month during the wedding. Plus Ranveer ji office work was also there.", replied Varsha to her daughter's queries.

"Di, Anu (short for Anamika) aur Ranveer jiju nahi aye", asked Naksh

"Saale sahab hum kaise na aate meri doll aur mein dono tumhari behn ke bina nahi rhe sakte", said Ranveer as he entered with a sleeping seven year old in his arms making his wife blush abd the others tease

"I thought you said you would wake her up. I told you she wouldn't wake up easily, after all she is gone on her father.", said Annanya giggling

"Let her sleep the poor girl must be tired because of such a long journey", said bhabhima

"Ranveer ji why don't you lay her down on the sofa", said shaurya

Annanya filled Ranveer on Naira.

"Waise jijaji bhi aye hai kya", asked Ananya in a teasing tone

"Jijaji toh kab ke agaye, Naira se bhi phele", replied Gayu and Annanya gave her a look which meant, what are you talking about.

"Annanya beta milo tumhare jijaji se", said Rajshri keeping a hand on Karthik's shoulder. Ananya and Ranveer looks on shocked. The Singhanias tell her how they found out that Naira was Karthik's wife and how he bought her here.

"Thank you so much mujhe meri behn wapis dene ke liye", she said while hugging Karthik

"Abhi tak purri tarhe se wapis nahi diya", Karthik said while in the hug.

"I will explain to you later", Karthik whispered after a pause and then broke the hug.

"Papa", called a sleepy voice and all turned to see a woken up anamika rubbing her eyes.

"Hum bua nani ghar phauch gaye", said the girl looking around

"Doll inse milo, yeh hai apki Naira maasi", said Ranveer

"Nayi maasi, wow", she said happily and got up from the sofa to hug Naira.

"Maasi, why is your stomach so funny", asked the girl with a confused expression.

"Baby aise nahi kehte, maasi ke stomach mein chota baby hai issiliye", Annanya was about to continue but was cut off

"Haww, maasi ne baby kha liya. Woh mujhe bhi khayegi kya", she said and everyone laughed at her innocence.

"Don't worry apki massi babies nahi khati, sirf mera sar khati hai", Karthik said making everyone laugh even more and Naira glared at him.

"Maasi aap Karthik bhaiya ka sar kyun khati ho.", asked the innocent soul.

"Beta aaj se tum Karthik ko bhaiya nahi mausaji bulao", said Rajshri

"Kyun", anu asked

"Kyunke woh apke massi ke pati hai", replied Varsha

"Yeh meri bhabhi hai", said Anu looking at Naira

"Nahi, mein apki massi hun", said Naira.

"All of you are very confusing last time Karthik bhaiya, bhaiya the so apko meri bhabhi hona chaiye. Lekin sab ke rahe hai app masi hai aur bhaiya mausa ji, mein bahut confused hun", she said with a pout

"Aap jo bulana hai hum dono ko bulao", said Karthik picking the girl in his arms

"My bhaiya is the best", said the girl kissing Karthik's cheeks

"See this is why I want a girl. They are so cute", he said.

"Haan haan so that are daughters will always take your side, Mishti humesha tumse chipakti hai, tumhari side leti hai aur ab yeh bhi", said Naira.

"Tum jealous ho rahi ho", asked Karthik smirking.

"No way", she said

"Tum ho", he retorted

"Nhi", she replied back.

The both continued this for the next five minutes.

"BASSS....", screamed Anamika at the top of her voice, silencing the two big children standing infront of her.

Karthik and Naira stood silently with the finger on their lips.

"Kitne ladte hai aap dono. Woh bhi bina baat ke. Aap dono chote bache ho", lectured the little girl keeping her hands in her hips, while the others tried hard to control their laughter looking at the threesome.

"Acha chalo hum sab terrace par chalte hai, Kite fly karni hai", said Gayu

"Haan chalo chalte hai. Mujhe kab se intezaar tha patang udane ka", said Naira excited

"Naira tum iss saal rahne do. Aggle saal patang udana", said Karthik trying to convince her for the last time.

"Karthik tum ne promise kiya tha ab tum apni bath se mukar rahe ho. Mein tum se bath nahi karungi. Tum gande ho", she said and turned her face the other way.

"Karthik meri angel ko jo karna hai wo karne do", Manish ordered.

"Haan beta, udanne do usse", said bhabhima and devyani

"Karthik kuch nahi hoga agar woh patang udaegi. Jab mein Mishti ke saath pregnant ki mein ne bhi udayi", said Karishma.

"Lekin agar kuch..,", Karthik still wasn't convinced he felt something was wrong but didn't know how to explain his fears to them nor wanted them to panick for no reason

"Karthik we are all there to take care of her as well as you are there.", said Akshara and Karthik nodded slightly in agreement

On the terrace everyone was flying kites. Karthik didn't leave Naira even for a second. He made sure Naira would not jump while trying to fly the kite.

"bhaiya", said Anamika gaining Karthik attention

"Kya hua meri gudiya", said Karthik coming down to meet her height

"Mujhe patang udaani sikhni hai. Aap bahut acha uda rahe hai", she said

Karthik looked at the little girl and then at his wife. He didn't want to say no to anamika but didn't want to leave Naira alone either.

"Karthik you go am here with Naira", said Naksh who had listened to the entire conversation and understood Karthik's silent dilemma. Karthik gave a smile and went with the young girl to the table to select a kite.

Karthik and Anamika were closer to the right end of the terrace while Naira and Naksh closer to the left end. Karthik tried to keep an eye but all the family members in between made it difficult.

After a few minutes Naksh got a call, as he couldn't hear because of all the noise he headed down to receive it.

Just as Karthik had thought Naira had gone way into the kite flying. She moved more and more forward getting closer to the railing and it was as if ill luck was on her side, the part of the railing she stood near to shook but our sherni who was so excited in flying her kite took no notice.

While Karthik was teaching Anamika he looked over the gardens from above and saw Naksh. He panicked at the thought of no one's attention being on Naira and rushed towards her.

As soon as Karthik reached her. He noticed the shaking and cracked railing but before he could say a word she moved a step forward. The railing next to her crashed to the ground. Naira wasn't able to maintain her balance for more than a few seconds and her feet slipped off the edge but she kept a grip on the terrace floor. Everyone was too shocked to react for a moment. Karthik was the first to run to Naira and take her hand and pull her up. Naitik took Naira's other hand and helped her up as well.

Karthik engulfed Naira in a bone crushing hug after she was safely back on top.

"Yeh railing akhir giri kaise", asked Karishma confused

"Shayad phele se kamzor ho issilye gir gaya", said devyani

"Naira/princess/angel tum thik toh ho", asked Akshara Naitik Suvarna Manish together.

Naira and Karthik were still hugging one another both were trembling out of fear.
