Three days. Three days with the talking, with Kartik chipering around excitedly while she would start laughing with real happiness. Three days and they had their happiness back. But... how long would that happiness last? Rajshri knew Suvarna was plotting something, something big.

"Kirti di, chalo na dance karte hai!" Mansi suddenly burst out. Kirti nodded and Mansi turned to Naira. "Naira bhabhi, aap bhi aao na!" Naira nodded and went to join (for she could dance a little without her leg hurting) but Kirti shook her head at him, motioning towards her whole.

Oh. right. She sighed. "Sorry Mansi, I can't." Mansi shrugged and started dancing with Kirti while everyone started clapping.

Naira looked around smiling. Finally, all of the family was happy, together at last. She looked back at Kartik who looked the same, and gave her his goofy smile. She gave him a glare in return and huffed.

He rolled his eyes. Back to sherni style. But he smiled nonetheless.

Mansi spotted Luv and Kush and excused herself, before going up to them and dragging them away from the others. "Luv Kush! Where are the papers? It has been three days already, I think it's time to tell everything!"

"Wo humne apne kamre main chupa diye!" Luv said. "Because Suvarna chachi is still angry and is still looking for them." Mansi sighed.

"I know, and she'll make other papers if we don't reveal everything now. Go, fetch them and show them to Manish uncle!" Nodding, both ran off and she returned back to dancing to not raise suspicion.

Naira suddenly got a call and walked away, picking it up. It was her doctor. "The reports have come in ms. Naira Singhania. You'll be happy to know that you are indeed pregnant."

Her heart stopped and she froze.

"I have sent the details to your house, you may see for yourself." The call was cut off. Naira rushed outside to where the mail was usually delivered and saw the letter in the box. Thanking the gods, she rushed back inside and past everyone, to her room, which didn't go unnoticed by Kirti who also slipped behind her when no one was paying attention.

Naira looked over the papers with shock and pure joy, eyes tearing up as she read it through. She really was pregnant! She-

"Naira what happened-" Without wasting a second she shoved the papers in Kirti's arms who grabbed them and looked over them confused, before an over-excited smile found her lips. "R-REALLY?! OH MY GOD Naira CONGRATULATIONS!" She tackled the girl in a hug, while Naira started crying tears of joy. "Naira, we HAVE to tell everyone!"

Manish was confused when he was pulled away from the others by Luv and Kush.

"Manish uncle, it's about Suvarna aunty!" They said in unison and he sighed.

"I know Luv Kush, ahsi told me everything about how she wants to force a divorce between Naira and Kartik." Ashi had told him everything, and he had of course went to consult Suvarna in anger, but she had dismissed him for doing such a thing. "I don't think she'll do it."

"But Manish uncle, she already did!" They handed him the papers. As his eyes scaled over them, his shock and anger rose. So what Ashi had told him was... true?

"... SUVARNA!" He shouted as loud as could, and everyone stopped as he stomped back to where they all were gathered. Kirti and Naira came racing down looking worried, but he paid no mind to them. His only attention was his wife, who was looking at him confused.

"Kya hua Manish Ji? Why are you so-"

"WHY AM I SO ANGRY?! WHAT IS THIS?!" He threw the papers at her and she caught them, growing surprised when she read them. "HOW COULD YOU SUVARNA?! HOW COULD YOU?!"

"What is that papa?" Kartik, who was beside the grimacing Ashi, asked confused.

"Divorce papers! Your and Naira's divorce papers, she was going to FORCE a divorce if you didn't yourselves!"

Kartik froze. Naira became heartbroken and was about to fall had Kirti not caught her.

"... maa? Kya yeh... sach hai?" Kartik asked slowly, now in disbelief. Suvarna growled.

"I just wanted to get this girl away from you! So you can finally be happy, so you can finally live a normal life! Was that wrong to do?!"

No one replied. Kartik stared at her in mute anger and clenched his fists. One more word and he'll snap. He'll snap at his mother and tell her how he really feels, how she's MAKING him feel.

Naira beat him to it again. "Why are you doing this maa?! Why do you hate me so much?! You didn't even give me a chance to justify myself, you just blamed me for everything that happened!" She was crying in sadness and betrayal.

"BECAUSE IT WAS YOUR FAULT! YOUR FAULT MY SON DIED, YOUR FAULT SHUBHAM IS NOT WITH ME ANYMORE!"

"No it was not! It was because of Suhana that he had started drugs, I was not to blame!" She fought back glaring at her.

"LIES! You knew he took drugs, yet you chose to hide it!"

"He asked me to, he told me he would tell you everything as soon as possible! I didn't know he was going to have a drug overdose that morning when he was supposed to tell everyone!"

"HOW DARE YOU LIE AGAIN!" She yelled and winded her hand back before-

SLAP!

Naira fell on the floor, her hand flying on the cheek Suvarna had just slapped. Kartik snapped.

"MAA, STOP IT!" He came racing to Naira, trying to help her up and glaring daggers at his mother. "STOP. YOUR. DRAMA."

Suvarna stared at him surprised and sad. "W-what do you mean Kartik, i'm doing this for you-"

"NO YOU'RE NOT! YOU'RE JUST DOING THIS FOR SHUBHAM, you're doing this because you want revenge for shubham's death, you want to take Naira's life away, to make her suffer the same thing you've been suffering! Sadness!"

"K-Kartik-"

"DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT." He said roughly, holding his hand up to stop her when she went to kneel next to him. "Just- just LEAVE. LEAVE. ME. ALONE. I need to think. And DON'T you DARE touch Naira again. Or you won't be my mother anymore."

Everyone gasped, and Suvarna looked heartbroken. Tears running down her face, she ran out of the house without a word and Kartik turned back to Naira who was looking at him in shock.

"Naira? Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

She opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out. Instead dizziness took over and she fell into darkness. The last thing she remembered was hearing Kartik shouting her name.

..... Yahoo! I uploaded this chapter today as well! Everything is looking up in the family, everyone is happy until Manish finds the papers courtesy of Luv, Kush, Mansi and Anmol. Naira confirms she's indeed pregnant and Kartik finally some-what confronts Suvarna after she slaps Naira. Not the ending, I'm still continuing😋.
