She didn't know why she was here. Last thing she remembered was hearing Suvarna shouting something about Kartik and ashi marrying each other, running back to her room and crumbling down in tears.

Not even the sound of the door opening stopped her. Someone stepped near her and kneeled to her level, before gently wrapping his arms around her. She... recognized him.

"Shh... don't worry jaan, I won't let this happen..." Kartik whispered softly, stroking her hair to calm her down. "I won't let maa get through her plan... we have been separated for her sake, but not anymore..."

"But how Kartik!?" She tore away from him, angrily glaring at him. "You can never manage to stand up to her, neither can I! We both know that she's hurt, but i'm starting to doubt it's just because of shubham's death. Maybe she hates me and wants me to just DIE!"

The next thing he did was unexpected. He grabbed her and pulled her in, his lips meeting her. Her anger slowly subdued and she slowly wrapped his hands around his neck, while his snaked around her waist, pulling her closer. His touch was soft, making shivers run down her spine.

It was not until they heard footsteps did they let each other go, Naira blushing and looking flustered while Kartik was smirking at the state he had caused his sherni.

"Naira bhabhi?" Mansi, Luv and Kush peaked in and spotted Kartik in. she smirked. "Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to disturb you."

Inko kehna chahiye kabab mein haddi. Naira thought mindlessly and glanced at Kartik, pouting at the smirk he was giving her. Enjoy it while it lasts medhak, because this sherni is coming to hunt you back.

"Everyone was worried. I just came to fetch you." Mansi smiled. "And don't worry bhaiya bhabhi, neither me or the whole family will let this happen. We promise."

"I know Mansi." Kartik chuckled hugging her. "I know."

They went down to join everyone else who had calmed down.

They were silent. At last Akhilesh sighed and got up. "On behalf of Suvarna, I apologize." this surprised everyone. "I know she's hurt, but that was a step too far. I want Kartik and Naira to be happy, and what she is doing is only driving them away. Our happiness, is in theirs. She's..."

"... taking everything away." Surekha sighed. "I somehow wish everything would go back to normal. But it can't. The consequences are..." she knew. How Suvarna would leave them if Naira didn't.

"It's not your fault, either of you." Devyaani sighed. "She's the one who's blinded by her anger. We have tried, but we can't make her understand."

Naira sighed. If only they could. She looked at the time, realizing she also had that appointment with the doctor about her pregnancy.

"Really?!" He realized what he was doing and put her down. "I mean, uhh- congratulations!" He was still smiling a goofy smile. The same smile she loved. She nodded and left without another word, but he was too happy to follow.

Yes! Naira will finally be able to achieve her dream, she'll be able to dance again! Her injury will heal! His smile faltered. ... the same injury I caused... no Kartik. This is a time to celebrate, not mourn! I should throw her a... party! He basically skipped away in joy, not noticing those watching.

Rajshri shook her head chuckling and exchanged knowing looks with Kirti. Everything was finally looking up.

Meanwhile...

"Yes, are the papers ready?" Suvarna asked through the phone.

"Yes, you just have to sign it so they can be sent to the judge who, with the money you gave him, will divorce them."

"Perfect." Suvarna grinned. Finally. "Send me the papers if you can." Soon the papers arrived through the printer, and she picked them up. Mansi and Anmol suddenly came running in, looking panicked.

"Suvarna ji, a cat got in your bag and tore it away!" Anmol blurted out looking nervous.

"Kya?!" Suvarna put the papers aside and rushed off.

She didn't notice however, Luv Kush hiding behind a pillar. They came out of their hiding and gave a thumbs up at Mansi and Anmol who waved back and ran after Suvarna. Luv and Kush exchanged mischievous smiles, took the papers she set aside and ran away before they got caught.

..... Finished! No, not like the story is finished, just the chapter. Naira learns that Ashi and Kartik will get married and is heartbroken (i know, in the show she learned ages ago that Ashi was called to marry Kartik, but I did start from before Ashi was revealed sooo...) and Kartik comforts her. He later learns about her leg and is overjoyed. Meanwhile, Suvarna's plan is soon to be ruined by our Luv and Kush! ... yeah i'm making it from sad to happy.
