Avoid mistakes if any

It's 2 am in the night and sky was full of stars. Everyone was asleep except for Naira who was constantly gazing at the sky sitting on the terrace.

Naira's Pov

I still can't believe kal haldi hai meri. It's been so many years since I spent my whole life here. I don't want to leave but I have to leave.

The sad moments, the happy moments I can never forget in my life that I have spent here. Even though I hated maa I just can't forget her. She was my support system when I was small. Gayu di and Naksh used to sleep here with me when I was small. Those days can never be forgotten.

I was busy in my thoughts when my phone rang breaking my moment. I frowned because it's too late and who would call me at this time.

I took the phone only to see Mr. Goenka calling me. I picked it up with a bright smile.

"Hello, Mrs. Soon to be Goenka." I admired the way he is lying down on the bed with his hand support his head. He looked cute with that smile.

"Hello! Kahan khoyi ho?" I smiled and shook my head.

"Kya hua jamab? Neend nahi aa rahi hai?" I asked folding my legs on the swing.

"Agh! Kya kahe ji kisi ki yaado mein khoya hun. Woh roj mere sapno mein aa kar mujhe satati hai lekin aaj socha kyun na hum unko sataye." He teased me making me laugh.

"Tum has rahi ho? I'm teasing you here and you are laughing? Haww!"

I laughed more when he said he looks so cute.

"Hahaha...aww...bechare tum. Tumhe kya lagta hai, main un ladkiyon mein se hun jo sharma jaaye? Naah Mr. Goenka I'm different." I winked at last making him bon his head.

"Haan haan...and I'm lucky that this different girl gonna be mine forever and ever. Vaise tum terrace pe kya kar rahi ho?"

"Nothing. Neend nahi aa rahi thi toh socha thoda me time bita lun. Vaise bhi kuch hi din hai shadi mein aur main vahan aa jaungi." I don't know why I got emotional today everywhere today and everytime.

I looked at him who was staring at me with a smile which clearly shows he is forcing himself to become sad. Ohh he is cute. We spoke for more 15 minutes and bid bye. I got up to go when I saw bhai and Gayu di standing behind me.

"Aap log yahan?" I asked rubbing of the tears that made their way out.

Bhai came forward and hugged me sideways.

"Let's spend our night here. Like old times. Chal Gayu, laga bistar." I laughed at their excitement. Di placed the mattress on the floor and we trio lied down on it with me in the middle. The best night after so long.

Goenka House

"Swarna! Ja dekh Kartik taiyar hua ki nahi? Hume haldi vahan bhi bhejni hai. Already 10 baj chuke hai." Dadi shouted on top of her voice making everyone shock.

"Ohh! Dadi ji! Thoda shant ho jaiye. Bhej denge haldi kahan kisko jaldi hai. Aur Shubham gaya hai Kartik ko laane." One of the relative said making her sigh.

"Arey jaldi karni padti hai. Yeh bacche kuch kam nahi hai. Sabko masti karni hoti hai. Isliye bola." At that time only Kartik came down with Shubham in white and yellow shaded kurta.

They made him sit on a special seat like a round tub.

"Dekho sab, mujhe jyada mat lagana. Kal shadi hai kahi gora dikhne ke bajaye pila na dikh jaun." Listening him all laughed a loud.

Dadi came forward and applied him haldi on his leg, hands and cheeks. Slowly slowly everyone did the same. And when the younger clan came with Shubham it was the time for some fun game.

"Dekh Shubham maar khayega agar kuch kiya toh. I will kill you." He warned him and Shubham made a innocent face.

"Dekho bhaiya aap mere ek laute bhai ho. Magar main masti nahi karunga aapke sath pakka. Yeh dekho thodi si haldi hai hath mein." He showed his hand and Kartik bobbed his head.

Shubham applied haldi and they were a moment when out of nowhere Shubham guestuered someone to do something.

Kartik was smiling looking at him when out of nowhere somone dropped cold water on him making him shriek.

"Aghh! Mummy!" All laughed at him. Kartik glared at him and came out of the tub and started running behind him.

"Bhai! Stop running. Kahi moch voch na aa jaye. Sab kahenge langdate huye dulha aaya hai."

"Tu ruk tu main batata hun tujhe log kya kahenge." The whole house filled with laughter seeing them. Later on Shubham came inside the house holding stomach and face. Kartik had hit him really badly.

Singhania House

Goenkas except for Kartik had reached Naira's house with the haldi. Soon enough Naira also came down in

The flower jewellery was specially made by Naksh for mehndi and haldi. Naira smiled looking at the Goenkas. She was made to sit on the seat.

"Chalo chalo... Swarna ji aap saas hai toh aap hi shuruwat karengi." She bobbed her head and applied haldi on her face.

The Goenkas were applying haldi on her when dadi came down holding something behind her back. She said beside Surekha where the shagun was kept. She slipped that thing in it and went away after saying she forgot something.

The Goenkas soon left from there. Akshara came forward to apply haldi on her. Naira was feeling different kind of emotions inside her tummy.

"Maine tumhare sath bahut kuch galat kiya hai. Aaj jab tumhe aise dekh rahi hun ji bhar aa raha hai. Meri pyari gudiya ho sake toh apni maa ko maaf karde." She joined her hands infront of her making her emotional. Naira bit her lips and let her tears fall down.

Naira hugged her immediately. Whole atmosphere was turning sad.

"Acha ab bas. Ab se tum bas khush rehna, chahe tujhe koi bhi kuch bhi kahe. Yaad rakhna iss baar tu akeli nahi hai."

"Ji....maa" Naira bobbed her head and taking a pause she called her maa making her smile brightly.

Soon even Naitik applied haldi on her pecking her forehead. Now came the evil head of the house. Out of nowhere dadi came forward and not to create any problems nobody said anything.

"Haaye...kitni pyari lag rahi hai." She said loudly and taking the haldi in her hand she rubbed it a bit harshly on her cheeks making her frown. She bent towards her and whispered

"Ab tu dekh kya hota hai. Tujhe shadi karne ka bahut shauk hai na. I wish you a very cruel life and a cruel husband." Naira got tears listening her. People thought they were sharing a sad moment but who knew what kind of moment they were sharing.

Naira looked at her who smirked and left from there. Her mood changed when Gayu came forward and hugged her before applying haldi on her face.

"I'm so so happy for you. Stay like this forever. Kuch bhi ho jaaye harna mat." Naira bobbed hed head with a sad smile.

Some people came and applied haldi on her. They teased her alot but what dadi said was making her sad, it was breaking her heart alot.

"Arey bhai! Naksh kahan hai? Kab se dikhayi nahi de raha hai." Someone said making all search him. Naira was desperate one.

"Gayu di. Bhai kahan hai? Subah toh woh aapke sath the na?" Naira asked to which she replied

"Mujhe nahi pata. Bhai bol ke gaye ki woh bahar ka dekh lenge."

At that time only they saw Naksh being pulled by somone inside. He was pleading a lot to leave him.

"Arey bhai! Bahut kaam hai."

"Teri behen ki haldi hai isse jyada kya important hai?. Kabse sab dhund rahe hai."

Naksh was standing in front of Naira now.

"Chal Naksh laga behen ko haldi. Kabse sab wait kar rahe hai." He bobbed his head while keeping his head down only.

He took a bit of haldi and moved closer to her still keeping his head down. Naira knew how he must be feeling.

"Bhai...dekhoge nahi." She asked softly and that was it. He broke down badly. He looked at her and hugged her immediately. It was the moment where every brother would cry for this. Seeing his sister already big enough to leave the house was something he was never ready.

They kept crying for few minutes. Naitik came forwarded patted his back telling him to calm down. They broke the hug when they felt content.

He applied haldi on her and pecked forehead. She too applied haldi on him and hugged him later on.
