She scanned the room carefully, examining every detail as she walked around, making sure everything was perfect.
"Yeh kya hogaya", she said coming to a halt near the wall where the flower strings were arranged in white yellow pink, instead of white pink yellow, like she had clearly instructed the decorators. Not seeing anyone about she pulled a nearby ladder closer to wall and put her leg on it, but wasn't able to keep her balance for long and tripped backwards falling into a pair of familiar arms. He gripped her tightly, so that she wouldn't fall with one arm, than with the other he lifted her up into his arms and carried her to a nearby sofa.
"Naira, what were you thinking", he screamed concerned, while she looked at him innocently with puppy eyes.
"Don't give me that look am not melting this time, main ne tum se kaha tha, that you will only give instructions, khud koyi kaam nahi karogi.", he said seriously.
"Maine instructions diye the magar unho ne mere instructions follow nahi kiye, koyi ass pass nahi tha iss liye socha khud kardu.", she said innocently, looking placing her hand around him and resting her head on his shoulder.
"Naira not this time", Karthik said strictly, moving her head from his shoulder.
"What were you thinking, trying to climb a ladder in your six month of pregnancy, I don't even want to think what could have happened, if I hadn't caught you on time.", Karthik said as his eyes filled with tears.
"I am sorry Karthik, agge se aur dhyan rakhungi", she said apologizing as encircled her arms around him.
"I don't want to loose anyone more", he said while still in the hug, his voice breaking, she could feel the lump in his throat because the same was in her's both were remembering what happened five years ago.

"Dekha Karna, humari koyi importance hi nahi hai, yeh teeno humare bina hi hug kar rahe hai", a young girl pouted making Karthik and Naira break the hug and look in that direction.
"Papa kabhi apni angel ko bhul sakte hai", Karthik asked smiling as he went on his knees infront of the girl
"Haan Rosh yeh dono sirf tum se aur Kaira se pyaar karte hai", Karna pouted
"Mera bacha, kiss ne kaha koyi aap se pyaar nahi karta, mumma apne prince, apne chote mendak se bahut pyaar karti hai", Naira said making the young boy sit next to her and hugging him tightly.

"Yeh kya bff, mujhe bhul gaye", a girl in her early 20's complained.
"Aap ko koyi bhul sakta hai pretty lady", said Karthik giving her a hug
"Waise aaj meri pretty lady bahut pretty lag rahi hai, kiss ko impress karne ka irada hai, dhule raja toh phele se hi tumhare pyaar mein pagal hai", Karthik teased.
"Bff", Mishti said trying to sound mad but ended up blushing instead
"Karthik meri bhen ko tang mat karo aaj uski sagai hai, haq banna hai ke woh iss duniya ki sab se khubsurat ladki dikhe", said Naira taking her sister's side.
"Kya hua?", asked Karthik as he saw Mishti's smile fade.
"Sab ki yaad arahi hai", she said her eyes filling with tears.
"Chalo un se milne chalte hai phir", said Naira with a smile and led the way upstairs, making sure that Roshini and Karna didn't follow. She unlocked a room and went inside followed by the other two and locked it again.

The room was filled with numerous photos all with flower garlands around it.
"Mumma dekhiye humari choti si Mishti itni badi hogayi, aaj uski sagai hai, Woh apko bahut miss kar rahi hai, aur hum sab bhi", Naira said looking at Akshara's photo.
"Karishma chachi agar aap aaj hoti, toh bahut khush hoti Mishti ke liye, uska hone wala life partner uss se bahut pyaar karta hai", she said smiling at Karishma's picture.
"I love you mumma", Mishti said keeping a hand on Karishma's photo her eyes filling up with tears.

Flashback

Within a year all misunderstandings had been sorted out and Karthik was happily back to his family, all thanks to Naira. Gayu got married to Vivan and Rose gave birth to a girl who they named Roshini and lovingly called Rosh. By the end of the year Karthik and Naira got married and were extremely happy, another year had gone by and the bond between the Goenka and Singhania family had strengthened. Naksh and Kirti had also come closer, but were scared to give love one more chance, but the other family members convinced them and they decided to move on and accept their feelings for one another and were to happily married.
Everyone had gathered in Singhania house, the Goenkas, Maheshwaris, Rukmani dadi and family. It was tripple celebration Naksh and Kirti had been happily married for six months, Rosh was two years old and Karna had completed a month. So they decide to hold a get together to celebrate the occasion since it was a Sunday everyone thought to start the gathering in the morning and let it continue till evening.
When everyone was there Mishti complained that there was no ice cream.
"Koyi baath nahi mein le ke ata hun", Karthik said
"Naira tum bhi karna ko le ke Karthik ke saath jao waise bhi doctor ne kaha hai ke usse Vitman D ki kami hai iss liye usse sunlight mein rahne chaiye", Swarna told Naira.
"Bff mein bhi aati hun, mujhe ice cream ke flavour select karne hai", said Mishti
"Lagta hai yeh bhi ana chati hai", said Rose, looking at her two year old who was looking at her Karthik, with her arms stretched out.
"Birthday girl ko apni favourite ice cream leni hai, no problem mamu apni angel ko uski man pasand ice cream dilayenge ", said Karthik as he took Roshini from Rose.

Five of them reached the ice cream parlour. Karthik took Rosh in his arms and Mishti followed closely, Naira said that she would wait outside with Karna, since she had come so that Karna would be exposed to the sunlight as doctor had advised. 
The three were happily selecting ice cream and Naira was cooing her little baby in her arms, without even realizing what was going on else where.
A while later a bunch of police cars came, setting up a check post.
Walking up to a officer Naira questioned what was going on, and itne officer informed her that many blasts had taken place today around rajasthan, two blasts occurred in Udaipur itself. So there would be strict checking of any car that passed by.
Naira felt her heart thump loudly at the news of the blast, she went in the parlour and asked Karthik to hurry home.
When they reached close they weren't allowed to go any further as the whole area was sealed, they were informed that a blast had occurred there, since it was one of the heavily populated areas of udaipur, with a number of houses, shopiping centres and parks all close by. The police were searching for any survivors, lucky they did find few but their conditions were so bad it was a doubt they would make it through. 
After the police checked the area thoroughly for survivors and admitted the handful to the hospital, civilians were allowed to go in the area.

The reached Singhania House, which was completely burnt, Roshini was crying non stop her little eyes had become red and puffy. Karthik tried to pacify her but she would not stop and began calling for her mother, and tried to push Karthik's arms of her so she could go in the charred building and look for her mother. Karthik gripped his angel more strongly in his arms so she would not go anywhere, he turned to look at his wife, whose face had turned pale after having lost all it's colour, she held their one month son who was wailing, trying to calm him, but there was a storm in her own mind and he knew that, he looked at his bff who was trembling, her eyes filled with tears. In one moment there whole life had turned upside down.

Years flew by, they reconstructed and redocrated the house exactly as it was before, making sure there wasn't a single change except for the room where every family members pictures were placed. Similar rooms were there in Maheshwari and Goenka houses. They had moved to Goenka house, since this place had bought back a lot of memories. Rosh and Karna knew nothing of what happened or about any other family members. Maheshwari, Singhania and Goenka Industries had been merged together and Karthik was running it, he made sure that the companies run well just as they were before, and he able to accomplish the feat infact the companies had begun to prosper more than before in his guidance.Naira had started her dance academy, which was running extremely well. During the years between they had to face alot, government officers trying to take away the land on which Singhania house was made, people trying to take over Singhania diamonds and Maheshwari hotels, the culprits of the bomb blast not getting punished due to the corrupt system. Mishti decided to become a lawyer so that she could get such culprits punished, it was then she met an honest police officer, in whom she found a caring friend and the love of her life. They were back at Singhania House only for two weeks for Mishti's wedding rituals.

Though they pretended everything was fine infront of the kids, even infront of each other they acted strong like they have move forward from that day, but though they never spoke very openly of it the truth was a part of them was still in that day where the blast occurred, yearning for their family to come back, they were still gathering themselves from that incident.
