"Vikaas you came" he hugged his brother he considers him more a brother than Salil here blood is not thicker than water.

"Wait is dad I mean Manish here too?"

"no but I do need to speak to you"

"Umm your to be bhabhi is waiting for me.. I can't talk right now" said Kartik

"Ok that's fine um later but it is important bro" Kartik nodded "you too come inside hmm" he patted his cheek

"Oi Salu make sure your mumma doesn't come and gatecrash my engagement" he yelled then went inside with Vikaas.

Kartik was feeling irritated but all that vanished when he saw his sherni she was wearing a purple lengha choli,with heavy work on the blouse and skirt very royal, it was sleeveless and had a dori and a few hooks at the back,the skirt was draping down touching the ground and exposing her waist. Her hair was half in a clip while the rest were flowing out, her eye make was heavy with a nude lip shade she looked stunning.

"uff haaye I just died and went to heaven" he said Naira smiled at his compliments but felt shy. Vikaas went and greeted Kavya, Kartik pulled Naira and then held her waist pulling her closer.

"Your looking so beautiful" he said

"Ahem masi, ma, di sab hai thoda control" she said slowly trying to remove his hands

Kartik is about to put the ring on Naira's finger "beta" said Savitri and faints in the middle of it leaving everyone distracted Kartik got up and looked at her and then at Naira, what to do.. but he sat down again

"Now If you want to you can go find out about Savitri and see if she is ok.. he clicked his tongue taking his hand back.

"Kartik and Naira" they turned to the front "come have some food" said Arohi

"Yes I am starving" she said

"Chale baby?" he nodded he helped her walk in her heavy lehenga they walked a few steps when he pulled her closer holding her soft waist

"Now officially you are mine" he pecked her lip which took her by surprise

"Mendak sab hai what are you doing" she looked away.

"Darling" he held her chin and turned her "it's ok we are to be married soon"

"Naira sorry I am late" Sriti came rushing to them.

"no no no..I know why you want to taste it off my fingers,behave and have this daal chaval chup chap come on" she said he opened his mouth and chewed it like a kid who is forced to eat.

"That's like my good boy I love you" he was annoyed but then when she behaved so cute how can he be?

"Love you too" he kissed the air to her then started eating again

"Mujhe nai khilavoge?" She asked putting her spoon down, he smiled and fed her some chaat which was one of the food items once all had eaten a cake was brought out by the cateer staff.

Kartik took her by the hand and they went and cut the cake everyone cheered them Naira picked a piece and took it to his mouth.

"This you can have from my hand" he opened his mouth and ate the cake he then took a piece and fed her. Kartik and Naira were then called to dance they enjoyed dancing with each other, then everyone came and joined them on the floor, all were couple dancing

"Salil came you know he is cheating on Tara" he said

"Oh..but I thought well we can talk..

"True..anyways we are now officially engaged" he replied gazing into her eyes

"I know I can't believe it" she hugged him whilst dancing he smiled swaying with her gently. Then her masimaa and Arohi started talking with her and then came Kavya, all got busy and they made a distance mixing with the others. Naira went and sat down on the chair Kartik was busy chatting with Vikaas

"Kal bro today meri engagement haina pakka kal batana I'll go join Naira you dance and enjoy na" he went off and saw his girl.

"Tired Dance nai karna?" He said sitting next to her placing his hand around her waist.

"Look at them John uncle,masimaa, Arohi Arjun, Kavya sab dance kare hai they haven't even noticed we are missing sab busy hai.." she took his hand.

"Hmm" he started drawing circles on her bare waist

"I think we should um go somewhere a bit private and-

"Naira didi to be jiju or can I call you jiju?" Said Kavya Kartik chuckled "jiju is fine I don't mind at all"

"Kavi we will just come you go please enjoy" she said and Kavya made her promise she will join them soon.

"Right" she got up then took his hand and they came out of the hall.

"Where to?" He asked they walked further.

"Here" he looked at the secluded area with a swimming pool.

"Iss corner mein" he said and pulled her forward she landed on his chest he tilted her by the chin and put his lips on hers sucking her lower lip then released it, he caressed her left cheek.

"Congratulations on your engagement baby" he then touched his temple to hers

"Congratulations to you too" she said in a chirpy tone he chuckled and she giggled whilst encircling his neck they kissed again just loving each other this way.

Kavya where is Naira?" Kavya shrugged her shoulders "why are you here your not invited!" He ignored her and walked off.

Naira pressed her lips, and both were panting after their make out session her hands were still encircled around his neck and his were holding her waist

"Everyone must be thinking where we got to"

"Obviously spending time together we just got engaged" he then started to kiss her soft neck and Inhaling her scent at the same time.

"Kartik" she moaned feeling his soft sweet kisses, she started to caress his nape as she closed her lids

"Kartik Naira!" They heard someone shout which startled them and they hugged

"There you are Kartik I figured tum dono saath hi honge"

"what do you want?" He said to Salil whilst holding Naira in his arms.

"What is your blood group let me cut to the point mumma well our mumma is in hospital she needs a blood transfusion as soon as possible I am not a match but you might be its ab negative" he said

"Sorry can't help my blood group is o you'll have to find someone else" he said

"Are you sure?"

"Aree kaha na" he said Salil left from there.

"Listen mendak" she cupped his chin and turned him to her.

"I know you just lied but if you want to give blood then"

"Leave it Naira it's been such a nice day we exchanged rings suno" he carried her up by the waist "I was thinking we just book a room here tonight" "what say?" She held his shoulders and smiled

"What ever my mendak wants" she hugged him he placed her back on her feet and hugged her they then went back in the hall and mingled with everyone after 2 hrs everyone left and they went to there room.

"Nice room but why are you quiet?"

"I think I should go give blood what if she doesn't get another donor I am so confused kya karo Naira" he said she came and held his hand "go otherwise you may regret it"

"Yah true but we booked a room and..

"Its ok we can do this anytime tum jao I'll wait till you get back" she said he pulled her forward and kissed her lips "thanks darling for understanding I'll be back soon"

"Love you drive carefully" he smiled with a nod, he left and reach there quick he told them his type and he was indeed a match he was taken in straight away. He saw Savitri lying in a bed hooked up to a machine he felt sad after all she is his mumma she carried him for 9 months and it hurt to see her this way a few hours passed he put his sleeve down and got up from there leaving her room, he turned and saw her but now he was having bitter thoughts of how rejected he felt and her knowing he was her son how did she sleep at night? He took a sharp inhale and left!

"Salil was panicking so much he loves his mumma alot" she said

"Wait do you want to have coffee?" He shook his head

"I should get back to Naira its late" with that he walked out and headed back he reached the room and saw the lights shut he switched on the nightlight as he needed to change his clothes but he was struggling to unbutton his shirt because his arm pained him.

"Hogaya Kartik?" she said in a sleepy tone "hmm you go back to sleep"

"Ahh" he winced

" Kartik" she said getting out of bed "stupid you should've waken me" she said and started to unbutton his shirt.

"Thanks" he held her waist as balance with his free hand she removed the shirt

"Bahut pain hora" she said seeing the plaster she blew light air on his arm.

"Its not too bad" he said unzipping his trouser but again couldn't unbutton his button

"come to bed I'll" she made him lie down and took his trouser off and tuck him in, she got in from the other side. "Sweet dreams"

"Why are you so far come closer na" she smiled "ok" she placed her arm across his waist and closed her eyes

"Kya sona nai?" She said seeing him wide awake. "I am not sleepy" he said unbuttoning her nightdress.
