They continued to eat,after dinner Keval insisted that they sit and chill with him in the living area.

"Ok boys don't stay up too late" she said getting up from the sofa.

Everyone got up and left. "Naira just a minute" he called and then shut the door.

"What was that?" He asked

"Exactly i 2nd what Kedar is saying also beta Dubai mein mera bahut acha dost his son can be helpful in this i can put you in contact with him" 

"Yes, that would be excellent dad. I really want to get this started very soon" he smiled.

"Wonderful son, I will get in touch with him today and exchange your contact details," said Manish.

Kartik hugged them both. "Darling" he came into her cabin.

Kaira stood together. "How are the wedding plans coming along?" asked Manish they got chatting for a bit about the wedding.

Within the next two days Kartik got ready to leave for Dubai. That guy had got in touch with Kartik for the perfume business. He wanted to set up a meeting. Therefore Kartikn had to leave for a business trip.

It was around 6pm and his flight was at 8pm. 

Naira was helping him with packing.

"Take this shirt too" she said whilst placing it in the suitcase. 

Hey bro yes i am on my way in 10" said Kartik then he cut the call short.

"All the best baby" she said, coming into his arms.

She shut the door so it was just them. Kartik grinned. "So the wifey wants to be alone with the hubby" he said walking over to her.

Naira looped his neck "If i could delay your flight by a few more hours then i would keep you all to myself" he chuckled keeping his palms on her hips. "Acha?"

Everyone exchanged handshakes. Meanwhile Naira was having lunch at her masi's home. 

"Bas i'm full masimaa and also i need to get back to the office" she told her.

"Not too long he will be here the day after tomorrow" she informed her.

Then she hugged her masimaa bye and left for work. 

Kartik's meeting ended and he and his team went for lunch then later met up with Eklavya's team for dinner minus one or 2 people.

Naira was missing him at home so she decided to stay late in the office but even there his empty desk was making her yearn for him more.

"Chalo call karti hu" she called but it went to voicemail. She tried a few times then gave up the next day, she woke up to a voice note.

"KG" she said, going into the lift. Kartik kept his hands in his pocket.

"I thought you didn't recognise me" 

"As if" he replied she took a step closer

"No stay on your side, the lift is big enough!" He commented.

"Angry KG the more hottie" Kartik rolled his eyes at her comment.

"Did we?" He questioned then the lift jerked and stopped. "Fuck" he cursed under his breath.

"Looks like the lift is stuck" she turned to him.

"What are you doing?" He asked as she looked near him.

"Come on.. KG you only told  me to wear red lipstick it's your favourite you said it makes girls look..

After applying it she turned to him. "Cheap really? It's cherry red the one you like! From what I remember after wearing it you would ask me to.." 

Kartik ignored her comments till.. "hey Val, you ok?" 

"No, KG I am feeling dizzy," she said, holding her head now was it genuine or her plan to get close to him either way it worked Kartik felt concerned for her. 

Naira text Kartik then went to sleep the next day she was not in a great mood Kartik had texted her that he will be staying one more night.

"Hi Naira, is Kartik sir back?" 

"Does it look like he is here?!" She snapped at a staff member. 

She sighed "Sir is coming tomorrow" she told the guy then left from the printer room.

She went into her cabin and shut the door. "Kartik tum itne busy kis cheez mein ho gaye ho '' she asked to herself.

Then she took her phone and scrolled through their videos and photos that fixed her mood.

After work she reached home a bit late. "Ji saab abhi hum aree hai" Naira heard. 

"Nitin koi arahe hai?" She asked their driver.

"Haan memsab, sab arehe hai main airport se lene jaraha hu" he said.

"Par woh toh..ok haan aap jao" she replied. Once he left she smiled. "Yes, yes he is coming tonight yay!! mera mendak love araha hai, meri hottie pati is coming tonight!" she happily danced.

"That was long back and it..i do like it on you but.. Kartik shook his head and walked away from her. He went and sat in his office and closed the door.

"Kartik! Yeh tum?" She went into the office and he saw that she had removed the lipstick.

He took a deep breath "Naira i have to tell you something in Dubai i..something happened"

"Haan bolo.. but he was hesitant.

"Bolo na Kartik you're scaring me" He struggled, he couldn't string a sentence together.

"Yesterday i..saw my past and i didn't like what i use to be" 

"Your past? Mujhe kuch samaj mein nai araha hai"

He sighed "I was a bad boy back then so..

"I know this.." she then clicked on "No Kartik mujhe kuch nai suna!" 

"Naira, listen!" He said holding her shoulders but she removed his hands off her.
