" I checked him there is nothing to worry about" said the nurse Naira looked down at him and kissed his temple.

"Right well I'll take your leave and don't worry Naira your doing a good job" she said reassuring her.

"Jaan I'll just see her out" he said  "ok" she replied cradling Kairav.

"If anything happened to you then I would never forgive myself" she said

"Jaan..bas stop blaming yourself" he said sitting down next to her then kissed Kairav's cheek.

"See how relaxed he is isn't it buddy mumma's godi is the best" he said then looked up at Naira.

"You always know the right thing to say" he wiped her tear

"My jaan is the best" he cushioned her head and kissed her temple then he saw Kairav watching  him with his cute eyes.

"Aur aap" he said carrying Kairav from her lap and holding him in mid air in front of him  "Kitne cute ho" he kissed both his cheek then Naira kissed Kartik's cheek and draped an arm around his shoulder.

"Kairav has your eyes" she smiled and kissed his soft cheek. "haina baby" she said rubbing her nose to his Kartik watched her cuteness with their baby.

"Let mumma just adjust this" she said placing his hat properly. "I am going to take extra special care of you" she said placing her hand behind his already one, they both looked at Kairav.

"Kittu?" Said Naira seeing him standing near the sofa  "kab jag gaya mera baccha" she said walking forward. "Baby?" He asked 

"Daddy has him" she said caressing his head he turned to Kartik's direction.

"Yaha hai see" Kartik showed him holding Kairav in his arms, Kittu nodded Naira held his hand.

"Are you hungry baby?" She said Kittu shook his head. "Baby brother" he said walking with her Naira sat down next to Kartik and sat Kittu in her lap.

"Hello baby" he said then touched his cheek.

"Kittu aapko bhai gode mein lena hai?" Asked Kartik which Naira shook her head to.

"But why jaan?" He asked her luckily Kittu wasn't really paying attention.

"Bas abhi nai it's his feeding time anyway why don't you go and play with Kittu in the garden" she said. "Yah daddy football" he said hoping off Naira's lap.

"Yes bacha chalo" he gave Kairav to her "jaan do you need any help" she shook her head "no  honey but thanks for asking" she said

"ok" he touch her cheek and then scooped Kittu up in his arms. "Daddy will win or Kittu?" He spoke to him as they walked off Naira smiled loving their bond.

" oh,ok ok kya Hua mela Kairav ko" she carried him up and gazed lovingly at his face then showered him with kisses.

"I love you so much" she said and he smiled at her she started feeding him.

Later that night they were in their bedroom.

"Did you settle Kittu?" He nodded coming into the room "yes jaan" she was rocking Kairav in her arms.

"I was thinking ke..

"Jaan" he sat next to her "we agreed that he will sleep in his nursery tonight like Kittu is in his room.." she nodded "yes your right"

"We have the baby monitor here too" he then kissed Kairav's face.

 "I'll just place him in the cot and come" she said getting up.. he nodded then got into bed he started checking his phone 15 minutes passed

"Its ok baby" she came back in the room holding him on her shoulder. "Mumma haina" she said rocking him.

"Jaan..

"Just for tonight he will sleep with us" she said getting into the bed holding him close to her he was still crying Kartik's attention went to the screaming face that was feeling irritated "eh kya hua are you hungry?" he asked then rubbed his little back.

"nai I tried that he didn't want milk or maybe he knows the first time it happened I..

"Jaan enough you can't blame yourself and he wouldn't think that hmm?" He ran his hand over her head.

"Shall I try?" He suggested to her which she agreed to..Kartik took him on his shoulder

 "bas,bas bacha shhh" he said rubbing his back. "That's better" he said hearing him not crying anymore.

"You did it" she said he turned to her "your welcome..here" he handed him back, placing him in her arms, she looked down at his face.

"Jaan.." he lifted her by the chin. "Babies sense tension you relax and he will too"

"I am trying to relax but I am just feeling worried" she said " Kittu then Kairav main..

"Main hu na there is nothing to worry about" he said reassuring her he kissed her temple.

"By the way mumma called Kairav ka naamkaran karna hai after tomorrow" he nodded

"Of course yes we will make arrangements for it tomorrow" he said then yawned

"Yah ab tum sojao we will see all this tomorrow" she said squeezing his hand she felt a bit better after talking to him.

"Ok goodnight jaan" they kissed on the lips "goodnight my angel" he kissed Kairav and then laid down. Naira smiled at his sleeping form then looked at Kairav who was also falling asleep she got up and placed him the bassinet and then brought it closer to the bed she then removed her gown and got into bed but slept on her side and watched Kairav sleeping.

The next day Kartik was on the phone..

"It had what?! He said into the phone.

"Kittu why did you throw the glass?" she scolded but he ran from her and clinged to Kartik's leg.

"Baccha" he said carrying him up and hugged him trying to control his tears after what the police just told him.

"Kartik" she said coming into the main room "Maine juice diya and he threw it to the floor"

"Jaan I'll clean it up its ok" he said

"Kartik that's not the point Kittu come here" Only if Naira knew why he threw the glass then she too would be hugging Kittu.

"Jaan please abhi nai" he said "fine then tum bigado use" she said leaving.

"Kittu it's ok baccha mujhe pata hai why you threw the glass but mumma ne juice diya mumma loves you" he said " chalo let's go to mumma" he said walking over to the kitchen

"Haan mera raja beta kitne cute hai mera kairav" she said holding him up and then rubbed her nose to his. "Kya?" She said talking to Kairav and then laughed she then placed him on her shoulder and he turned his face in the croon of her neck she smiled at his reaction.

"Honey listen" she said seeing Kartik holding Kittu she placed Kairav in his chair which was on the table then she walked up to him.

"Why is he behaving this way? what happened you still haven't told me who took him" she said then took his sleeping form in her arms.

"Jaan..why re-live it? tomorrow is Kairav's naamkaran I'll tell you but let's just leave it a for  few days" he said closing the topic.

"ok..but after that I want answers usne glass kyu pheka" she said then kissed his temple.    " it's not like him and I am going to have words with his daycare how did they let this happen!"  Kittu stirred

"Kittu" she said sweeping his hair out of his eyes "mumma is sorry" he looked at her

"Mumma" he hugged her Naira hugged his little frame "mera brave baccha"

"How many nights was he gone and kuch hua to nai na he is just three years old"

"He was checked by the doctors esa kuch nai hua thank god" he came and held Naira around the shoulder.

"He is alive,safe and with us" she nodded "your right mendak" she kissed Kittu's cheek.

"Tomorrow will be nice Kairav's naamkaran and you in a sari uff" he said nuzzling the tip of his nose on her cheek.

"Mendak not in front of the children" she said "oh.. he is getting lonely she said

"I'll see to him" he went to see to Kairav "oh..son you want to get out?" He carried him out and rubbed his back as he leaned on his chest, he then turned seeing Naira rocking Kittu from side to side and smiling as she spoke to him then  kissed his temple.

'Naira can never know what that glass had but thank God Kittu never ingested any poison he didn't touch the glass' he thought

"Mendak Kairav is crying where are lost?" she said taking Kairav from him.

"Oh sorry pata nai" he said wiping his forehead.

"He needs a diaper change come you can learn" she said holding his hand.

"Daddy come" said Kittu holding his other hand, they all went upstairs.

Naira sat on the bed with Kittu in her lap, Kartik placed Kairav on the bed but on his mat she instructed him what to do..

"Haan now get a fresh one and turned it..no the other way,ok now remove his babygrow on his legs and then took off the body suit by unpinning it.

"ok you cutie" he said as he was removing the diaper  then kissed his cheek he took his little hands and held them Naira resting her chin on Kittu's head nodded to tell Kartik something.

"Honey itna time mat lo quickly diaper phena do"

"Jaan I know what am doing.. oh shit"  Naira started laughing.

"Boys ke saath na esa hota hai that's why I said jaldi" Kartik wiped his arm after Kairav did susu Naira got up and got a wet towel she came back and saw her boys and smiled Kartik was showering Kairav with kisses on his cheeks and Kittu was kissing his temple.

"My family" she kissed the air with a loving gaze at the 3 of them she then came and wiped his arm and hand.

"Jaan how is it?" She looked at his work "100 out of 100" she said seeing the diaper.

"Oh yay Kittu high five buddy" he said Naira sat down next to Kartik they both did baby talk with Kairav and played with him.

"Nai maine lipstick abhi lagaye" she got out of his hold and then picked up Kairav from the bed.

"Ab hum parents hai yeh sab baad mein ab chalo!" She ordered him.

"Kittu ke baad his parents got married and we.. he said drawing circles on her exposed waist

"Daddy" Kittu burst into their room

"Ahem baccha" he carried him up they all went downstairs and greeted everyone, Naira held Piya's baby who was around 3 months now.

"Hi Rohan" she said carrying him and Kartik gave Piya Kairav Kittu was busy with his nani then the Pandit called Kartik and Naira for the ceremony which went nicely they then took family photos and then lunch was being served.

"Hi Kairav bahut cute naam hai' said Anjali whilst holding her grandson "yes it is jiju can I hold him now mumma"

"Haan Varun but dhyaan se" said Anjali

"He has held Kittu plenty that's it good job buddy" said Kartik smiling at him

"Thanks Jiju" said Varun

"and how is Kittu does Naira know anything?" Kartik shook his head "I will talk with her but not today" she nodded understanding his point of view.

 Naira was chatting with Piya whilst holding Kittu's hand he was quite clingy today not leaving her side.

"so did you guys do a pregnancy photoshoot?"

"Yah Shanks wanted to so we did in the park how about you guys.. "

"Haan kiya with Kittu but also just us we did a um.. she blushed

"Kya bolna"

"I um intimate one.."

"Omg Naira you have to show me!" 

"Will filter and show you" she said Piya gasped then she looked down.

"Kitkat why so quiet?" Naira carried him up.

"He is fine just sleepy haina bacha..

"Jaan is he ok?" Kartik came holding Kairav

"Honey I think we should change them out of their kurtas you feeling hot?" she touched Kittu's forehead.

"Yeah jaan good idea.." Kairav cooed "and I'll change him" said Kartik

"Piya we will just  be back in 10 minutes"

"Actually Naira we are going to go Rohan is getting restless"  she said

"Di you can put him to sleep here"

"Yeah Piya it's cool stay na" said Kartik "I'll see where Shanks is you guys should stay till dinner"

"Actually we have to go out later otherwise I would stay" Kartik nodded

"Ok then it was lovingly seeing you guys" said Kartik

"same dude and Kitkat you guys all come over na" she said "jaan I am going to take Kairav upstairs he needs a diaper change as well" Naira nodded "haan we will come in 2 minutes" she said " say bye to mumma and masi for me" she nodded

"Shanks jiju thanks for coming" said Naira "your welcome little sis and he is very cute both of them are" he said touching Kittu's cheek but Kittu moved his hand away.

"Kittu that's not nice beta esa nai karti, sorry he is over tired but thanks for coming we will meet up soon bye Rohan" she caressed her nephew's cheek then he went with Rohan to set up the car seat, her mumma came and spoke with them they had to go somewhere hence left too.

"Naira really is everything ok?" 

"Yeah Piya just balancing both kids and night feeds bas that's it"

"Listen this is a little something from us think of it as a naamkaran gift" she handed her an envelope and told her to open it when they leave and that too with Kartik.

"Di..ok I will thanks" once she said bye she took Kittu and changed his clothes then put him to sleep for a bit she then came Into her room and saw Kartik asleep with Kairav on his chest holding him tight she smiled and let them sleep, she then started getting changed herself.

"Jaan Let me help" he said seeing her struggle.
