"Jaan you take rest" he said trying to make her lie down.

"can we see him atleast where have they kept him?"

"In the baby unit, yeh sogaya I'll take Kittu you take rest" but she held his hand.

"Naira" he cupped her face "your mumma will keep him overnight and I'll stay here with you" he said

"Kartik but Kittu.."

"Jaan tomorrow we will all be at home in our house all four of us hmm" he pressed his forehead to hers,

"He can't get proper sleep here I'll collect him in the morning from your mumma" she finally agreed.

"ok..but I want him back 1st thing" Kartik nodded "hmm jaan" he carried Kittu up he felt bad to tell her another lie.

"so some family is there that's good aur tum your coming back na?" Holding Kittu he came close and kissed her temple "yes baby I'll be back in the mean time please take some rest" she nodded he then left the room.

Kittu was awake again "Doctor here is my son"

"Yes come through" he said he then checked Kittu over, Kartik slipped his t-shirt back on and carried him off the bed.

"Well Kartik he seems perfectly well there is nothing of concern" he said Kartik hugged Kittu

"That's a relief doctor" he kissed his soft cheek. "Although mentally how its effected him we don't know so if it's ok with you can I ask him some questions" he nodded

"Ok sure" he sat down with Kittu on his lap. Kittu was easily distracted with the colour pens he took one from the table.

"Hey Kittu..I am Richard what's your favourite super hero?" He asked

"Batman daddy knows him" he said Kartik kissed the top of his head

"Yes he is great so yesterday what happened why did you go with that man?"

"Bad uncle" said Kittu the doctor spoke more with him and Kittu said what happened from his words he was mostly alone and the man did give him a drink which made him sleep hearing that they took a quick blood test to which he cried and so did his daddy.

"Kittu look at me bacha woh bad uncle is gone now"

"Daddy your my superman I love you" he said then hugged him "I love you meri jaan" Kittu was sleepy and fell asleep on his daddy's shoulder he took him into the corridor area.

"Mumma please make him sleep properly I need to get back to Naira" he said

"Vidya is with the baby she will stay another 10 minutes then visiting time will be over"

"We will go see him then" he said then kissed Kittu's face thereafter walked up towards Naira's ward he went into her room and saw her sleeping he leant down and kissed her temple.

"Mere bacche" she said in her sleep just then he saw Vidya masi at the door, she told him she is leaving now.

"Jaan" he said seeing her awake, she looked and saw the empty crib

"Is he still in the baby unit?" He sat on the edge of the bed

"Yes jaan" he cupped her cheek "but we can go see him" she smiled alittle

"yeah chalo" she said getting up "ahh" she hissed in pain

"you ok?" He said holding her "tum behto I'll just come"

"Here sit down" he said making her sit in the wheelchair then he took her to the baby unit, they were looking for their baby.

"Baby Goenka" they said seeing the incubator, Kartik parked her chair in front and he stood next to her.

"Kairav" she said touching the glass he was sleeping in a diaper with a blanket.

"Mera baby" she said wiping a tear. "What exactly did the dr say that happened?"

"Its ok jaan he is breathing on his own we can take him home tomorrow" he said squeezing her hand. "Baccha" he said touching his little foot through the incubator window where the parent can touch their baby "Baby" she said caressing his little hand "mujhe ise godi mein lena hai aur dher sara pyaar karna hai" hearing her Kartik wiped a escaping tear.

"Hmm jaan mujhe bhi" she looked up "mendak you must be exhausted tum sojao" she kissed his hand "hmm ok shall we go?" She touched his little chest "I don't have the heart to leave him here all alone"

"Mann to mera bhi nai kar raha but if we don't rest then how will we have energy to look after them" she nodded "your right"

"Goodnight baby mumma papa will see you tomorrow" she said caressing his cheek.

"Tomorrow we will take our Kairav home" he caressed his little arm. They then left the baby unit and came back in her room.

"Tum sojao" he helped her into the bed holding his hand she got in" he then kissed her temple.

"I'll see you in the morning"

"I don't want to be alone stay here na" she said holding his hand

"Of course jaan" he said which made her smile a little "come sleep in the bed" he nodded "ok" he got in from the other side her eyes followed him once he was in she leaned on him gently he went to hold her close but she hissed a little

"Jaan sorry pain hora hai?" He said moving away a little. "Hmm i am sore but it's ok" she said pulling him closer.

"We are parents of two kids now can you believe it" she said in a sleepy tone.

"Yah we are blessed he said falling asleep they both did holding each other.

"Hello" Kartik heard a voice and his sleep broke he sat up "Kairav" he said getting up seeing him in the nurse's arms she gave him to him.

"How is my baby is he fine?" The nurse nodded

"Yes he is very well we checked him and his breathing is absolutely fine" Kartik kissed his cheek "that's such good news doctor" he said

"and you can take him home today" she said "he has had his first feed your wife can start his 2nd feed later today"

"It won't happen now his airwaves are cleared" she explained that and a few other things then left the room.

"Naira,jaan look who I've got here" Naira stirred and her eyes opened "Kairav baby" she said eagerly wanting to hold him he placed him in her arms. "Hi baby thank God tum theekh ho" she kissed his cheek and then his forehead.

"I am going to take extra special care of you" she kissed his cheek again "Kartik what did the dr say when can we take him home even I am missing our house" Kartik leaned down and kissed his temple

"Aaj jaan the dr have given you both the clear"

"seriously" he nodded "yes sweetheart" he pushed a loose hair strand behind her ear.

"suna baby papa aur mumma are taking you home today" she smiled at him and then her mendak.

"Jaan tum fresh hojao or do you want to take more rest?"

"Nai honey now I'll get proper rest in our bed only" he nodded "ok I'll go get fresh and be back tab tak you relax with him.

"Hmm ok" she said looking at her baby "I'll be back in a bit"

"Yeah then you can stay with him while I go for a shower"

"Deal jaan" he said he got up from the bed. "See you in a bit" he kissed her cheek and then Kairav's temple

"See you later papa" she said, as he was going he turned and saw her smiling at their son she looked so happy and at ease he always wants her to be like this only.

"Hello mumma how is Kittu?" He asked as he attended the call "that's good the dr said Naira and baby can go home" he continued to talk and then ended the call he will go collect Kittu later because right now he was fast asleep, Kartik quickly had a shower and got fresh then went back to the room.

"Right jaan hand him over its Mr Daddy time now" he said

"Mendak dheere bolo na dekho" she said "shh Kairav" she gently rocked him.

"Oh no..sorry baby" he said "ab kya?" He asked her

"Ab tum ese lo mujhe nane jana hai" she gave him to Kartik "Mr Daddy practice because this will be every night trying to settle him" she said teasingly

"no problem I can do this.jaan woh.. but she shut the washroom door Kairav was still crying.

"They must be on their way.." he said then started adoring Kairav again by showering kisses on his cheeks she smiled seeing this sight.

"Sora hai" he said "I meant by other baby"

"Woh ayega tumhare mumma ke saath" Naira sighed she came close and kissed his cheek "I meant my mendak baby" he looked at her "oh..meaning me"

"Yes of course finally you got it" he sat up straighter liking the attention.

"I am fine" he said in a soft as he came close and was about to kiss her lips

"Kittu" they said in unison and then saw Anjali and Vidya come in behind him.

"mumma" said Kittu "mela baccha" she said cupping his face. "Mumma masi we can go home" she said in excitement they all spoke and then Vidya took Kittu so they can get Kairav ready the dr just wanted to check her blood pressure once more meanwhile Kartik had something to tell Anjali.

"Mumma Naira can never know that Kittu was kidnapped by an old client who she sent down a few years back"

"This was Naira's fault all this time we thought..

"All ok?" He said coming in with the car seat "yes all clear we can go home where is Kittu?

"He is with masi and mumma they will drop him off don't worry" he said she smiled "ok good can you place him in the seat I'll just get his hat from the bag "sure jaan.. hi baby your going home today" he placed him In the seat and Naira put his hat on "snug as a bug" he said seeing him tucked in wearing his baby grow covered in a blanket. "His 1st feed is due at 1pm so soon as we reach home"

"Yeah we should get going" he said "I'll take my bag you take him" Kartik took the seat and they left from there, soon they reached home.

"We are home Kairav" she said they came out of the car and Kartik carried out the seat they then came into the house it felt good to be back, they sat down on the sofa keeping the seat on the table in front of them.

"Welcome home baby" Naira kissed his cheek, to which he woke up to and started crying.

"Oh he must be hungry" she said "I'll take him out" Kartik carried him out and placed him in her godi.

"Bas..bas Kartik can you loosen my dress strap" he helped her she took her boob out to feed him but he wasn't latching on he kept turning his face away.

"Aree come on baby please" she said as his crying got louder "Naira give him here" she nodded because he must have an idea.
