Naira was just in love with her second son, he was fast asleep and she looked at his little face "baby this time mumma and daddy will be with you, he stirred a little she kissed his forehead and that baby smell it was intoxicating. "Bahut jald your big brother will see you baby"

Meanwhile Kartik was waiting for answers "Claire where is Kittu?"

"This is our teaching assistant Emma she just started yesterday Kittu has football practice he must be there"

"But she said he was collected"

"I just had a word with the coach there are 10 kids and Kittu is on the list don't worry they are on there way back now" she said

"Thank you I was getting so worried" he said with relief in his voice, some other parents starting coming there and waiting Luke the team coach came with little 3 to 4 years old kids

" Kittu, Kittu?" Said Kartik looking through the group but he couldn't see him."he isn't with them"

"Wait there I'll just ask Luke" Claire went and spoke to Luke Kartik watched and saw the coach shake his head and then went through his list on paper.

"Kittu was collected"  Kartik turned and saw Emma

"By who, who have you sent my son with damn it!" Claire rushed to Kartik as he had shook Emma

"Calm down" she removed his hands off her.

"Calm down? My son is missing and his daycare who has the responsibility to keep him safe has no idea?" The parents looked on and were a little shaken up as were the kids.

"you all got your kids I am just trying to find my son he is just 3 years old, my wife just gave birth today I am suppose to show up with his big brother" Kartik wiped his tears he didn't want to cry but now he was feeling scared.

"Emma try to remember who did you send him with this is serious now" said Claire whilst other parents came and spoke to Kartik and supported him just then his phone rang.

"Oh God Naira's mumma"

"Kartik beta I called the house no one was answering is everything ok?" She asked

"Yeah mumma all is fine I am just a bit busy um Naira had the baby" he said informing her and then Emma gave him the description of what the man looked like.

"Baby apke daddy and brother abhi naye aye" she said whilst cradling him. "Knowing Kartik he is probably gone to get a dozen balloons, chocolates, teddy bear and included Kittu in the plan" she smiled.

"Mum, masi" he said seeing them both just enter the hospital.

"Beta congratulations" she hugged him "another boy" said Vidya masi who hugged him next.

"Beta we will go see her and Kittu Naira ke saath undar hoga na" Said Anjali

"See her but don't mention Kittu please?" She turned to him.

"Why?"

"Just trust me she is expecting Kittu but he is umm busy" said Kartik seeing his face both women felt worried

"Kartik beta kuch hua hai you can tell us just like Naira you too are important to us" said Vidya but Kartik didn't know how to explain anything.

"Ise kya hogaya Kartik?" Said Anjali they both went behind him.

"Beta where is my grandson?"

"Naira can't know anything ok but well I went to get him from daycare but woh nai tha they don't know where he is even"

"maybe Rose collected him?"

"I wish that were it but I already checked everywhere he isn't anywhere..its been 3 hours Naira will wonder where we are I was suppose get Kittu and come here so he could meet his new brother" he took a long breath Vidya looked to Anjali.

"We will go see her and tell her Kittu was tired from football practice"

"Yes didi exactly kids are like that bolte hai kuch aur mann mein kuch aur don't worry beta"  Kartik nodded "ok then" both woman went to see Naira, Kartik thought atleast they will handle this situation but what about Kittu where is his little boy? today was suppose to be the best day the day have been waiting for.

"Beta? can we come in?"

"Mumma,masi come in" she said whilst cradling her son

"How are you Oh look at him kitna pyara hai"

"Haina Anjali" said Vidya

"Bilkul Ki- Kartik jaisa?

"Mumma.. yeh to Kittu jaisa dikhta hai haina mela baccha your big brother will be here soon" she said "aankhe kab khologe baby?"

"Mumma do you want to hold him "just like Kittu I mean he looks relaxed I don't want to unsettle him" Vidya squeezed her hand when Naira asked the inevitable question "mumma has Kartik reached with Kittu?"

"Beta Kittu na he wanted to go home because he was tired from football practice"

"Oh yah his 1st class tha na koi baat nai he can meet him tomorrow par Kartik woh kaha hai?" She asked. Kartik was pacing up and down the corridor he kept looking at his phone for Information but so far nothing.

"Beta she is asking for you" said Anjali Kartik was hesistant " don't worry we explained to him that Kittu is at home with Rose" he nodded they encouraged him to go inside he stood outside her door she looked so relaxed holding their baby.

"hey jaan" he said shutting the door "you wouldn't believe the traffic i was stuck in" he walked over to her and then kissed her temple  "Its ok your here now na that's all that matters" he sat in front front of on the edge of the bed. "Kairav dekho daddy aye hai" she said

"yes Kairav" he looked at her they had decided this name already "Hi Kairav" he caressed his little hand then leaned down and kissed his soft forehead.

"I am missing Kittu pata hai I was waiting for him to run into the room and straight into my..aree honey woh aankhe khol raha hai" she said "oh to aap papa ka wait kare the"

"Jaan he just looked at me" he felt his eyes moist "my baccha" he said  Naira smiled almost in tears herself. "Lo" he nodded taking him. "Hi baby aap bahut cute ho, 1st time usne aankhe kholi?" She nodded " haan and the 1st face he saw was yours" he smiled admiring him.

"Just like Kittu saw mine the first time achha tell me did Rose say how his day went, did he have a good class actually let's video call him" she said excited

"Jaan wait,video call se special nai hoga na" he said hoping she would drop this idea..she yawned a little.

"Yeh sogaya and jaan tum bhi thakh gaye ho you take rest I'll just be outside with your mumma" she nodded "ok yah" she said in a tired tone.

"I'll just place him in here" he laid him down in the cradle he turned to say something but she fell asleep, he gently exited the room.

"Kartik" they waved him over "that was really hard she wanted to video call Kittu but I made something up how long will we keep this from her"

"As long as you can beta she is weak and her bp has been fluctuating" said Vidya masi Kartik nodded

"Baby kya hua aapko.." Naira got up and picked him up " bas,bas" she tried to make him calm.

"Pata hai kal hum ghar jare hai aur tumhare brother waha hoga aap ke wait kare hai" she cradled him.

"Hi Mr Goenka we will be discharging your wife tomorrow she will be ready to come home both her and the baby are doing great" said the doctor "oh excuse me" she said rushing to another patient.

"Naira aur baby kal ghar aree hai?" He inhaled a sharp breath

"Mein kya karu, kese batao Kittu ke bare mein ke woh kahi kho gaya hai" he said trying to control his tears "kya kaha tumne?" Kartik eyes widened with shock recognising that voice very well.

"Naira you should be resting" said Anjali Kartik turned around seeing her with Kairav in her arms.

"Kartik Kittu kho gaya?" She was confused by the term "Jaan" he held her shoulders "meri baat suno"

"Tumne kaha ke woh Rose ke saath ghar pe hai to phir" just then the baby started crying.

"Beta I'll take him" said Anjali, she took Kairav from her.

"Uska football class tha na tum mazak mein bolre ho na"  Kartik didn't know what to say next..

"Kartik jawab do mein kuch puch rahi hu"

"Jaan please relax your still weak I'll get the nurse

"Mujhe nurse nai chaiye mujhe mera bacha chaiye!" she said with tears threatening her eyes.

"Wait did something happen I mean daycare mein to tha na you went to collect him haina?"

"Naira beta" said her masi but she didn't listen she wanted to know where her son was.

"Jaan woh nai tha daycare mein someone snatched him" he said "the police are looking into it"

"Meaning kidnapped Oh God who.." then she realised "zaroor your step mom ki haath honge isme" she said Kartik was puzzled

"What?"

" I saw her I thought I was imagining it but it's TRUE isne kiya because she blames you for taking her son's life so she wants to take our son's "

"I told you Naira if you went back to him trouble would follow and again it has" said Anjali

"Anjali stop blaming here we don't know if..said Vidya

"It can't be because the daycare said it was a man who collected him"

"Of course then it was your papa he came near my car that day"

'Papa visited Naira when and why didn't she tell me?'

"and usne bola tha ke Kittu ko bol- lo- she trailed off

"Naira!" They all shouted seeing her dizzy "jaan please abhi kuch maat bolo" he held her waist but she continued her words.

"Ke his dada and dadi say hi tumhare dad ne Kittu ko kidnap kiya" she removed his arms off her.

"Mujhe mera Kittu chaiye Kartik tum use wapas lao until t-then don't show me your f-face"

"Naira,Naira" he said as she sagged against his chest "doctor doctor help!" He held her from falling.

"Is she ok ise kya hogaya, Naira Jaan please aankhe kholo" he sat cradling her head in his lap

"I'll check her please stand back" Kartik got up "ise kya hogaya?" Said Anjali  Kartik took Kairav from her."baccha kya hua itna kyu rore ho"

"He's crying alot I'll check him" the nurse took him and the doctor took Naira  on a stretcher.

"Kartik"said her mumma she felt bad for what she said..

"I want to be left alone" he said Seeing him distraught Vidya took Anjali away to the canteen.

'Mujhe mera Kittu chaiye Kartik tum use wapas lao until t-then don't show me your face' Kartik sat down on the chair he kept hearing what she told him on repeat.

"It wasn't suppose to be this way its suppose to be a happy day" he covered his face with his hands "Kittu kaha ho mera bacha where shall I look for you?" Just then the nurse came with Kairav.

"Mr Goenka he is find but your wife is asking for you we can't calm her down and it's his feeding time he needs his mother's milk soon" she said Kartik held Kairav but he was confused about Naira because she just said she didn't want to see him then what happened he went into her room she was again in a hospital gown

"Kartik" she walked to him "Kittu agaya football se? The nurse came in the room

"Aur Yeh baby kaun hai?" she said seeing him holding Kairav "nurse what's wrong with her?"

"I'll get the doctor" she said

 "humara hai yeh Kairav hai" he explained

"No we have a son he is 3 years old" she said just then the baby cried "ise bhookh lagi hai jaan" Naira sat down on the bed like she didn't care.

"Mr Goenka it seems um your wife has had a shock she can't remember certain things but your son needs to have milk please try and get her to feed him" said the doctor "otherwise we have to look at alternatives"

"Kartik Kittu kitne baje araha hai?"

"Jaan is baby ko dekho woh bahut rora hai usko mumma ka doodh chaiye..shh baby bas bas itna mat ro Naira tum sunra hi ho na?"

"To usko uske mumma ko jar kar de avo na"

"Bas mera baccha mumma loves you woh abhi thodi disturbed hai" he said the doctor came back "any luck?" Kartik shook his head. "ok then nurse" he explained they will feed milk through a dropper. Kartik reluctantly nodded "Kartik" she got up from the bed "why are we in this place ghar chale?" She said then leaned her head on his chest her arms wrapped around his waist.

"we will soon" he hugged her frame he felt guilty non of this was her fault, she yawned he walked her to the bed and tucked her in the doctor came back with the baby "sorry Mr Goenka but the baby isn't taking to the dropper your wife needs to feed him he said then left. Kartik was in serious tension he knows normal Naira wouldn't let him suffer for even a nano second.

"Naira please feed him" he thought as they handed him Kairav again "bahut bhookh lagi hai mere bacche ko" he kissed his temple then heard a knock it was her mumma he quickly placed him in the cradle and closed the door letting them sleep.

"Kairav needs milk from his mumma the doctor said it's very important because he needs a feed" he explained further to them. In the room Kairav was crying alot which broke Naira's sleep.

"Alle alle baby kya hua" she carried him up and sat with him on the bed.

"So what will you do..asked Anjali

"Pray hope ke she does, I'll go check on her"

"bas aram se your very hungry" she kissed the top of his head. Kartik walked in and "Bas bas Kittu" tears ran down his face on the one hand he was happy that one son was getting what he needs and on the other hand his other son ka kuch pata nai and Naira hasn't got a clue that this isn't Kittu and can't remember about Kairav.
