"Diwali was nice na celebrating with mumma, masi, piya"

"Hmm jaan" he back hugged her

"Kittu liked the fireworks at 1st but then itna tight se pakda tumhe mera baccha I felt so bad" Kartik kissed her cheek.

"Hmm but he is fine now and still wearing his kurta" he said seeing him sleeping on the sofa.

"Haan I really enjoyed Diwali with my family especially my mendak" she turned and kissed his cheek. "Thank you for all your caring tonight"

"Jaan ese mein thank you that's bad I am your husband so obviously I am going to be there for you" Seriously Kartik didn't let her lift a finger most of the time she was talking with Piya and relaxing, and he took care of Kittu the whole night, he served Naira her dinner too.

"mera baby kaisa hai mumma ko lat mare ke parishan to nai kare ho"he said she smiled  rubbing her belly "nai achha baby hai"

"Oh" the baby just kicked.

"O teri" he said feeling the baby kick

"Dekha baby know my voice so well" he said then turned her he hugged her tightly

"Hmm thank you jaan for making me a papa for the 2nd time" he kissed both her hands "this outfit looks so pretty on my jaan"

(the outfit is what Naira wore last year during ganesh festival)

"Eh mendak thank you kyu bol re ho abhi tum kya bole the?" She asked he held his ears

"sorry" she shook his hand and removed his hands from his ears "I love you so much" she felt a tad bit emotional he cupped her face and took her lips for a kiss, she looped his neck and deepened the kiss.

"Daddy" they broke the kiss

"Ahem Kittu" he said seeing him awake Naira turned, her arms were still around her husband's neck.

"Mumma" he called

"Haan baccha" she said "I'll put him to bed"

"wait,wait" she wiped his lip "my lipstick is all over you Kittu will for sure notice..  bas hogaya honey"

"ok jaan" he smiled then walked over to their son "chalo baccha" he carried him up and Kittu rested his head on his daddy's shoulder "jaan take your vitamins aaj bhul gay na folic acid ki "

"Haan but the rest of them I took sirf yeh bul gaye mein"

 "I know and everyday you are taking my good girl  I'll see you upstairs" he said

"Haan Kartik" she replied she went in the kitchen and had her medicine then came upstairs too the day was a bit tiring..they both got changed and went straight to bed. The next day Naira had an off..

"So mendak prince our birth plan"

"Yes hospital birth" he said

"Right I was reading and people are really into water births mujhe na iss bar water birth karna hai"

"ok..we are seeing yout doctor today let's see what she advises actually we should leave to beat the traffic"

"Yes, chalo" she got up from the table and they left the kitchen he handed her, her water bottle then they left.

"We are here" he said and then raced to her side he held her hand and they walked to the health centre, Dr Charlotte greeted them. She reviewed Naira's blood pressure everything was good with her health then she took a seat next to Kartik.

"good your drinking lots of water keep doing that" said dr Charlotte

"You can give that credit to my husband" she turned to him  he is always reminding me" she lovingly squeezed his hand and smiled at him. "He is the best" she smiled he took her hand and kissed it.

"Keep doing that Car-tik now birthing plan" she opened her laptop.

"So let's start with what kind of birth you want"

"Water birth" she said in excitement

"ok for that you can do it in.. she picked up a leaflet "these are the water birth centre we use or here the hospital pool is an option?"

"Dr water birth um it's safe na I know the baby will be under water" he asked

"Its safe yes, all pregnancy have a slight risk do you want to think about it?" Naira nodded "yeah" the dr nodded "ok your birthing partner?some people have their mums, best friend um..

"I'll have my best friend which is husband with me" she said

"Yeah I missed Kittu's there is no way I am missing my 2nd kid's one" dr smiled and noted that down. "ok husband it is, now if you are keen on a water birth here is a booklet you can look through Naira took the booklet and flipped through it.

"I can wear a bikini or a t-shirt in the water or nothing?"

"Most women feel comfortable wearing nothing because clothes can be a bit uncomfortable"

"I'll think about that..no painkillers?"

"yes that is one of the downsides you can't have any before getting in the water" she said

"I'll tell you what take this booklet home we still have time to fill this plan out I'll be seeing you again soon and if you have any questions call me any time I'll also e-mail the plan" she said to Naira who clearly looked confused "other than that enjoy your pregnancy"

"Dr just say we um at the last minute decide to not do a water birth" asked Kartik

"That is fine you know what your baby will tell you if thinks run smoothly during the next few months then the water birth is fine but if the baby's position changes then you can't do the water birth option but don't worry think are going well with your pregnancy Naira"

"Thank you dr" she said then left with Kartik..

"Naira Kartik came to the door seeing her walk in he immediately took her bag.

"Nursery is complete David and his team is asking us to see it, I told him as soon as my wife gets home"

"They are done that was fast itni jaldi kar bhi di let's go I am excited" she walked a bit fast.

"Aree your 7 months now thoda sambhal ke jaan" she nodded "haan your right chale?" They were excited to see the nursery David led them through.

"Oh wow it's really nice I love it"  she said looking around.

Naira thanked David and Kartik saw him out, Naira was looking around she touched the frame of the crib and smiled she rubbed her belly the thought of a small baby sleeping in this soon excited her.

"I think they did an amazing job said Kartik

"Me too humari baby ise nini karega this room feels cosy" Kartik put his hand over hers

"Hmm jaan humara chotu" he put his hand on her belly and rubbed it "baby" they hugged excited for their future.

"Didi saath mahne hogaye ab Naira ki godbharai karni chaiye"

"HaanAnjali you are right" said Vidya "I'll call Naira..

"Haan ok mumma sunday theekh rehega because I have work on Monday yah ok bye see you then" 

"Who was that" he said holding Kittu in his arms they were just playing in the garden.

"Mumma her and masi want to do my godbharai and that too this sunday" she said

"Han 7 months hogaye great it should be fun kaha par?" He asked

"At her house she said she will organise it me and Kittu just need to reach there" she replied

"ad me" she shook her head "honey ladies ka function hai men not allowed" she said and then laughed at his dropped face.

"Aww but come for lunch.. she held his face "aree I am kidding!" She said he looked at her

"Kya jaan" he said then pulled her close. "Listen let's go upstairs and see what we should wear nani ne jo beja those outfits will work" she said they went in the guestroom where they kept the new outfits and selected clothes for themselves and Kittu sunday came fast Kartik admired Naira getting mehendi applied on her hands she sweetly caught glimpses of him gazing at her. Her mumma and masi filled her chunni and whispered lovely things in her ear.

"What are saying they to my mumma" asked Kittu he was sitting in his daddy's godi. "Ke hum sab ki baby healthy aur swast aye" Kittu just looked confused. "Mumma ki mehendi acchi haina aapko bhi lagani hai?" He teased Kittu by nuzzling his cheek "nai" he said feeling ticklish Kartik kissed his cheek."ok beta" he held him close the rasam came to an end.

"Kartik come beta" said Anjali "Kittu ko Varun ke paas bethado" Kartik did that and came to Naira they played some games then later they took photos together.

"Bas aur nai" she said eating from his hand.

"Jaan just one more bite you need to eat properly" she nodded and took another bite of kachori.

"Bas hogaya do you want to drink anything?" She shook her head

"I am ok for now" she replied "your so caring" she caressed his jawline the afternoon was coming to an end they had a lovely day!

Naira came home "honey I am here"

" jaan" he hugged her "listen I bought you a really beautiful dress please wear it" he said wiih a pout

"ok..are you feeling ok?"

"Hmm jaan you wear and come" Naira  nodded and to their room.

"Oh it's very pretty aur yeh but why oh maybe Kartik wants to take me to dinner yay I can do with that after the day I just had! She applied little make up and unlocked the door.

"haaye" he said seeing how beautiful she was looking.

Her look

"Tum?"

"Hmm i thought you may need help coming down the stairs "haan" she replied he helped her down the stairs "jaan I want to get something from the main room"

"ok.." she walked with him.

"surprise!" Said her friends Naira's jawdropped at the sight

"What's all this"

"What you think we wouldn't throw you a baby shower" said Sasha

"Baby shower?" She turned "honey you knew this right"

"Surprise jaan" he kissed her cheek yes Maya called me and so did Sasha both asking when to do your shower"

"Do you like it?" Asked her friends she held his waist

"I love it!" She looked around the main room looked pretty.

"Boy or girl..cute" she said seeing the sign.

"Right I am going to be back in a bit" he said

"Oh but why?"

"Its a girl thing I'll be back later you enjoy with your friends"

"ok bye" they shared a quick kiss and he left. Naira started enjoying with her friends they went outside.

"Oh wow you guys went to so much efforts"

"Maya did this am I right?" Naira hugged her friend

"Thank you all of you for making me feel so special they were all enjoying lunch they then went and gave Naira gifts she opened some  she loved all the baby outfits and essential things for her baby to be but now she was missing Kartik.

"Where is the one who did this to me" she said holding her bump, just then he came  through the door she stood up.

"finally your here!" She said standing up seeing his Sherni he smiled straightening his shirt collar he walked over to her.

"Guys photo please" said one friend they posed for her friends yes these will go straight on social media.

"Guys this guy is my rock my Kartik is just the best and well I can't wait to be a mumma again to our baby" she turned to him. "Me too jaan" he put his lips on hers keeping it short but Naira wanted to keep it lingering.

"Ahem baby your friends.." he got shy.

"They are fine guys please enjoy cake and ice cream" she wanted to be alone with him for a minute she looped his neck "aaj na tum par zyada pyar araha hai"

"Accha" he held her waist. "Hmm when everyone leaves.." she whispered something in his ear" Kartik immediately turned beetroot red.
