"Are you excited dude you will be a big bro" he nodded looking to Kartik

"mera baby" said Naira caressing his little cheek he smiled up and hugged her bump. "Hello baby" he said against her belly. Kartik and Naira exchanged a sweet smile. Kartik then got up.

"Kittu" she held his little hand "did you have fun with nani" he nodded as she walked with him to the couch. "I'll just place the new photos in the book"

"Yeah honey"

Kartik took the baby book of their unborn baby and placed the new ultrasound photos writing scan at 20 weeks he then looked over to Naira who was reading with Kittu, he admired his Sherni and little sher Kittu asked Naira something and Naira corrected the word for him.

"How much he looks like her its unbelievable so beautiful" he said on seeing Kittu getting the word right Naira smiled.

"Yay well done high five" Kittu with a smile high fived his mumma.

"Kitna clever hai humara Kittu" he said coming to them. "Haan" she said looking at him and then to their little one. "Honey I need to make some phone calls for Piya's baby shower you sit with him" Kartik sat with Kittu whilst she called the numbers that her mumma gave she called 8 friends and invited them for the baby shower luckily Vidya masi sorted out the venue for them. After a few hours she had sorted all the things for the event.

" thank you for taking the order at the last minute" she hung up.

"Aree" she said feeling him back hug her.

"Your up here then Kittu?"

"I fed him his lunch and he is having a nap now" he moved her hair to one side. "Honey?" she said feeling his lips kiss her neck. "Hmm? you look so sexy in this dress"

"look right now I can't get distracted I have to call a client about tomorrow" she pushed him away.

"Jaan meri baat to suno"  he called "nai mujhe pata hai what you want but right now I am busy" he shook his head with a coy smile ruffling his hair.  The next day Naira had to go work and Kartik was minding Kittu.

That evening..

"I sorted Kittu's clothes for tomorrow what are you.." his words trailed off seeing her wearing a mango colour sari.

"How am I looking?" She asked seeing his reflection in the mirror. "Will it be fine for the Puja in the morning?"

"Sherni marnee ka iraada hai kya" he said tiptoeing towards her, she smiled to herself he turned her by the chin and they kissed. "I love you" he said then  rubbed the tip of his nose to hers.

"Listen wear sindoor tomorrow hmm" 

"Hmm once I am ready you apply it?"

"Yes jaan"

"What time will you guys come?" she asked as the Pooja was only for women only

"Around 1pm" he replied "yah that will be fine" she said the next morning Naira got up had her bath and then got ready in her sari, she started curling the ends of her hair.. When did her hubby wake up she didn't know.. Naira was spraying her perfume and then she went to her drawer to get her make up out she wore her make up just the lipstick was left. "Mein kuch help kardo?" He asked holding her wrist, he then turn her towards him. "Good morning baby" he said caressing her bump.

"Good morning jaan" he came close and kissed her lips "good morning honey" she caressed his cheek.

 "now you can apply the lipstick" he said after getting his kiss  "Kartik can you get my heels from the walk in" she said

"Tum heels pehnogi?" He asked her.. "haan.." she said casually "but I'll wear them when I reach downstairs. " ok but just be careful..

"Kartik you worry too much" she commented when he walked her downstairs. "I'll be fine" she said holding his hand whilst wearing the heels. "Stop you sit on the stairs mein pehna deta hu" she nodded he place both heels on her feet. "Done?" She asked " hmm"

"Its nearly 10am I told mumma I would reach by 9:30"

"and I worry too much? It's fine your mumma knows your pregnant actually I'll drop you off"

"But Kittu?"

"He is asleep Rose will be fine for a bit I'll just let her know" he went in the kitchen and informed her then came back and put his shoes on "chale?"

"Hmm" she said "actually aren't you forgetting something.."  he smiled taking the sindoor dabi from her, taking a pinch he filled her mang. " thank you" she said he cupped chin and kissed her temple "my babies are so lucky to have you" she said

"Ditto jaan" they then left and they reached her mumma's house fast. "Bye honey see you at 1pm" she said "see you have fun" they shared a quick kiss then she left the car. " beta come you look lovely" said Vidya Naira followed inside.

"Piya" squealed Naira seeing her sitting on a decorated seat.

"Naira your here!" She said both girls hugged. Kartik reached home he had a quick shower then he got busy with some stuff he thereafter went to see Kittu. "Come on baccha" he carried him up. "Bath time" Kartik got Kittu ready and then they both left to go to her mumma's house. The godbharai finished nicely, at 1pm Kartik arrived with Kittu.

"Hello beta come in" Anjali greeted them both, Naira saw Kartik "Kartik come I'll get your plates ready, hi Kittu Piya masi wants to see you" she said Kartik gave him to her. "Come" she said he followed behind them

"Hey kitkat" said Piya Naira placed him down and held his hand. He was too excited to see her "careful baby Piya has a baby in her tumtum" said Naira.

" kittu with a smile said "mumma has too in her tumtum"

"Exciting na.. Kittu will have two two babies to play with" said Naira " yah kitkat will be a big bro" she said then kissed his cheek. The place was surrounded with mainly women thank God Kartik had Piya's husband for company they were eating lunch together. "Not long now dude you must be counting the days na" said Kartik

"Like you wouldn't believe" he replied. "Daddy" said Kittu

"Yes my baccha" he came and sat on his lap for like a few seconds and then he was off again to find his mumma. "Kittu" said Anjali hugging him.

"Nani baby in Piya Masi's tumtum" he said Nani smiled "yes my love"

"Daddy put it" he said Naira heard this she felt embarrassed seeing everyone looking here and there especially the older ladies Anjali didn't know what to say and let Naira deal with it. "Kittu" she took his hand

"Nai baby daddy only put in mumma's tumtum" she had to clear his misunderstanding. "my baccha must be hungry where is daddy?" She said looking around, he was quiet which meant she cleared his misunderstanding, she went and saw Kartik having lunch in the garden.

"What does Kittu want to eat?"

"Daddy put a baby in mumma's tumtum" he said

"Kittu..bas beta we all know this na..do you want kheer?" Kittu started jumping up and down.

"Daddy put a baby in mumma's tumtum, "Daddy put a baby in mumma's tumtum" Kartik saw them from a distance.

"Hey all ok?" he asked seeing her roll her eyes. "You tell me..

"Kittu?" She said

"Daddy put a baby in mumma's tumtum" he repeated to Kartik

"Yes he did" he said making her look at him in shock he then pulled Naira by the arms "and what fun we had doing it jaan" he said in a husky tone. "Kartik" she gently removed his hands. " kya bol re ho" she scolded and blushed at the same time.

"and what fun we.." repeated Kittu

'Oh shit if Kittu completes that sentence I am a dead man' he thought.

"Baccha" he held his little face. "We h..? Kittu tried to remember but then..

 "Daddy put a baby in mumma's tumtum?" He asked his son  Naira thought what is her mendak doing! just then Anjali called her. "Ayee mumma, you stay with daddy and Kartik"

 "jaan I'll make him have lunch don't worry"

 "Daddy put a baby in mumma's tumtum" said Kittu "this is your doing fix it" she said walking off.

"Kittu listen daddy did put baby in mumma's tumtum but it's a secret ok between mumma, daddy and Kittu" he said "so beta shh"

"Shh ok daddy" he said then Kartik hugged him and carried him up  then went to make his plate up for lunch. Naira had just finished her lunch with Piya and the other girls they were just talking babies and stuff in general, shortly they left from there and came back home. Naira got changed again and then Kartik dropped her off to the venue where Naira hosted the baby shower for Piya, Piya was very happy to see all her friends later Kartik came to pick her up.

(I didn't give detail of piya's baby shower saving that for Naira's)

"ok Kartik is here bye girl" said Naira hugging Piya and also saying bye to her friends. Naira got in the car.

"How was it?" He asked

"She loved it I am so glad we did this for her" seeing her smile made his fa e light up. "I missed you there" she leaned in and put her lips on his.

She really appreciated all his help today he cushioned her head kissing her slowly, they broke it after for some air.

"My handsome mendak" she said whilst wiping the lipstick off his lips.

"my hottie sherni you look beautiful in this outfit" he said they both shared another kiss then he drove them home.

Naira was leaving for work she was crossing to go over to her car when another car came speeding.

"what the hell!" she yelled she came in the house she saw Kartik and thought she should tell him but she just wanted to forget what happened maybe it was just a coincidence.

"Hey jaan" he called as the door slammed. "look what I have for you"

"Chaat yay!" she took the bowl from his hand.

"Slow down you will get a stomach ache, come and sit" he sat her down "yum"

"Mujhe bi do" he said opening his mouth

"no its mine" she said he chuckled leaning his head on her shoulder, then he placed his ear to her belly.

"Baby when will you start kicking?" he asked she caressed his hairs

"Patience my love" she placed the empty bowl to the side, he lifted his head up.

"Jaan when did Kittu start kicking?"

"Um..1st time was during an exam he made his presence known" she giggled at the memory. Kartik was quiet she took his head. "Listen I am enjoying this pregnancy more because we are doing it together" he smiled at her words he bent down and kissed her bump.

"Jaan how was work today?" His question reminded her of the incident telling him will just unnecessarily worry him.

'Shall I tell her that i met my dad again or just wait..'

"Jaan look here" he gave her the leaflet distracting both their thoughts

"antenatal classes?" She said seeing it.

"Yeah I signed us up something we both can do it will be fun" he said

"Yeah we should give it a try" he saw her enthusiasm and kissed her cheek.
