"Jaan" he repeated softly at her lack of response he then turned her.

"Hey your crying did I do something? or baby?" He touched her belly worried.

"Sorry" she wiped her tears "everything is fine baby is fine it's just my hormones I am crying I don't even know why" she said "aww mera baby" he hugged her.

"I think seeing that mumma with her kid I just miss our one I hope woh hume bhul na jaye" he cupped her face

"Pagal ho kya? of course he won't forget us, we are going back tomorrow and we will see our son very soon woh humara baccha hi  hai" she nodded in agreement

"I love you" she said he gently pressed his lips to her temple. "Love you more" she smiled at his words and they hugged tightly. The next day they woke up early and went for shopping.

"Jaan yeh cute hai" he said holding a newborn's dress. Naira turned to him from another section of  clothes "aww yeh bahut pyara hai, aur yeh kesa hai?" She asked him holding a cute girl and boy's clothes he smiled.

"Our baby is going to look so adorable in all of these jaan" he said he then placed his hand on her belly. "I am so excited for your arrival baby" she held his wrist and nodded they did alot more shopping excited for their future baby. They then came back to their room and finished their packing actually Kartik insisted to do most of it whilst she rested so whilst she was asleep he did it. "Time is flying we need to be at the airport but my jaan is still sleeping" he went over

"Jaan" he kissed her cheek she stirred alittle. " hmm?" Her lids fluttered

"Its time to go" he caressed her cheek "ok" she said sitting up yawning "mujhe washroom jana hai" she  got up and also took her hair brush. Kartik scanned the room to check they have got everything, shortly Naira came out of the room.

"You ok?" He asked her she smiled "yeah" she encircled his waist "thank you so much for giving me such a memorable beautiful babymoon honey" she placed her lips on his kissing her husband she felt so lucky to have him, she cupped his chin and looked at him.

"I am so lucky ke my husband is the best" he removed she hands and took them in his. "My wife is better" they both laughed and cupped each others face and shared a sweet kiss, shortly they reached the airport and slept mostly on the flight,finally they reached back to New York City.

"Home sweet home" she said stepping in.

"Let's get change come " she said they both went upstairs Kartik landed on the bed, seeing him Naira went next to him.

"Change nai karna?" He nodded with his eyes clothes

"Hmm in a bit I can never sleep peacefully on flights" he said

"Tell me about" she went into his arms.

"Kittu ko kab lene jaiye?" She asked in a sleepy tone

"Its early and he is probably having his afternoon nap" said Kartik

"Like his mumma and daddy" she said  they both drifted off after a few hours Naira got up and had a bath letting her mendak sleep..

"Yes mumma 6pm is fine I'll see you then" she hanged up the call.

"Kartik utho" she said "hmm jaan" he said turning to his side.

"Oi mendak, mumma called Kittu is coming in half an hour" she said his eyes flew open. He got up immediately. "I am up" he rubbed his eye.

"Good I just has my bath tum bhi karlo" he got up and walked lazily towards the washroom. Naira turned to get something from the drawer she was wearing jeans and a maternity  lose top with her hair open.

"Tum bhi avo na" he said in a husky tone. She felt her mendak's arms around her  "hum saath mein nate hai" Naira's cheeks went red, she smiled at his comment and turned removing his hands

"Ji nahi, mumma will be here soon" she pushed him back."jaan.." he tried to hold her again.

"jaldi karo honey I'll be downstairs" she said leaving his arms, soon he was fresh and came downstairs just then the doorbell rang.

"Kittu" they said in unison Kartik opened the door. "Hi is Naira here?" Kartik couldn't recognize the woman. " 'kaun hai..yeh'

"Oh my gosh hi!!" said Naira hugging the woman. Kartik thought yeh hai kaun hai as he didn't recognise her at all.

"Hey Naira" Naira saw the girl.

 "this is Leah? she has grown up"

"16 years old I know" said her mum. Naira was so glad to see her neighbours have come back.

"Just one sec, Kartik honey" she called seeing that he had shifted to the back, mother and daughter exchanged a look

"This is my husband and Kittu's daddy Kartik, baby  this is Grace and her daughter Leah they just came back to New York" Leah smiled when Kartik shaked her hand.

"Your husband he was alive then?" Naira nodded to Grace.

"Long story..but yes it's all good" exclaimed Naira in a happy tone.

"wow Naira sweetie that is great" she hugged her again Grace was fond of Naira she helped with Kittu when he was little they became good friends when Naira use to work Grace helped look after Kittu she is a neighbour everyone wished they had. "and Kittu how is he the last time we saw him he was a baby" she said

"He is great and what are you two talking about" said Grace to Leah and Kartik.

"It seems Leah is going to be besties with my husband"

"Mum Kartik works on tv,I  knew it i found his face familiar Karvin Goe" she said smiling at him

" honey you have a fan"  said Naira and they all laughed Naira invited them in but they had other plans so agreed to meet in the week.

"They seem nice by the way Leah's dad not with them?" He asked Naira explained her past to him. "Poor girl but her mum seems to have done a good job kitni pyari bacche hai" said Kartik

"Yes agree she is very sweet" said Naira the bell rang again

"He is here!" Said Naira squeezing his hand. They both attended the door. "Mera baby!" She exclaimed as he was curled up in his nani's arms. "We just wake up from our nap" said Anjali.

"How are you beta" she said "mumma" Naira hugged her "Kese ho beta" said Anjali hugging Kartik next.  "come in" said Naira, Kittu was shyly watching them..

"Kittu deko mumma?" She said holding her hands out to him, Kittu looked to Kartik and then to her he was looking so cute wearing a batman shorts and t-shirt with black and red colour.

"Avo mumma ke paas" she said she just wanted to hug her baby.  "Kittu mumma" said Anjali, Kittu smiled leaning out to her.

"Mera baby" said Naira as he came into her arms " she hugged him tightly " and kissed his cheeks several times. "Dekho daddy" said Naira "kesa hai mera baccha" Naira wiped her tear seeing Kartik hugging him.

"Did you both have fun come mumma I'll make us some tea" Naira went with her mumma to the kitchen. "Yes Kittu loved playing with Varun" Naira smiled hearing that.

"Valu mama ke saath" Naira mimicked Kittu and they both of them laughed.

"How was your trip and baby kesa hai? everything is good na" Naira nodded "bahut maza aya and baby is fine I have my 20 week scan the day after tomorrow" she said meanwhile Kartik was playing with Kittu.

"Daddy daddy catch me" he squealed happily when Kartik did catch him. "Aww mera baby we missed you alot" he hugged him from the back and kissed his cheek.

"Sunday Piya ke godbharai that's great I am so happy that she too will finally experience the bliss of being a mumma"

"Yes beta me too we will make it special for her"

"yes mumma we will, also I want to organise a baby shower for her as well but I need a list of her friends.

"Brilliant idea I can do get that for you" said Anjali. "Your tea is ready come let's have it in the front" they both went and drank it in the main room. "Mumma" he hugged her leg "beta careful nani has hot tea" she said referring to her mumma holding the tray but to him it sounded like a telling off because she expressed it in a stern tone he started crying. "Aree baby kya hua" she bent down and carried him up. "Jaan be  careful" he said seeing her carrying him up. "Its ok light weight hai"  he nodded. Kittu kept crying.

"Bas,bas beta mumma didn't mean to" she then sat down rocking him back and fourth rubbing his little back his legs were wrapped around her waist her tea got cold. Kartik went over to them. "Is he ok?" He asked. "Guys I am going to go" said Anjali

"I'll call you later" she gestured with her hand to her mum and Kartik saw her mumma out.

Kittu looked up at her she saw his face with tears  "Mumma is sorry" she said and kissed his temple. Kartik walked back in. "Kittu mumma ko kissie doge?" she said turning her cheek to him,  Kartik came and sat next to her. "Right Kittu mumma ko 1st kissie kon dega Kittu ya phir daddy?" Naira smiled at Kartik in that instant Kittu kissed her cheek and Kartik kissed her other one.

"oho two two kissies aren't I lucky" she smiled at her mendak. She then looked to Kittu.

"Juice" he said, "daddy will bring for you" said Kartik,  he came back and saw Naira asleep with him, he smiled and put a blanket on them.

"Everthing is normal" said the nurse doing her ultrasound scan "a healthy growing baby" Naira squeezed Kartik's hand they were relieved to hear their baby is doing well and growing normal. He looked down and pecked her lips. "By the way do you want to know the gender" the nurse asked.

" you can tell?" Asked Naira in surprise.

"You know" the nurse smiled "yes do you both want to know" Naira looked at him.

"Surprise?" She asked he nodded "surprise jaan"

"not right now we want to keep it a surprise" she told the nurse, the nurse smiled and then wiped the gel off her belly Kartik pushed her dress down, shortly they took the photos and video then left for home. He held her hand as they walked to the car

"Mumma and daddy are home"said Rose.

"Where did you go?" he asked holding both their hands and hugged between them. They  both with their free hand caressed his cheek.

"Jaan let's tell him" Naira nodded "Kittu aapko baby chaiye na?" Kartik came down to his level and held him around the waist "baby chaiye na choti si?" He nodded eagerly.

"Baby where is it?" he smiled Kartik turned to Naira "yaha Kittu mumma ke tumtum mein" because that's what Kittu says to his belly tumtum

"Isme" said Kartik he took his little hand and placed it on her bump.

"How did it get in there?"

"Daddy put it in there" said Kartik without even thinking.

'Great mendak you just opened yourself up to many more questions'

'Sorry it probably went over his head' he thought looking up at her

"Aap excited ho?" he nodded

"Hello baby this is Kittu" he then kissed Naira's belly Kartik looked up and they both felt overwhelmed at this beautiful moment.
