I was going update my touch.. but people wanted this update more i can understand why here you go

Was this really happening to me again?.I thought as I walked with the lady up the stairs..she kept saying sorry for your loss..if he is gone then it's not possible that I am still breathing..

"No,I just need a minute please!"

The woman nodded with a sympathetic look. I took a deep inhale, and held my tears in because I..  I..

"I'll just be back" she said

I started walking frantically on the ward..pacing up and down gathering my thoughts..what the hell is going on none of this feels real! I don't know where I started going passing many wards my mind was just avoiding what I had to do I kept walking then suddenly I stopped..and lifted up a curtain and there he was on the bed!

"Kartik!" She screamed as she threw herself on him.

"Naira?" He said hugging her tiny frame.. she almost knocked him to the ground luckily he held the bed he was seated on.

"Jaan,tum yaha?" He said confused..then she cupped his face.

"Tum thekh hona" she said with tears of relief in her eyes. He nodded

"mujhe laga ke tum hume chod ke kahi door aur..

"Calm down jaan..mein theekh hu" he said wiping her tears.

"Leken tum yaha New Orleans mein, it's so dangerous jaan, when did you come and how did you know" he said holding her waist

"I don't know if I should kiss you or slap you mendak" she said removing his hands off her. Kartik got up, he had no idea what she was told obviously there was some miscommunication.

"Jaan i-" he said

"You know when someone will tell you I'm no more in this world!"

"Naira ese shabhd mujhe kabhi tumhare muh se nahi suna" he snapped

"Then you will know how I feel, when the police officer told me this!" She said with tears.

"Jaan come here.. please" he held her hand, but she let go of it

"We were looking for you, ready?" The lady asked her and Kartik was puzzled

"For, what this is my husband who is very much alive!" She snapped feeling really angry. The police offer came behind her.

"Oh but this is your stuff right?" He said

"Yes officer,I let my colleague have it so he could escape " said Kartik

"Oh yes you saved his life. ma'am your husband is a hero, I apologise for the misunderstanding" Naira remained quiet. They left leaving Kartik and Naira alone.

"So you, risked your life to save someone else's? hero more like stupid" she said feeling very annoyed with him and at this point she didn't care if he didn't liked her words..

"I get it your angry with me I understand-

"I came here because I heard you were in danger, and I was told that you were dead angry doesn't even begin to cover it!" She said her tone still annoyed. Kartik thought it's best to give her some place she is really angry with him. He started to wear his shirt again..

 "Ouch" he said trying to button it.

"What happened to your hand?" She said seeing a plaster on his index finger.

"(Tut) she straightened his collars "leave it I'll do it" she said she started to button his shirt up.

"In all this did you even think of me forget me then, atleast Kittu, your son" she said as she buttoned the last one.

"Naira" he held her hands "Jaan please"

"Jaan hu na tumhari, to tum bhi meri jaan ho Kartik" she said sniffing, and then let go of his hands

"Jaan please listen I need you to go back home and be safe"

" yes chalo let's go home" she held his hand

"I-I can't, not yet anyway" he said, he knew she would flip!

"what the hell! Are you out of your mind!

"Naira please some members are still missing they are counting on me" he said

"Fine then I'll stay with you" she said sitting down on the chair and folded her arms.

"Sherni.." he said "ok fine I won't go to help I'll come home with you ab khush?" He said but got nothing from her in response.

"We can leave tomorrow morning, tonight we will have to stay in a hotel where I am staying" he said

"Fine whatever let's go then" she said getting up, they both left from there, the entire drive she didn't utter a word. Kartik gave his name at reception and got his card, the booking was done by his work team, it was a good hotel and on the safe side of New Orleans.

"It's quite nice na?" He said as he took her bag into the room and closed the door "Yeah we should come for holiday the next time your in danger" she said

"Don't be like that come here.." he said taking her in his arms

"no, leave me, yes I came with you but that doesn't mean I'm speaking with you" she said making a distance.

"Jaan kaha na that I am sorry,I even agreed to come home with you instead of helping.."

"You say it like you did me a favour" she snapped

"I'll order room service what do you want to eat jaan"

I'm not hungry so..

'No Naira your issue is with Kartik, what about your unborn child if you are pregnant then you should eat properly'

"I'll have something light like pasta" she said, the dinner came Kartik made all efforts to fix her mood but she didn't budge they ate in silence he was only hearing his voice.

"Naira please talk with me" he said

"I'm tired Kartik I just want to sleep" she said taking her night dress and went into the washroom.Kartik got changed outside,they both got into bed she was laying on her side.

"sweet dreams jaan" he kissed her temple. She was just about to turn and they did at the same time their lips touched for a second. Kartik went to caress her cheek but she turned the other way, she was still not talking with him. She heard him sigh deeply, she closed her eyes trying to ignore him. She is angry with him but she still loves him to the moon and back! He gently placed his hand on her waist, she moved it, a few seconds later it was back there again. This time she left it, she caressed his wrist briefly, then when he  made movement she got out of the bed.

"I'm going for a shower I can't sleep" she took her things and went in the washroom. She got in the shower and the water started trickling on her face and neck, she didn't know when she started crying..today had been difficult, thinking that she won't see him again those few seconds shook her whole world up! She felt a light touch on her shoulder she knew that touch all too well.

"Leave me Kartik" she said removing his hand, but he pulled her by her waist, and hugged her back.

"I'm sorry jaan for worrying you, i can't imagine what that misunderstanding put gout through,please talk to me" he said, Naira started melting like ice in his arms, she sighed.

"Thank God tumhe kuch Hua nai mein maarhi jati" she said and he turned her slowly to him, her tears were still coming, he shook his head. "Esa maat bol, we are going to grow old together I promise hum humare pota poti ki shaadi karvayenge"

"Promis na?" She said looking into his eyes.

"I love you so much" he said with his own tears about to spill now she herself couldn't take the distance between them, she took him in a hug.

"I love you more" she said hugging him tightly, their naked bodies caressed in an intimate embrace.

"Woh meri line hai jaan" he said which made her smile.

"Mujhe pata hai" she said with a slight giggle, now they both faced each other.

"I am so lucky to have you as my wife, seriously jaan" he took her in a hug and she held him around his waist,resting her cheek on his pec. He then cupped her face and kissed her temple, Naira closed her eyes just enjoying his actions, he then kissed both her cheeks slowly lovingly. They slowly started kissing each other her hand started massaging his nape, her actions was making him relaxed.. he gently pinned her to the wall, and started to stroking across her belly. Naira's eyes opened and she broke the kiss.

"I've missed us in these few days" he said with love in his eyes. Naira turned away.

'What if I'm pregnant, is it safe for our baby, i've never been in this kind of situation before..I need to consult the doctor 1st..

Kartik is not getting it.. she felt wet kisses on her nape.

"Kartik, baby we can't please I.um.." she said trying to figure out what to say..

"You must be tired koi baat nai, we don't have to right now" he said understanding her wishes.

"We can just hug hmm.. he said taking her in his arms again.. "and I will help you bath, acche se, nothing more" she smiled "ok"

"Good girl" he said then took the shower gel and started applying on her back.

"How was Kittu" he said whilst applying the shower gel all over her back.

"Mumma ke saath hai,he is ok don't worry" she said sweetly.

"Turn around I'll apply um..ahem" she saw him looking at her chest, getting distracted.

"Actually mein karti hu tumhare liye" she took the gel and  rubbed it between her palms, she started applying  it on his chest..but Naira this isn't helping your husband either, those delicate hands roaming on his chest.

"actually jaan" he held her wrists.   "I um can do it" he said she looked at him confused then noticed something.. she started blushing when she say his lower package.

"ok I'll just um be here and you um you can stay on that side, they both started to apply the gel on themselves and then rinsed off together under the shower head. Briefly helping each other to rinse off and one they were gel free, started kissing again under the water.

They had a innocent shower no naughty business,because she thinks she is pregnant anotherwise you know there wouldn't be stopping it 🙈😜

"Now I'm feeling relaxed I needed that shower" she said getting back into bed,

"You?" She said rubbing his chest, he held her in his arms

"I'm happy that you are relaxed that's all that matters to me" he kissed her forehead and they fell asleep.

The  next day they took an early flight back to New York, they were back at home, she went to get fresh..she got changed then remembered

"The test..she picked it up, she went to check it..

"pregnant,hum pregnant hai" she smiled and touched her belly.

"Jaan aunty ka phone aya she will drop Kittu off in 15 minutes" he said near the stairs

"Yeah ok I'm coming, I'll tell him once I've confirmed with the doctor" she placed the test in her drawer. She got her phone out..

"Hi Charlotte it's me Naira I wanted to see you, do you have any available slots today?" Oh you do..now? Yeah ok I'll be there in 20 minutes ok..thank you bye" she put her phone in her purse.

Kartik was sitting on the sofa, "babe I'm just popping out for a few minutes" she said standing in the door way.

"Everything ok na? I'll come with you" he said getting up

"no someone has to be home for Kittu..I won't be long" she said, he came forward

"ok jaan take care" he kissed her lips

"Yeah see you in a bit" she said.

Once she got out she touched her belly and smiled

Naira the dr Charlotte can see you now" Naira got up and walked through the maternity ward.

"Hey Naira nice to see you,  take a seat long time hmm, tell me what can I do for you?"

"I um I think I'm pregnant, actually I um most definitely think so" she said with a smile

"ok that's great have you taken a test?"

"Yah I took a home test and it was positive and I've been vomiting for sometime, but I wanted to make sure before I tell my husband"

"You got married congratulations" said dr

" thank you" she said then told Naira that she needs to do a test, she got changed in a blue gown.

"ok um so I'll do a internal check if you can just lie down here and I will check what's going on. Naira nodded and her gynaecologist did her check up.

"Yes your definitely pregnant congratulations" she said then removed her gloves.

"You get dressed and then come take a seat". Naira got changed and sat opposite her dr.

"Ok I want to book you in for a scan, just to see how everything is going,I'm sure it's fine it all looks normal..so when can I book you in for?" Actually we can do it now if your not rushing to be anywhere?"

"Actually it being my first scan I really want that my husband is there, he missed it during Kittu's time so I want this to be special for him for us"

"Totally understandable, come when you both can, actually I'm availabe tomorrow afternoon if it suits you then just call reception and they will book you in" she smiled

"ok thanks dr" said Naira and then she left from there.

"I'm home" she said as she turned the key in the lock of their house. "Kartik?" She called she went in the main room.

 Kartik seemed a bit quiet..clutching his phone

"Are you ok?"

"Stevensons my boss he called me..Ian has gone missing..

"What, Lucy said he was flying back when she called me the other day" said Naira as she placed her purse down on the table

I don't know I just hope he is ok jaan."

"He will be fine come here" she took him in a hug.

"I really hope he is jaan" he said hugging her tightly.

'Kartik seems really down my news will have to wait..or is this what he needs to hear kya karu..
