"kyu?" She asked surprised by his question. Kartik gave her a please kind of look. 

"Really look at this face" she caressed Kittu's cheek.

"you really want me to lie of his existence?"

" Naira, jaan when did I say that" he held his son's hand in his. "I could never deny his existence..just we tell nani he was born after marriage.

"Ok.you want to protect your good boy wali image in front of her"

" jaan not just mine, hum dono ki.. I don't want anyone to think ke she got pregnant before marriage"

"Mendak that night, Jab hum ek hui it happened because we were in love aur woh special tha, I'm not ashamed" she said.

"Hello.. when did I say I was ashamed?" He said trying to reason with her."I remember that night too it was very special, but nani is old fashioned she will not understand all this" 

 "it's not right to lie, I'm going to say what I want I'm not worried"  she said making a stand. Kartik knew his girl she won't budge if she believes in something then that's it. The car parked up.

"We are here , Geetanjali mansion" said the driver

"jaan we have reached" she saw his face he looked nervous, she placed her hand on his knee.

"relax baby, everything will be fine" he covered his hand over hers and nodded. They both came out of the car, Kartik carried Kittu and held her hand they walked towards the gates.

"Wow this is it?" He said seeing the grand building.

" it's really beautiful.. welcome to Geetanjali Janki mansion.

"Janki?" Kartik read it and Naira asked him who Janki is, Kartik with a big smile said it's his mumma's name.

"What a beautiful name" she smiled at him.

" chalo" Naira let go of his hand. He turned to her.

" you go first, we will come after" she took Kittu from him.

" jaan yeh..

"Kartik please, your nani is waiting after how many years, her Kittu has come to see her, it should be, this moment should just be you guys and then we will come after" but Kartik disagreed.

"Nai jaan, I want you both to be by my side,we are a unit, not all this you will come later business. He kissed her temple.

"Ok jese mere pati ki agaya" she squeezed his waist. They walked towards the door and Kartik pushed the bell. The door opened a elderly lady opened it.

" K-kittu tum, sach mein tum ho" she held his face.

"Nani" his eyes started to tear, Naira held his hand from the back. She kept herself hidden, Nani hugged Kartik and only then she saw Naira.

" yeh Naira?" She asked and Kartik turned around. He wiped his tears.

"Haan nani, yeh Naira hai meri biwi aur humara beta" he said pointing to Kittu. Nani looked at Kittu he was clinged on his mumma's chest. "I can't believe it, your a father Kittu, kitna pyara hain yeh" she caressed his cheek.

 Naira came forward and nani stopped her. "ruko Naira" Kaira exchanged a look.

"Kya hua Nani" Nani walked away, Kittu wanted to go to his dadda and Naira gave him to Kartik.

"You three have come to my home for the first time, I want to welcome you properly"

She started doing aarti and they felt happy.

"Now bahu please bring your shubh kadam in my home" Naira holding Kartik's hand entered inside.

" Kittu tumhari biwi bahut sundar hai" Naira smiled and touched her feet, Nani stopped her.

" bas,bas beta" she gave her a hug, " saddha suhagan raho"  Naira instantly warmed to his nani, she is very loving.

"come, Karan take their bags out of the car and place them in their room. Nani's welcoming nature was lovely to see.

"you all must be tired from your long flight, come and sit, Shanta get some sharbat kuch thanda"

"Chalo beht te hai" they all followed her and sat down in her living room.

Naira sat next to him and Kittu was leaning on his papa's shoulder facing his mumma.  Nani watched Kartik's son all huddled to his papa.

"I can't believe mera Kittu has a son" she said watching this cute family. Kartik smiled at her comment.

" Kittu, bacha listen" he tried to turn him but he wasn't listening.

"Baby esa nai karte" Naira also tried.

"It's ok, he must be tired from the long flight" she said, then nani realised something.

"Kittu you called him Kittu?"

"Kittu hai nani, uska naam humne kittu rakha" he said finally managing him to face front and he did.

"Kittu, mera Kittu ka chota sa Kittu. Nani got emotional "bahut pyara aur sundar hai yeh, Janki wouldve loved him, both of them" she said referring to Naira.

"He is smiling at me come here beta meri godi mein" Kittu giggled a little.

"Nani, woh esa hi karta hai, ask Naira first time I met him" Naira held his hand to stop him.

"Haan Kartik woh.." she tried to stop him saying anything further.

"he was like this thoda playful and then ran into my arms" he chuckled.

"Why Kittu were you not there at his birth time" Naira gave him a look like I was trying to stop you from talking..

"Haan tha na.." Kartik said in a nervous tone..

"Naira beta tum batao?"

" Actually nani mein nai tha in Kittu's life until a few months"

 Kartik filled his nani in on everything that happened. He wiped his tears. Naira wiped her own tears and then held his hand. She saw Nani looking sad and thought they needed to talk..

" Kittu sogaya, mein use sulakar ati hu" she carried him from Kartik.

"Haan he must be tired, Shanta show them their room"

"I put Naira through so much nani, woh Kittu ko akele pal rahi thi" Naira heard this and felt bad, she went up the stairs with Kittu, the room was royal looking, she thanked Shanta.

"Goodnight baby" she kissed Kittu and laid him on the bed.

"Itna kuch hogaya, and I didn't even know I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you Kittu" she hugged him. He hugged his nani and cried uncontrollably.

" bas, beta bas.. you deserve to be happy, now forget everyone who wronged you and concentrate on your family Kittu, you Naira and chota Kittu. Kartik smiled and his nani wiped his tears, Naira stood in the door way.

" Naira tum bhi ajao" she held her arms out and sat next to nani, she hugged both of them.

" tum dono thakh gaye hoge, fresh hojao and relax" they both stood up.

"Actually Kittu you can get fresh here, I want to take Naira with me" Naira nodded now feeling a little nervous. She went with her, Nani called her in her room..the door closed.

"Nani before you say anything I was young and we were very much in love and Kittu hogaya aur.."

"Naira relax, I understand jawani mein yeh hojata hai, yes I would've preferred you took this step after marriage but you stood by my Kittu and he is lucky to have you, even after he faked his death you took him back, you must really love him"

"I do he is my everything" nani held her hands in hers and nodded.

" here I have something for you.." she handed her a bag.

Kartik came out of the washroom, Shanta told him where his room is, he went up the stairs and looked in the door way, on the bed Kittu was sleeping. Naira slipped her chappal on.

"Meri biwi ne sari pehni hai" he said in a husky tone. Naira smiled looking to the ground. Just then Kartik gave her a back hug.

"dekhu zaara" he turned her towards him, she was wearing a dark pink sari with cap sleeve, backless blouse and her hair open. He looked her up to down.

"Jaan he lelogi meri" Naira's cheeks blushed she turned her back to him. She felt him move her hair to the front, exposing her back to him. He began to blow gently on her skin, she felt goosebumps all over her.. he gripped her shoulders..he angled his face in her neck.

"K-kartik Kittu is asleep"

"exactly jaan he is asleep" he lovingly kissed her neck, she sighed, his hand slipped down rubbing her waist.

 Kittu jag jayega" she said her fingers rubbing his nape. Nani came and saw them. 'Young love  she thought and gently knocked the door.

"Ahem bacche" Naira's eyes flew open and she removed her hand from his nape and he lifted his head from her neck.

"Sorry to disturb" she said looking down

"Nai nai nani you weren't come in" they said together making a distance.

 "I was thinking you both didn't do saath phere and all so i want to do your marriage with all the rituals from mehendi, sangeet sab kuch" she said.

Naira's face lit up but Kartik was quiet..

"ok but keep it simple not too much shor" he said.

" Beta yeh Geetanjali ke pote ki shaadi hai dhoom dhaam se hogi"

"Nai nani please just us and very few people hmm" 

"Par kyu beta?" Nani didn't understand.. just then Kittu came and ran to her.

"Kittu aaja beta" she hugged him and forgot what she was saying. "Kitna pyara hai" she kissed his cheek.

"Normally he takes a while to get use to new faces, but he ran to you" said Kartik smiling to Naira.

"haan Kartik, nani to apne hai and he knows it" she smiles to nani and Kittu.

"Beta simple wedding chaiye to hum ese karenge, how long are you both staying atleast till diwali I hope"

"Nai nani short time hai 2 weeks, phir Naira ko important case par dhyan dena hai, Kittu ka school bhi hai" he said.

"I wish it was longer beta, ok so we are limited in time we will start the wedding preparations tomorrow night"

"Sorry nani we can't stay long but we promise we will plan a longer trip" Nani liked Naira's sweet nature and gave her smile.

"chalo Kittu let's go and find you some toys, you both can get back to what you were doing before I came in the room" Kaira exchanged an embarrassed look and nani also smiled feeling embarrassed at what she just commented.

"Baby why did you refuse a grand wedding?" She said coming close to him.

" Naira please just leave it.." he rubbed his temple.

" shaadi karne hai to acche se karte hai, it's not like this day will come again so we should do it properly" she said

"Fine then nai karni hai shaadi" he said giving her a shock.
