"Ok so no rose today just you and Kittu I have got a list that will help you mendak" she said whilst pacing around the room

"ok jaan" he replied now sitting up.. taking his water bottle.

"so he usually wakes up in 1 hour but yesterday was a long day so it's ok if he sleeps for a bit."

She came and sat next to him, and ruffled his hair. He held that hand kissed it.

" I'm going to go now I'm running late" she held his face and gave him a quick peck on the lips. 

"Have a good day jaan, actually what time will you be back?" He yawned. She turned around good question it could full day or shortest just the morning even,it all depends on client.

"Aww I'm missing you already" she smiled at his comment and blew a fly kiss his way. 

" I hope it's not full day so I can atleast spend the afternoon with you " she said standing in the doorway.

" I'm going to make you late, go sweetheart see you soon" he waved.

"I'll quickly  just go see Kittu"  he nodded in agreement. She walked over and saw their baccha a sleep she didn't want to break his sleep so she just caressed his cheek gently and then left for work. Kartik saw the time he got up did his brush, had a quick shower and some breakfast,  and then he went to wake Kittu up. He went near his crib. "Dadda" said the little one.

"Good morning champ, you awake?" He nodded. Kartik carried him out, "Mumma?"  He said rubbing his eyes.

"Baccha mumma gone to work but dadda is here"  he kissed his forehead.

"Aaj na dadda Kittu ko nalaye?" Kittu nodded. Then Kartik remembered something.

"first let's take you to do potty" he carried him and his essentials to the bathroom. He helped him with his potty training and then did his tooth brush and then gave him a shower. He was all wrapped up in a towel and then he placed him on the bed,  His papa dressed him up in his inside clothes.

" aaj humara Kittu kya pehnega, mumma ne kya select kiya"  Kittu looked around on the bed yeh wala" Kittu laughed and it reminded mendak of his sherni.

"Kitna pyara hai humara Kittu Naira" he said as he dressed him. Shortly Kartik came downstairs and gave him his breakfast. Meanwhile Naira was busy but her mind did wonder.

" it's almost Kittu' s lunch time call karo kya Kartik ko?" She was missing them.

" Miss Singhania Mr Thorpe is on line 2"  she nodded.

" ok Jill thank you" she got busy in work again.. then  Naira was going for lunch but her phone rang.

"Naira your mum is here shall I let her in" Naira nodded.

 "Yeah Anette let her through" her mum came through the door.

" hi beta how are you"

"I'm fine.."

"And Kittu?"

"good very happy with his papa looking after him today"

"You left Kittu with Kartik!" Naira shot her mum an annoyed look.

"I mean, ok as you wish, what is the equation between you both now that..

" we are together, I love him mumma but you don't seem to understand so what is the point.."

"ok I except it your choice your an adult you know your feeling well" Naira was surprised by her change attitude towards Kartik.

" really, so what brings you here because I'm sure it's not just about how things are going with me and Kartik. Her mum started to explain..

Kartik and Kittu had lots of fun and now it was 2pm Kartik just put Kittu down for his afternoon nap.

He walked downstairs after placing him in his crib, he heard the keys rattling. He hoped but wasnt sure, "yes" he exclaimed in glee. Naira heard him and smiled.

"I finished early" she said closing the door.

"Sherni"  he ran to her and picked her up twirling her. She didn't expect it and looped his neck, they both laughed as she was in  mid air.

He placed her down, "I guess your... "  she was  cut mid sentence by his lips on hers. After a hectic morning his lips on hers were a piece of heaven. She looped his neck knotting her fingers as they kiss.

"What a welcome to come home to" she hugged him. Then they released each other,

"How was your day baby, I hope Kittu didn't trouble you too much" they held hands,

"Nah, we had lots of fun.. they discussed all on what Kittu did, ate etc..

" seems you are a natural mere mendak" he smiled

" thank you meri hot shot lawyer" he laughed.  "sach mein you looking so good in this smart wear look.

They went into the kitchen.  Naira put her lunch bag away, Kartik came and gave her a back hug.

"Aree today you are in a very romantic mood" she said rubbing his arms that were holding her.

"Hmm" he rubbed his cheek to hers, then kissed it. Naira closed her eyes enjoying his action. She touched his cheek, then angled her face to his, their eyes met, then their lips locked in a sweet lingering kiss. Kartik lifted her up and sat her on the breakfast bar. She wrapped her arms around his neck, their noses rubbed together, followed by a cute smile exchange. He then placed one hand on her thigh, and the other gripped the side of her neck softly.. kissing the corner of her neck, Naira sighed in pleasure, her hands gripped his hair. The sound of her phone broke the moment. "It might be work" she jumped off the bar. He nodded

"Yeah answer it jaan"

" its Mumma, hellonMumma, yes 4:30pm is fine ok bye"

" 4:30pm you going out?"

" nai Kartik mumma is coming with some friends to meet me and Anant"

" I'm sorry what?" He was clueless and Naira filled him in,

"earlier today mumma turned up at the office and explained that her friends were in town for one night wanted to meet her daughter and fiance so I  agreed to this but it won't be Anant that will get an introduction" she winked.

"Oh Sherni you really remind me of that Naira who was rebellious in malibu" he pulled her close.

" what fun we got up to" she said resting her head on his chest, then lifted it,

"now  chalo lets see what we should  wear for this little get together." She said pulling him along.
