"Can you believe yeh cutie 1 saal ka hojayega" said Kartik whilst playing with him on the play mat he was making him stand.

"I can't honey yeh ek saal ka kab ho gaya" she sad sitting on the floor. "Ahh..mm" he babbled whilst clutching her top. Naira kissed his cheek.

"Baby aap stand kitni ache se kare re ho" she said. Kartik chuckled when Kairav sat with a soft thump. "Thoda lazy bhi hai he doesn't want to learn to walk" said Naira when he crawled off.

"Jaan he we will try the walker again," he suggested. "Yah honey we can but do you remember what you did that time? " she told him. "Hmm but main esa he hu soft when it comes to them" Naira sighed.

Kartik placed an arm around her."Kittu ko time laga tha?" He asked. "Nai with Kittu we.. well mumma put him in the walker as soon as he was in the initial crawling stages" Kartik nodded.

"Kairav will learn too. I guess every baby is different," she said then turned to him. "Honey 2 weeks then you will have a one year old you saw him from 0 months how are you feeling?" She asked him because she knew during Kittu's time he missed out.

"Seriously jaan my heart is full i love being a dad to our babies but with Kairav i have seen it everyday it's been beautiful i have loved it!" he said. Naira squeezed his face "You are such a natural" she complimented him.Kartik chuckled. "Ayyee" Kairav squealed "yes we are talking about you only" Kartik said as the little one showed his 4 teeth. "It's his feeding time, I'll just get him," she said to Kartik.

"Oh baby" Naira got up then carried him up. Kartik stood up too. "Oh thank you" she said as he kissed her cheek. "Daddy ko kissie milege?" He asked. Naira giggled. "Daddy ko kissie do..good boy" uttered Naira. Kartik rubbed the back of his head.

Kartik went to collect Kittu from football practice and later that day they sat down for dinner. After eating they did the night routine with the kids. It was a bath then playtime for 20 minutes.

Kartik was sat on the sofa next to his jaan. Naira was cradling Kairav in her arms. "Kittu bacha it's getting late, you have school tomorrow" said Kartik. "Yes daddy" said Kittu. In the last few months he started going to sleep without throwing any tantrums, he listened to his parents.

"Goodnight mumma" Naira hugged him. "Sleep well baby" she kissed his cheek. "Goodnight daddy" he said and Kartik carried him up "Let's go buddy i'll read you a story" he said taking him.

Naira smiled then kissed Kairav's cheek. "My baby is going to be a whole year old very soon and you know baby me and your papa are waiting for your 1st word. "It will make your daddy so happy if you say dada"

"Jaan is he a sleep? I'll put him to sleep" Suggested Kartik. She gave the baby to him then he came back downstairs.

"Right babies are asleep" he said, coming off the last step. "Let's brainstorm party ideas" he sat down next to Naira. "Aree" she said when he placed his head in her lap. "This is nice" he crossed his arms.. "Honey, is this how we are going to plan his 1st birthday?" she asked whilst she caressed his hair.

"Hmm ek kiss then i can concentrate" he said then pouted his lips. "Honey" she giggled. Kartik touched her cheek. "Quickly i am waiting jaan" Naira leaned down and pecked his temple. Then she softly placed a kiss on his lips.

"Right now.." he said sitting up "We agree it will be at home like Kittu's one" Naira nodded "Yes here in the living room and garden you arranged the event planner to do the decor?" he nodded "yes jaan" Naira got up and brought the guest list. "Add.. she told him to a few more names. "Catering is by mumma's friend aur kuch.. are we forgetting anything?".. she asked him.

"Yes jaan I need to email his photos to the decor company i'll get it done by tomorrow," Kartik said. "Yeah honey actually i have a day off from work so i can email the photos across" she suggested to him. He nodded "Oh yes good idea we have a celebrity special on the show kal i will be a bit late too so yeah you can do that" he kissed her cheek.

"Right that's done" she put the list on the table then leaned back and relaxed in his arms.

"I'm glad you got a day off tomorrow" he said whilst caressing her cheek. "Hmm?" She asked. "You have been working so hard you need to take rest too baby" he commented.
Naira kissed his hand. "You're so considered honey," she told him.

She turned on her front and looped his neck whilst they were lying down. He cupped her cheek and kissed her lips. They kissed for a few minutes then went to bed.

"Ab, ab baa"

"No baby" said Naira carrying Kairav into the main room.

"Baby say da da" Naira wanted his first word to be for Kartik; she tried this everyday with Kairav. "Yaaa, baa" he said. She then sat him down on the mat. "Chalo, let's try a walkie?" But Kairav started crawling away. "No you don't" she caught him from the back but he started crying.

"Bas, bas" she turned him in her arms then stood up. She got out his stroller and sat him inside it. "Let's go baby the sun is out it's a nice day" she fastened him in then grabbed his baby bag and they went for a walk to the park.

Naira was pushing the stroller "look baby let's go on the swings" she smiled down at his cute face. Naira got an incoming call. "Hi mumma mein abhi park mein hu Kairav ke saath" she said.

"That's great mumma listen I'll call you when we reach home..yeah we can talk properly..ok take care bye" she said then cut the call. She adjusted his cap then carried him out of the stroller and sat him in the swing. "Up..up then down" she said with a smile and her little one giggled.

"Chalo dada ke liye video lele te hai" she said then started recording him on the swing. "Say hi dada" he giggled cutely making Naira giggle too.

Naira stopped the recording "let's send it to your dada..and sent" she slipped the phone back in her purse. "Da..da!"

Naira looked up. "Wait, did you just say.. dada?"

He was giggling, she stopped the swing. "Baby" she cupped his face. "Dada?" She asked. "Da..da" Naira's jaw dropped. She picked him out of the swing and held him in the air. "Baby your dada is going to be so so happy" she showered his face with kisses.

Everyday Naira showed him the tv and pointed to Kartik and said this is your dada she wanted ke his 1st word is dada looks like her hardwork has finally paid off. "Chalo baby" she carried him on the hip and took him to the slide but when she sat him on it he cried. "Ok baby ok nai jate" she kissed his cheek then carried him up again. She pushed the stroller ahead whilst Kairav was on her hip. She stopped then sat on a bench with him on her lap. "Dekho see that" she pointed at the lake where ducks were swimming by.

"Dada" Naira smiled hearing him say it again "yes bachu" she pressed her cheek to his. "Dada bahut khush ho jayenge when he hears this" Kairav babbled a little then turned in her arms. "Haan, haan baby you want milky i know" she rubbed his back. "Also it's time to go get your brother from school soon aur Rose bhi aachuki hogi"

Once she got home Rose was mopping the living room. "Hi Rose i am just going to feed him upstairs" Rose nodded across the room. "Yes ma'am" she smiled. "Chalo bachu" she went up and nursed him in his nursery.

"Rose, the baby is sleeping. I am going to go collect Kittu. I'll be back soon" said Naira. "Ma'am relax, I'll go collect Kittu," she suggested to her but Naira, shook her head. "No Rose, me and Kartik, agreed that either one of us will collect him from school" she explained to Rose, why then left.

Kartik just sat down. It was break time. "Naira ka message.." he opened it then smiled seeing the video. "Aww mera bachu looking so cute" he smiled "hello honey just a little something from us to make you smile" she said then kissed the air to him. "So sweet jaan ah i love my life" he smiled.

Naira came home with Kittu "Baby remember what mumma said 1st wash your hands" she told him. "Yes mumma i will" he said. After he washed his hands Naira gave him his snack and let him watch tv for a bit. "Rose take out Kairav's walker i want to try again.

"Chalo baby aap sherni ke bache ho" she carried him up from the swing. "And dada.. remember dada?" she asked. "Dada" he squealed. Naira grinned "yes you really have got your 1st word pakka" she kissed his cheeks.

"Mumma, why did you got that?" Asked Kittu, seeing the walker "It's for your brother baby" replied Naira. Kittu got off the sofa. "For Kairu?" Naira nodded. "Chalo lets try" Naira placed him inside the walker and as predicted Kairav started crying. "Bas, bas" she kneeled near him. "Kairav see this" she distracted him with a toy that was on the walker. " Dada nahi hai otherwise ek second uski rone se utha leta" said Naira

"Kairu its ok" Kittu held his little hand. "Baby try karo please" said Naira, a phone call came through. "Kittu watch your brother i am just coming". Naira answered the call it was her mumma. They discussed his 1st birthday then Naira ended the call.

"I can't hear any crying or anything" she panicked a little going back into the room. "Very good Kairu..mumma look" Kittu called Naira. "He is walking in the walker wow my clever babies" she smiled.

"Daddy ko surprises milne wali hai" she smiled. Some hours later Kartik unlocked the front door. "Daddy" Kittu hugged his leg. "Mera bacha kaisa hai?" he patted his back then carried him up for a cuddle "Where is your mumma?" He asked Kittu.

Naira was stirring a batter "Jaan" he said in her ear. "Tum kab aye?" She smiled, caressing his arms that were around her. "Just now" he replied. Naira smiled then turned. "Hello handsome" she said whilst looping his neck. Hi gorgeous" he said, placing his hands on her hips. He leaned in and took her lips for a kiss.

"Was work good?" She asked in between the kisses. "Yup it was good" he said whilst kissing her. "Kittu i'll get your mumma wait" Rose said whilst going to the kitchen but she turned back and went to the living room.

"Kittu your parents are a bit busy" she told him she had just seen them liplocking. "Oh ok Rose i'll just wait hey Kairu look see this"

"Hey my cuties" said Kartik who just entered the living room. "Mumma, I can't find the.. " said Kittu going over to his mumma with his quiry. Kartik went over to Kairav who was sitting on the sofa.

"Hey bachu i missed you..come here" he said. Kairav grinned and went to his daddy. Kartik held him in the air then kissed both his cheeks.

"Bachu, who is carrying you?" She asked the little one who was snuggled to his dad's chest. "Jaan you ok?" He asked her because this isn't something Naira asks. "Yah honey but.. Kairav, who is this?" She asked him whilst keeping a hand on his chest. 

"Kairav.. remember we..

"Jaan, how was the park?" He asked her Kairav's hand tugged his chin.  "Great it was the best and he um said his 1st word. "He what? I-i missed it?" He asked, feeling low. 

 "No i mean Yeah but-

"Da-da" said Kairav. "Wait did he just say?" 

Dada yes honey" she smiled. "Kairav you know who i am?" He asked whilst sitting on on the sofa  he had the biggest smile Kartik's happiness had no bounds.

"Dad--da.." he stretched the letters. Naira sat next to him. "Yes baby i am your dada" he said, hugging him tightly. "Dad-da," Kairav said again. "Jaan i am seriously going to tear up. "Aww honey" she said, holding his hand then kissed it.

"He said it in the park when I was sending a video to you," she told him. "Oh wow mera baccha" Kartik kissed Kairav's cheeks. Naira had a tear in her eye, what a beautiful sight she was witnessing. What she craved to see during Kittu's time she was seeing it now.

"Jaan you ok?" He asked as he noticed her moist eyes. "Haan it's just precious seeing this, '' she replied. He smiled then kissed her cheek. "Dad-daa" he squealed, making Kaira laugh.

"Accha dad-da ke bache" she said, taking him from Kartik she pressed her nose to his. "Mumma kuch nai? sirf dad-da sab kuch?" Kairav just giggled. "Hmm?" She asked then kissed his cheek.

Kartik held Naira around her shoulders taking her into a soft back hug because she was holding Kairav. "Mumma toh dadda ki jaan hai" Naira smiled whilst rolling her eyes. "Sacchi?" She averted her eyes to the side. He turned her by the chin. "Koi shaq?" He Asked softly.

They had a sweet eyelock, she shook her head. "Nai of course not honey" she replied. He slowly kept his lips on hers anf they shared a few kisses till..

"Dadda!" They broke the kiss then turned back to Kairav. "Yes bachu" they said in unison and kissed his cheeks. 

"Daddy" Kittu came to Kaira holding something. "Haan baby..ek minute isse lo" she gave Kairav to Kartik. "Kya hua why do you look sad?" Naira asked. "Mumma Kairav has so many pictures with daddy see these.." he showed.

Naira cupped his little face "Yeah baby its so nice na" Kittu had sad eyes. "Yeah but my baby time the pictures its only you mumma where is daddy?" He asked.

Kaira exchanged a look they didn't know what to tell him.
