Anjali sighed "beta please he is still your father you can't speak with him like that" Naira banged her hand on the table "Are you kidding me mumma seriously your making excuses for this man!" Mukesh shook his head "look I know it's been a while but I-

"Haan I'll get Kittu from upstairs and you get Kairav" he nodded then touched his temple to hers. "Jaan" he said and she held his waist briefly. Mukesh exchanged a look with Anjali to stop her. "Naira beta please we have to talk about this" Naira turned on her heel "there is nothing to say mumma" she reverted. "I was suppose to meet my grandkids today Anjali you promised" Anjali gave him the eyes. "She what? Naira looked at her parents "like that's ever happening" she scoffed. "Nani hum jare hai" he carried Kairav from the cot, Vidya got up "beta I thought you both were going to stay for dinner?" Kartik sighed "Hmm masi change of plans.. he said rubbing Kairav back as he was sleeping on his papa's chest.

"Kartik chalo" she said carrying a sleepy Kittu. "Chalo nani hum chalte hai" Nani was clueless as to why but trusted her Kittu. "Naira please just wait a minute" said her mumma as she saw them heading for the door. Naira turned "mumma please I have nothing to say to either of you" she said looking at her dad. "My grandkids please Naira just let me see their faces once" pleaded her dad.

"Over my dead body!" She shouted then turned with Kartik "Enough this is too much" said Vidya blocking the door way. "Masi please" Vidya shook her head. "Look you are all a family but Anjali if Naira doesn't want to meet Mukesh and she doesn't want the kids to, then you respect that!" Anjali sighed "but didi i- Vidya kept her hand out "no Anjali, I support Naira in this they are her children not yours and its her decision" said Vidya putting Anjali in her place.

"Ok fine I respect your wishes I'll um leave now" said Mukesh "yeah that would be best..Naira, Kartik, Geetanjali behen please come through dinner is almost ready" Naira looked at Kartik "hmm come jaan" he said keeping a hand on her lower back. Mukesh walked passed but Naira didn't give him a second look. They both went inside the room and then had dinner with them like nothing happened.

Shortly they came home and put the kids to bed "nani aapko kuch chaiye sone se pehle?" She asked as the three of them were in the living room. "Nai beta" she said holding Naira's hand. Naira finished pouring the three glasses. She nodded then gave him a quick peck. "Haan mendak they exchanged a few short pecks and were on their way.

"Right jaan walk slowly" he said as he kept her eyes covered by his palm and the other hand encircled around her waist. "Ok we are outside somewhere na?" He nodded "hmm ok now open" he said removing his palm. "Tadah" he said

"A picnic wow" she smiled "you like it?" He asked "you did this honey?" she said hugging the side of his waist. "Yup sherni.." he held her hand "come with me" he said and they sat down. For you jaan" he handed her the flowers. "Honey this is too much but this all is too cute"she said snuggling into him as they laid together.

"See?" now can you imagine lying here in a suit?" she leaned upon him keeping her palm on his chest."No" she giggled and their eyes met.

He ran his fingers through her soft locks, they leaned in and shared a few kisses."Right jaan you must be hungry" she nodded "yes I'm starving babe" he smiled and then sat up.

"Let's eat" he said taking out the plates from the basket. "I can't believe very soon we are going to be celebrating the 1st year of our wedding anniversary" Kartik chuckled "I know jaan I am excited" he said.

"Same here" they smiled at each other then ate the lovely spread feeding each other and kissing inbetween. "That was so yummy" she said finishing the last bit of her food now seated in his lap "I'm glad you enjoyed your picnic date and I  look forward to what you have planned for our evening date jaan" he kissed her cheek.  Naira's face expressed a wide eyed look. "Tonight as in this evening?" She said whilst caressing his nape as he was kissing the crook of her neck.

"Obviously baby" he said sucking her pulse point Naira nodded "yeah of course honey" she said with a nervous giggle as she had not planned anything! "Mumma daddy" Kittu hugged them between the legs, they both patted his back "beta tum dono agaye?" said nani cradling Kairav."Haan" he said carrying Kittu up. "Maza aya Naira?" Naira nodded "Haan nani bahut, Kairav ko doodh pelana tha to we came back" Nani smiled and gave him to Naira. "Hello my golu molu" she said holding him in mid air then kissed his cheek. "Chalo my baby is very hungry na" she said "Kittu you had fun with nani?" Asked Kartik as Naira went upstairs. "Yes daddy, nani" he got down and hugged her legs. "Mera Kittu" she said patting him then carried him up, Kartik smiled seeing the sight.

"Baby aap mumma ko kuch idea do I rang every cinema but they are fully booked, your daddy is so good all his efforts are priceless" she said whilst burping him shortly they came back downstairs. "Honey where is nani" she asked as he was patting Kittu on the sofa putting him to sleep. "In the kitchen jaan" he reverted. "Ok ise lo mein abhi ayi" she gave Kairav to Kartik "my baby" he kissed his cheek and tried to make him stand on his legs. "Look see bhaiya sogaye aap ko bhi nini arahi hai" he said softly seeing the little one yawn. "Hmm?" He kissed his cheek then started cradling him.

"Naira bas tum buri nai ho, meri Kittu ke liye perfect ho tum Bhul gaye to kya Hua abhi anniversary thodi hai" Naira smiled "Haan nani but kuch karna padega aur woh bhi aaj" she said. Later on Grace from next came by and they introduced her to nani. Naira and nani thought this was the perfect opportunity so she went over with the kids.

"Jaan?" Haaye" he said seeing her dressed up.

"Haaye yourself my gorgeous man" she said walking over to him seeing him in a  pair of Jean's and shirt. "So where are we going" he asked.. "hmm give me your hand" he smiled and pecked her lips they came out of their room. "Its been 2 hours shall we get nani and the kids?" he asked. "What no!" He was startled by her tone. "I mean yah soon but they are having fun Grace's sister is there too and her two boys are Kittu's age so..anyways come with me" she insisted. He though the stairs are that way then why..she opened the door.

"Ok so tadahh" she said "happy cinema date night honey" he chuckled seeing their home theatre look.

"You forgot didn't you" she pouted "yah and even when I tried to get a booking it was all full and also.. he placed his lips on hers "bas bas my cutie biwi its brilliant" he said holding her hand and coming into the room. "Really? She was surprised "haan look at all your efforts jaan, thats why nani and the kids are at Grace's home good idea indeed jaan" he said looking at the heart balloons and rose petals everywhere. "I promise kal it won't be at home I know we agreed away from home dates" Kartik cupped her face.

"So what we watching?" He asked making her forget her mistake and to relax and enjoy. "Haan honey so you take a seat and I'll just be back . She placed two trays on the table in  front of them.

"popcorn, drinks, nachos you have thought of everything jaan" she smiled and he pulled her by the hand they sat together. "Right let's start the movie.." she hit the play button on Netflix. "After we fell" he said "we wanted to watch this since some time na" he commented. "Yes mendak right now we are not husband and wife we are bf and gf" she said he looked at her a bit puzzled. "Recreating dates remember?" She said.

"Yes so I will.." he wrapped his hands around her waist as she leaned back on his chest. "Get my rebellious sherni" she giggled "maybe" he chuckled and kissed her cheek they started watching the movie and ate nachos and fed each other polishing off the plate with sips of champagne inbetween. "Right something sweet" she said hitting pause whilst getting up.

"Icecream yummy" she gave him the cone and then sat next to him "but not yummy than my jaan" he said taking a lick of the icecream, then called her forward and started kissing her lips.
