Naira realised maybe she was too close she went to remove her hands but just as she was about to he held them."woh kyu?" Seeing as he was comfortable she decided to just stay that way "just..ese hi I mean it could be worse" he nodded "hmm that's true" he then noticed himself holding her hands maybe she will find it uncomfortable he thought.

"So..usually what would you be doing today if we weren't stuck here together" he turned releasing her hands "I am actually missing a interview for a potential university dad is going to be so mad at me" he said she looked at him with her cheek resting on her knees. "This damn boat wreck has messed up things alot the revision classes, the prom then exams are all coming up" she said.

"One day at a time that's my motto" he said she lifted her head up "that's true here it's like that only we just don't know what's around the next corner" she said "I know but atleast we found a shower and we have some food" he said she nodded with a smile. "Be happy with the little things in life?" He pulled her cheek playfully "exactly girl or shall I call you cave girl"

"Don't you dare cave boy" she stuck her tongue out at him. "

"How drunk were you?" He said standing up Naira stood up too "a little.." she said "more like completely I had to carry you back you didn't miraculously levitate here babe anyways.. I am going to go explore I saw some trees over that side I suggest you come too I don't want to leave you alone after last time" she nodded "of course I am coming even I don't want to stay here"

"I asked because I don't want you to feel obliged that you have to hang out with me" he said ruffling his hair "Well same here but I don't mind in fact in college I don't think I would've said hi to you even" he gave her a nod "hmm I know you never say hi to me, your a bit stuck up and only have your friend circle" he said to her truthfully. "Well you never say hello to me either" she protested "and I um you notice me I mean my circle?" He chuckled "come on we can walk and talk" he said "but 1st sun lotion it's a good thing we found some essentials here" he took some and started rubbing his chest, pecs and belly, he couldn't reach the back.

"Do you need to reach the back?" He nodded "yah please" he said she took the bottle from him and poured some on her hands "UV Ray's seem high today it's best to be protected he said just then Naira started to rub the lotion all over his bare back. "There all done" she said giving him back the bottle. "Hey won't you apply any?" He asked her. "Nah its ok" she replied.

"You know how many people die of skin cancer every year? now turn around" she actually didn't refuse and let him apply the lotion on her neck and back then he turned her towards him. "I can do the rest" she said taking the bottle "yes of course" she turned away and applied it on her cleavage, arms and feet. "Done?" She turned around after have applied it in her face. "Hmm" but then noticed something. "Hey Mr walking talking health warning face par nai lagana hai?" He touched his face. "Oh shit I forgot" she shook her head. "no problem let me do it" she took some and applied it on his nose, cheeks and then his whole face.

"Now we can go explore" he said wearing his shirt but kept the buttons fully open as they walked he held her hand "are you missing anything special today?" He asked she kept hold of his hand their comfort level was growing.. "hmm my di's birthday" she said "I wish we could tell them at we are alive atleast so they don't worry" he squeezed her hand "same pinch" they walked a bit further.

A few days passed like this they were not developing any romantic feelings for each other but just going day by day however the mutual respect and care was increasing.

They explored a different part of the island today  "Look coconut trees want some coconut water instead for a change?" he ran over and saw many were on the ground "yes,yes thank you god, hey cave girl look at this" he picked 2 up.

"Always sees the positive in everything" she smiled taking small steps towards him she was liking his personality and outlook in life. It was getting hot so he removed his shirt and tied it around his waist. She too changed her dress and made it a skirt. "Cave girl how about coconut water it's good for the tummy and very yummy" she shook her head "Tum na chote bacho jaise ho" he gave her a smile "hmm mein hu chota bacha when it come to food and drinks"

"Oh shit coconut to mila but how do I break it!" He said "it's ok we will find a way" he looked up and saw her standing in front of him. "So my positivity is rubbing off on you cave girl"

"Hmm I guess so cave boy and I want to say thank you these few days have been tough but because of your optimism and company its kept me going" she gave him a soft smile. "Your very welcome" she felt it wasn't enough he literally kept every day and night positive and took great care of her comforts be it hot water or a blanket at night. "So thank you" she angled her face and kissed his cheek then looked to the ground. "If we are thanking each other then I.." he squeezed her cheeks with his thumb and index finger her lips became a cute pout  "I think I can do one better" he leaned in and put his lips on hers she closed her eyes..

"Sorry I shouldn't have done that" he said making a distance "I-its ok it was a t-thank you kiss so.." she said equally nervous.. "exactly now cave girl how shall we break these coconuts any idea?" He asked her they acted like nothing happened and just got on with things

 Day 6 nighttime

Your quiet" he said whilst heating the water "it's been 6 days and..I'm missing papa, mumma, Naina di" she sobbed and stood up.. looking out towards the beach but not the water side because they were in another part of it, he got up and put a supportive arm around her

"It will be ok" he said rubbing her arm "will it?" She turned to him "I am not so sure..Kartik what if they never find us and we are stuck here forever" Kartik held her arms "positivity?" But she wasn't listening to him "I read this article once this man he got stranded on a secluded island and he was there for 6 months we have been here for just 6 days! not even 6.."

"Naira listen to me" he held her face

"Not even 6 weeks" she said

"Calm down..

"Forget 6 months and"

"Look at me" he said but she looked away..

"and I've already broken down I can't take this anymore I-

"Enough!" He said holding her face and now she looked at him. "Everything will be fine it has to be ok..?" She nodded a little. "I just.. the tears rolled down her cheeks

"Hey its ok" he pulled her into his arms her hand fell flat on his chest he immediately wrapped one hand around her shoulder, as she sobbed the tears rolled down her cheek making his bare chest moist. "Bas, bas let it out release your emotions" he caressed the back of her head gently and she started feeling at ease her other hand held his waist."sorry" she came out of his arms "weak moment but I am fine now" she said wiping her tears with the back of her hands. "Naira tears are not a weakness they are a release" she nodded "well it's late we should sleep sweet dreams" he went to his side. "Kartik" he turned "hmm?" She was hesitant to ask him. "if it's ok then can-can no actually forget it" he gave her a subtle smile. "tell me relax and without hesitation"
"Will you sleep with me?" She blurted out.

"excuse me we barely know each other cave girl" she closed her eyes in embarrassed "that came out wrong I-

"Want to share a blanket?" He said "exactly you worded it much better" she said nodded quickly. "Sure come on over" he said with such compassion in his tone that she got drawn to him his voice possessed such care he sat down "come" he called her she nodded "haan" she sat down next to him.

"ok here we go" she turned around to him. "you need to lie down so I can cover us both" he was holding the blanket in mid air. "Oh yeah of course" she laid down on her side. "There we go" he tucked her in. "now if I come too close feel free to push me back ok I have a tendency to move around at night" she smiled "ok I won't sweet dreams cave boy" she said with a subtle shy smile.

"right back at you cave girl" he said then came on to his back and threw his arm over his eyes to block out the moonlight, the entire night she stayed on her side and he surprisingly didn't move much.

Day 7

Today Kartik was feeling a bit low "when will someone spot this sos sign we need to be off this island soon" he said in frustration the shower was refreshing but it didn't last the bright sunshine made him all sweaty again.

"Good morning" he turned around "good morning sleepy head did you sleep ok?" She nodded "hmm thanks for you know sharing your blanket with me" he smiled "anytime cave girl glad you slept well" he said walking back..

"so I'm going for a shower..

"Without the bikini again-

"Huh?" He turned to the other direction "nothing tum jao" he said "oh shit what did I just blurt out"

"Ruko cave boy don't move an inch" he stood in his spot she came close to him and stood in front of him. "Did you see me topless?"

"Hmm actually I was coming to talk to you and then I saw you showering..so I..

"Look away?" She asked

"Exactly..well no I um tried to but I couldn't I kept staring" he admitted

"it's ok i haven't exactly been honest either..i um saw you too from behind though" he chuckled

"so I guess we both saw each other naked" he said and his words had a husky tone in the word naked. "Hmm so we are even" she said with a playful expression.

"Hmm and it's only natural to admire ahem I mean see" Kartik again put his foot in his mouth.

"Now I am going to keep my mouth shut" he said

"I am going to go shower and yes without my bikini top" she winked to him. "and no that was not an invite" she said then walked off she was coming close to the shower "did he say admire" her cheeks went red at the thought but then she decided to forget and had a quick shower shortly she came back "yes, yes finally" he said holding the green coconut.

"Hey girl come here" Naira walked over to him her dress was again turned into a bikini skirt. "Check this out" he showed her the coconut.

"Wow you managed to break it" he nodded "yup have a sip" she smiled but shook her head "you should have the first sip aferall this is your hard effort. "I'll try it and see if it's ok to drink" he held it to his mouth "Mmm so good" he said gulping it down.

"Cave girl come here" she walked over "muh kholo" he instructed her and poured some into her mouth. "Mmm you weren't wrong" she said standing with her back against the tree. "Aree" he pulled her close by her waist. "What?" She asked "you just dropped it down your chin" he said wiping it "no point in wasting it right" he licked his finger "mmm" he chuckled slightly. "Heavenly" he commented whilst looking at her their eyes locked..
