"Twins wow of what age?" She asked whilst she pressed his forehead.

" Luv and Laksh are 8 yrs old"

"and tumhari family?"

"Mumma, papa and my sister Naina" she replied

"So your the baby na..?" She nodded "that's correct sab ki choti sab mujhe little one bulate hai..done" she removed her hands.

"Uff that was great" he lifted his head and touched the back of his head.. "it doesn't even pain anymore thanks" he smiled feeling relief now that the pain has vanished.

"That's great" she got up and stepped out of the tiny gap behind him.

"yes" he stood up too..she looked up at the sky

"What time do you think it might be?"

"Maybe around 8 or 9am" he replied she nodded whilst folding her arms

"Looks like it's going to be a hot day" she said feeling the sunshine alittle..

"Hmm maybe come let's get out of here I don't think you want to spend another night here" he said whilst carrying his blazer.

"no way" she replied

"But the water I'll just fill up the bottle atleast we have a stream" he said taking some. they then both started walking away.

"ok today we will have to be more resourceful also try to go back to the beach" he said as they walked

"I think we should put up a rescue sign" she suggested

"Yes in case they are sending out a chopper to look for us" he said

"Yah exactly" she said

"So water and food is most essential" he said

"Food I could eat a whole pizza right now" she whinged

"Pasta,burgers,Chinese noodles!"

"Stop..your making me more hungry" she said

"Right let's look around see if you can find any food don't touch anything that might be a threat" Naira just nodded what could be a threat though? She wasn't much educated in survival.

"ok" she said "Naira around here where I can see you" he said as he knows what happened the last time she wondered off. "Yes boss" she saluted him then walked ahead.. "food where do I look..that looks like something..I am hungry and I just want to have a bath and wash my hair its getting tangled.. she said running her fingers through it.

"This piece of wood looks like a spear and now after I have sharpened it against this rock it will be sharp I can use to cut food and to protect us from any danger" he started making another one he wiped his forehead as it was getting hot.

"So this is breakfast sorted out" she said holding 2 plums she was about to take a bite "no no i need to wash it first" she looked up at the sun rays getting strong and sighed..

"Bas we have 4 spears, water, Naira is sorting the food part out now we just need to see where to stay the night" yes it was early morning but its evening before they know it so it's best to decide from now. Naira held both the plums walking back towards him.

"Hey Kartik want a plum" he stood up "impressive girl" he walked towards her.

"Kartik look out behind you" she yelled dropping the plums Kartik moved out of the way  that guy was back! "You again?! He yelled "Naira tum age mat ana" he said "wahi ro" he requested to her speaking in their language on purpose. "What the hell is your problem" he said coming towards the guy and pushed him hard straight to the ground.

"Sorry I won't bother you" he shouted "you better not I have had enough of you" yelled Kartik he then turned to Naira.. "I think he is gone come" he called her, Naira walked towards him.. "Kartik tum hato!" She pushed him out of the way "great I wanted him out of the way" said the man holding her wrist. "Let go of me!" She shouted but the man was persistent.

"Not untill" Smack! She man fell to the ground Kartik hit him on the head knocking him unconscious  "Tum theekh ho" he asked seeing her she nodded fast with tears streaming down her cheeks. "Naira?" She then shook her head.

"Nai mein theekh nai hu" she said wiping her tears Kartik felt really bad for her. "Hey.." he gripped her shoulders "look he is out cold he can't hurt you now" but Naira wasn't convinced. "Naira.." he took her into his arms and her lips touched his neck.

"its ok he isn't going to harm you " he said whilst caressing her hairs. "I hope your right Kartik" she made his bare shoulder wet with her tears. "Thanks" she said coming out of his hug she looked at him closely "it's getting hot for you too?" he nodded "yes girl I had to remove my shirt" he said to her "you too..?" He said seeing her exposed in her bikini bra and her dress now made into a sarong which he saw worn belowher navel but she felt self conscious "sorry I wasn't staring I just-

She held his hand "I know that but let's get out of here" he shook his head "we will but first I want my plum you found it will great difficulty" he let go of her hand and walked over to where she dropped it. "Kartik please hurry up" Kartik smiled seeing two juicy ripped purple plums he picked them up. "Got it" he said she turned after wearing her dress up again. "You found them" she said smiling he walked over "no you did" he handed one to her. "Bona petite" he was about to take a bite "Wait! He looked at her with a puzzled look "first it needs a wash its unsafe na" he nodded

"Yes your right good you reminded me" he said and they walked away from that area both enjoyed the plums. "The beach can't be too far" he commented as they were walking for 10 minutes now she was unusually quiet "Naira you ok your not speaking much" she nodded

"I am ok..I am missing my friends especially Ritz and Sunny" he nodded "same I miss Arjun too"
"Arjun..I don't know him"she commented then noticed something.

"Hey look a bag" she picked it up. "Show me?" He asked and she handed it to him he analysed it and saw that it was a spacious ruksat. "I think the beach is near" he said seeing the rucksat as one of the signs "we can borrow it I guess" she said seeing that it belong to a storm victim. "Yes now we don't have to hold all the things in my blazer and your jacket" he said whilst opening the zipper. "Here is the water bottle" she said giving it to him. "Here are my spears that I made" she took one from him.
"Kartik you made this wow when?  She said seeing his impressive handy skills.

"Today actually 30 minutes ago keep that one in your jacket it's in case anyone tries to harm you it's a good self defence weapon" he said "nice I'll keep it if anyone dare come near me I will slit their throat with this"

"Remind me to never get on your bad side" she giggled " oi that will never happen" she said he looked at her " phew bacha gaya" she smacked his arm playfully "bas now stop it" he nodded 

"ok so we have water" he said

"Weapons" she said

"We need shelter.. and something to start a fire I picked up these flint stones" he saw her in his blazer. Kartik how do you know all this and what is essentials we need?" She asked as she was  curious to know.

"I saw it on a movie once which made me..he said

"Movie seriously this isn't a movie this is real life" she snapped "hey miss attitude if you let me finish..I did my research online too and these are the steps to take if you get stranded" he looked at her. "that's more realistic wait do you hear that?" She said stopping in her tracks "sounds like waves maybe?" He commented after hearing the same sound.

"Where getting near the beach" they exclaimed in unison

"Beach se yaad aya..she started talking to him about those out door showers "yes maybe do you want to shower? She nodded "I want to feel fresh" she replied to him "Naira I get what you mean and I think they should have them we will have a look once we reach there" he told her a few more steps and they reached Byron beach.

"I see two showers" he pointed ahead to where they were situated. "Yay" she jumped like a little kid. "Bas,bas come let's go there" he said taking her hand but she stopped him.

"Kartik we can go in a bit and I think we should stay here tonight" he turned ro her "we couldn't think more alike Naira" he commented then looked around "Listen let's gather something's and sit over there?" She nodded liking his idea.. they both found things that were helpful even some chocolates and biscuit packs.

"Look at all this" he said sitting down with her "I know it's good luck" she said seeing some essentials "mmm this biscuit..here have one too" she gave or rather shoved one in his mouth" he held it trying to swallow it "easy girl mm delicious" he said chewing it. "Isn't it" she went to eat another but he stopped her "Kartik do na" he shook his head "baad mein remember this will be dinner too?" She smacked her head because she forgot their situation for a second. "Your right I forgot for a minute"  he nodded "hey it happens don't worry"

"So what now.." she asked? He shrugged his shoulders "I don't know.."

"I know 1st impressions I'll start until today I thought you were a stuck up rich boy your turn?"

"I thought that-

"Why did you never come say hi to me during your time at school?" She asked "I don't know but I can ask you the same question why didn't you?" Naira was fidgeting with a stick she found and whilst running it through her hair  she replied "I wasn't really interested to know, granted your a good looking guy" he showed a subtle smile "thanks for the compliment and right back at you"

"Well after we get back home maybe we should say hi to each other at school?"

"Yes girl I would like that now that we are friends" he said

"Really we are friends until we get of this island that is" he was a bit surprised by her answer he thought they were getting on but clearly not as well as he thought.

"Yes that your right about" he said to her..their was an awkward silence in the air the sky was getting a bit dim. "Kartik?" He looked  across " hmm?" She threw the stick then spoke " Do you think people are looking for us?"

"Of course my papa will certainly be looking listen I'll try and make a shelter with these" she nodded as  he got up and she too stood up "come I'll help you" she said they somehow managed and keep the shade out of their made up temporary shelter.

"Not bad now I think I will go have a shower" he said to her

"ok.." he didn't understand such an answer "your not coming?" He questioned her "no you go I'll keep an eye on our stuff" she told him. He got up and "ok as you wish Miss Singhania" Kartik then remembered something else he needed to do first.
