"Where is the damn ambulance" Kartik couldn't wait he gathered up Naira and took a taxi" soon they reached a hospital and Naira was admitted. Half an hour  passed and no one had spoken to him and it made him nervous and worried. "Doctor?" The man was coming towards him. "Are you with miss Naira?" Kartik nodded "yes she is my wife is everything ok?" He asked "yes we ran some tests and took some bloods but she is fine the tests came back normal now I am just waiting for the bloods to come back but otherwise she can be discharged" Kartik sighed with relief.

"That's great doctor so she is awake now?" He nodded "yes you can go see her" he raced to the ward "sweetie" he hugged her "you gave me such a fright"

Naira hugged him tightly. "I missed a big opportunity today" Kartik sighed "I was working so hard for it too" she said in a sad tone. "Sweetheart" he said then cupped her face "non of this is your fault you didn't know this was going to happen, you didn't do it deliberately" she nodded and he kissed her temple. "The main thing is your tests came back normal" she nodded "hmm your right cave boy" she angled her face and pecked his lips.

"Mrs Goenka you can go home your perfectly well..you did faint but let this be a lesson don't skip your breakfast it's the main meal of the day!" Kartik pursed his lips in a fine line. "Thanks doctor she won't do this again" he spoke for her the doctor nodded and left the ward. "Right stop there only I am sorry but I was just nervous anyways I have lost that deal..chalo let's go home" he held her hand and helped her off the bed. She was a bit quiet on the way home, he knew she wasn't in the mood to talk so he didn't push her either. "Ok we are home babe" she went and sat on the sofa "you hungry do you want to eat something?"

"Stop fussing Kartik I am fine!" She snapped he sighed in annoyance she got up from the sofa.. "sorry I didn't mean that" she said hugging him from behind "a hot cup of tea adrak wali would be great" he held her hands "coming up wifey" she smiled when he addressed her as wifey she found it cute.  "I still don't understand why I fainted and the tests showed nothing" Kartik came with a tray he placed it on the table in front of them. "Its good na" he said taking her feet in his lap "hmm but strange right actually not so much they did feed a drip for some lost vitamins, your right it's all fine" she smiled taking her tea from the tray. "Aree your hands will get tired" he clicked his tongue "does it feel nice?" He asked her..

"Yah of course but.. he continued to massage her feet. "I love you Mr Goenka" she leaned forward with her lips in a shape of a kiss. Kartik leaned forward and they shared a few short sweet  kisses then drank their cups of tea.  "That was really nice it reminds me of my mumma's tea I am really missing my family" she said placing her cup on the tray. "Same here and our wishes we don't have that many left" she leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Do you think it's a problem if they finish? I mean we are using them less and are earning real money toh phir.. she commented. "Sweetie" he held her hand "the oracles will be visiting us this week we can ask them and clear any doubts, she snuggled into him "ok your right baby" they were in their own thoughts..  " I do miss my family but you are also part of that family now too" she said then pecked his shoulder with a smile. He chuckled "kya mein tumhari family nai hu" he turned to her.

"Of course ho mumma would just love you" she giggled and he found It too cute he just had to kiss her lips "mmm" she moaned as he lowered  her on the sofa coming slowly on top they were passionately kissing untill her phone started ringing. "Your phone maybe its work?" He got off her and she went to get it. "Hello" she answered it and spoke for a few minutes then hung up. "All ok sweetheart?" He said whilst walking over to her. "Hmm they won't go with my designs this time maybe next time I can showcase my work that's what her pa said. "Oh..babe its ok I'm sure next time it will all work out " she hugged him because she needed one from him he was always encouraging her and he is her support system.

"Its ok I was sad but now I am ok because i have your love and support otherwise I think I would be feeling really rubbish right now" Kartik kept caressing her hair and it was a great comfort to her, she was feeling sleepy in his arms. "Always babe and your mine too" she smiled hearing that "come lets go play a fighting game on your ps4 I feel like kicking some butt" she said imitating a kick at the end of that sentence. "Relax baby I think you need a physical workout and she raised a eyebrow "no I didn't mean like that although i would love to more than anything but i mean like work out in our home gym?"

"Wow what a idea caveboy" she jumped excitedly. "Oh shit what am I saying cave girl you should be taking it easy ignore me and forget that, tomorrow you can try the gym but right now ps4 se kaam chalate hai" she  nodded "ok your right even I am tired today let's go play  fighting games" she then took his hand and they took the stairs up. A few days passed and Naira was feeling better and was back at work again but sometimes she felt a bit down about losing her chance of a work opportunity. When there were no customers her mind would go back to  not getting her design featured yeah there might be other chances but when and how long is the wait she had no clue. Which was the frustrating part after working on it for months but then she got a call that the show was postponed and didn't take place she was happy to hear that she ended the call "Yes yes thank you universe..maybe this Friday it's more or less confirmed Kartik will be thrilled to hear this"

That evening Nigela the Oracle said she be popping by to see them she came around 8pm after Kaira had their dinner. "Hello Kartik lovely to see you" she hugged him. "Same here ma'am" he said giving her a hug "Naira is just in the washroom she will be down shortly please come have a seat" she nodded with a smile and sat down. Kartik asked the questions that were bugging them Naira came down 10 minutes later. "Hi Nigela" she said, Nigela stood up and hugged her and found some radiance in her hug. "Great so how are you both?" She asked as Naira sat next to Kartik and they interlocked their fingers.

"Great we are both working and earning money" said Kartik "and excelling in our career path. "Hmm great did anything else happened that I should know about?" Kaira exchanged a look.. "no like.. thought Naira "she did faint the other day" said Kartik Nigela had a curious look "oh really?" Naira cleared her throat "yeah but the doctors checked they couldn't find anything" she said looking carefree but Kartik saw the expression on the Oracle's face but he just thought maybe it's his imagination. "Naira dear can you come take a seat next to me?" Kartik let go of her hand "go on babe"  she nodded then got up and sat down next to her. "Everything ok?" She asked and the next thing she placed her hand on Naira's tummy "oh dear... she said.

"Is something wrong thr doctor said all is fine then why are you..  Nigela shook her head "the doctor would say that because  they can't see what I can.." Kartik stood up "she is pregnant I am right aren't I?" Nigela removed her hand. " what? it's not possible" she looked to Kartik and Nigela sighed "right are you both in a intimate relationship?" they exchanged a look "no" they said in unison. "Are you sure Nigela that I am pregnant" asked Naira. "Hmm by maybe 3 months. "What?" They were shocked.. "no way it's not possible we only consummated on our wedding night" said Naira. "And that was months ago" added Kartik.

"My dears you  were not suppose remember?" Kartik took a deep breath. "We have been careful and we hadn't been intimate before that.. it's just I wanted to spend the night with my wife,connect on that level i couldn't help it i love her so much" Naira forget their situation for a minute and looked over to him with loving eyes. "I love you" she mouthed to him. "Love you too" he then blew a flying kiss.

"tell me were you both wearing the shells when you were intimate?"

"Yeah we don't remove them at all I keep my feet ones on" Kartik nodded to her answer "and I keep my bracelet on most nights" he said the room went quiet all of a sudden. "If I am pregnant surely the doctors would pick it up.. Nigela held Naira's hand "yes a normal pregnancy but this is not that.. they heard a woosh sound a gold item appeared in her hand  "this will tell me exactly what is what" She held a gold locket and a screen appeared on the wall. Kartik blinked did that really just happen. "Right" she placed the locket on Naira's tummy and a image appeared on the wall"

"Oh my God that is.. Kartik eyes were shocked "our baby?" She asked "exactly and she looks far gone from that screen" said Kartik. "How many months?" Asked Naira she waved Kartik to come over, he went to her and she held his hand. "8 months" Kaira looked at each other.
