"Alone you go your way and I will go mine"

"Hmm because you did such a good job of that the first time around well fine then bye" he said walking ahead of her. Naira was feeling irritated and over took him barging him on the way he shook his head.

Naira walked ahead "damn i am so thirsty.. she walked ahead coming to a stream

"Yes thank you ganga maiya" she went over and bent down she put her palms together ready to drink the water..

"Are you mad!" He said hitting her palm

"What the hell and your still here?"

"That water must be contaminated" he said

"But I am thirsty my throat is so dry" she said swallowing her saliva

"Wait a minute" he dipped his hand towel in the water and and then took it out he hadn't use it at all so it was clean.

"Open your mouth" he said

"Nai it's your towel" he shrugged his shoulder and squeezed it drinking the water Naira saw him swallow the water..

"That is refeshing" he said

"I..change my mind" he took the towel after wetting it he brough it above her lips

"Open wide" he squeezed it and she swallowed the water down he was right it was refreshing.

"Actually we should've waited and poured it into a container and then drank from it, this isn't the safest option but kuch cup hai hi nai hopefully it should be fine" he said to himself

"Bas"

"No I still want more water" she said

"Hmm but it's my towel" he said not because it was his but because he didn't want to have the water once was ok but not anymore Naira stood up.

"ok.. fine mr arrogant" she started walking off

"What not even one thank you?" He yelled

"why tumne diya phir le liya so no, no thank you.. she sighed

"I wish Sunny was here and Ritz but no I am stuck here with him" she said under her breath then rolled her eyes and walked off.

"Naira you..oh no phir se chali gaye yeh ladki  pagal hai or what" he snapped

Whilst walking she looked around there were some trees and bushes ahead

"Maybe there is some fruit I can eat" she started walking ahead then stopped

"Woh Kartik use kaho kya? Haan otherwise how will i climb a tree in this dress woh to ladka hai he can easily climb right?" Over thinking literally was a time consumer.. 20 minutes passed.

"Hey there.. Naira turned around there was a man middle aged with a short beard looking right at her.

"Are you alone out here in the bushes?" He asked her..

Meanwhile Kartik was trying to think of survival tactics "water is most important which I have now filled up in this now I just need to boil it..that girl kaha chali gaye..

He gathered some things he found and then went off.. as he was going towards the bushes he spotted Naira.

"So my house isn't too far I have all the essentials even a warm shower" he looked her up and down

"Any food?" She asked

"Plenty dear" he replied Naira was tempted by all the luxuries he just mentioned.

"Naira dur raho use" he said

"Kartik he has essentials at his home" she was completely fooled by him.

" really sir you have food?"

"Um..

"Naira woh jhoot bol raha hai..

"Nai tum iss dur raho yeh mera mamla hai" she scolded him the man didn't understand a word Kartik came and stood in front of him.

"Sir I am ready too we will both come to your home"

"Um the invite was only for the girl" he said

"Are you coming or what..?" He asked Naira this time she looked at Kartik

"Um I...I don't think so"

"Like hell you aren't!" The man grabbed Naira's wrist and started pulling her

"Leave me, what are you doing?" She screamed

"Let go of her" said Kartik trying to remove the man's grip but he was a bit stronger.

"This isn't your business!" Yelled the man

"Yes it is!" Kartik said in rage and this time pushed the man to the ground.. the man nodded and actually feared him now.

"You come near us again then.. he said bringing a wooden log to him

"Yes sorry Miss" the man ran for his life once he was gone Kartik threw the log then turned to her.

"Aur tum pagal ho?" He asked

"Excuse me?"

"seriously itni stupid ho that you will go off with any stranger he didn't have any of those things he painted you a fake picture and you fell for it!"

"Why are you shouting at me?' She snapped at hum.

"Oh wow after what just happened tum he gale lagao?" You could've been in serious danger you silly girl" he said

"So that would've been my problem why did you get involved i-

"Shut up just Chup bas" he said ruffling his hair.

"He could've had a phone and we could be out of here by night" she said

"Don't be so naive and now just stay here only don't wonder off.." he said Naira was quiet her mind was reflecting and a slight delay to what just happen.

"Your right he was just making stuff up so I would go with him I am silly" she said

"Hmm and now just be careful you might not be so lucky next time" he said

"I was just hungry and irritated" she commented he came over to her.

"and desperate I get it..so any ideas for food?" He asked her.

"I saw some trees maybe it has fruits"

"Trees where?" Show me?" He took her by the hand so she doesn't go off again

"Just ahead near the bushes" Kartik walked over

"Well spotted girl..its a apple tree" he said she smiled

"So we have some food right?" He nodded

"Yes  I'll just climb up and shake it a little bit" Naira nodded Kartik climbed up the tree

"Be careful Kartik" she yelled he was on a branch and shook it the delight of hearing it rain apples was bliss only they could understand it.

"Gire?"

"Haan" she said picking one up with a smile then picked another one.

"I picked one for both of us" she yelled

He jumped down. "Ruko" he stopped her taking a bite

(Tut) "ab kya hua"

"We have fruit but it needs to be properly washed otherwise you can catch all kinds of diseases..

She rolled her eyes "ok then.."

"I should have this boiled but even I am starving" he took the bottle of water and opened it.

"Bottle kaha se aye?" She asked

"Mujhe waha beach area pe mile thi do apple" she gave it to him he washed it whilst he was the bottle fell from his hand.

" oh no" she said

"Koi baat nai tum khalo" he said as there wasn't enough water for his one. Naira took a bite

"Mmm bahut accha hai aur sweet bhi" she said while chewing it.. Kartik picked up the bottle from the ground and thought he needs more water..

"Kartik here" she said offering the apple to his mouth

"Nai its ok"

"no have a bite" he shook his head

"Tum khao it's ok " he said

"Please" she said in soft tone

"Haan ok" he said and took a bite "mmm"

"Accha haina" she said "hmm aur sweet bhi?"

"Yes ab tum khao" he made her take a bite

"Right we need more water I am going to go back to the stream" he said

"You do one thing gather these apples and tie them up in something" he instructed her.

"Ok but I'll come too your right we should stick together"

"Hmm ok let's go now before it gets too dark" Naira finished her apple then gathered the rest and tied them up in her denim jacket then they both got to the stream and Kartik filled up the water bottle.

"That beach area was good it had things around that we can use?" He said

"Yeah kuch blankets and things I remember" she replied

"Hmm kal Jana padega because right now I don't think either one of us have the energy to walk all the way there" she nodded in agreement

"For tonight we are going to have to sleep around here" he said closing the wated bottle.

"Here?" She said seeing the water everywhere

"no over there, there are logs too to start a fire" he said "chalo.." he said getting up he knew best so she followed him.

"Oh there its a bit specious that's good" she said walking

"Righ here we are.. he slumped down sitting behind the logs

"Nend kaise ayegi yaha I miss my bed" she said then sat on the log a bit further from him she looked down at him.

"Tumhari family mein kon kon hai?" She asked

"My family life is my private business, granted we are stuck here but we are not friends that I want to discuss it with you"

Ouch that was harsh but Kartik was the private type who keeps to himself  Naira got up

"Your right then we should keep ourselves when we are rescued I will go my way and you will go yours" she said getting up and took herself to the other side.

"Listen when you sleep make your denim jacket your pillow" he suggested but she ignored him however she did take his advice and made it a pillow.

Kartik washed an apple and ate it "right a fire but i can't see a thing" he yawned

"Abhi sojata hu kal dekhunga" he said they both tried to sleep but it was difficult they just prayed for the morning to arrive quickly.

"Sleeping here is so uncomfortable"she thought actually her mind could not quite believe that she is stranded with no means of contact with her family. Kartik too was feeling uneasy they were not able to relax but somehow managed to get through the night.

Day 2
6am

They were greeted by the sun Naira's lids fluttered she sat up in the log and rubbed her eyes.

"How is he sleeping he is going to have a neck ache" she thought

"Acho" she sneezed which broke his sleep.

"Ouch" he groaned rubbing the back of his neck then stood up.

"You ok?" He asked her

"Hmm but I need the washroom" she said shyly

"Hmm this will be your washroom anywhere karlo" he said she walked over to him.

"Chee mein kaise I mean its easy for you boys but us girls.." she said embarrassed.

"Its ok I'll just hold it"

"Really do you want kidney failure?" She was silent.

"Look waha jao and I'll keep guard and i won't look" he said then popped a mint hin his mouth.

"Mint? I found a pack in my blazer pocket" he offered her.

"Thanks" she took one and sucked it

"Ok I'll go over there.."

"Wait" he said then picked up something

"Take this water in case you need it" she nodded and took it.

Naira quickly went and attended nature's call and Kartik kept his back to her the whole time.

"ok done" she said

"Can I turn around?"

"Hmm" she replied

"great..do you want to eat 1st or..

"Is your head hurting?" She asked

"Hmm"

"Sit down I'll give you a massage" she said

"ok..thanks" he sat down without hesitation she was seated on the log whilst he was below crossed legged she started working on his neck..

"Wow that feels so good" he commented

"Good" she replied

"Honestly their is magic in these fingers, did you learn this technique?"

"Why should I tell you we are not friends" she said continuing her work.. he lightly chuckled

"Meri family mein hai meri mumma, papa and twin brothers" Naira smiled.

"Aur kuch poochna hai?" He asked relaxing his head on her lap.
