Naira started packing her suitcase, she was closing the zip.

"where are you going?" He asked coming through the room

"I'm leaving, this us isn't working, me staying here.. it's stressing me out and it's not good  for my baby" she said

"Why I told you to relax, so why are you stressed..and where will you go, let me atleast drop you" he said

"no it's ok mein chale jaungi.."  she said

 "Look atleast let me take your suitcase" he took it and carried it down the stairs, Naira slowly came down.

"Are you going to your papa's he asked her.

"Not papa's..

"Then..

"It doesn't matter.."  she said

"It's Kartik isn't it?" Said Salil, Naira was puzzled..

"You can stop pretending" he said

"what, how, when?" She asked

"I followed you..and saw you meet up with him" he said

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you, your right i am going to stay with Kartik, we are back together we love each other" she said

" What?!" Said a voice

"You love Kartik did I hear right?" Said Savitri who just walked through the front door, Naira and Salil looked at each other

"Salil yeh pagal hogaye hai?" She said

"Yeh sach hai, Salil knows it too" she said, Savitri looked at her son reading zero expressions.

"It wasnt intentional" said Naira

"But you did it you hurt my son, he sent you to work for Kartik, and well everyone knows his nature but Naira you know you are married woman still you.. what had an affair, how far did it go? I can't believe this!" She yelled

"We didn't mean to hurt anyone" she said in a small voice, then spoke some truth.

"But yeh sach hai mummyji yeh bacha Kartik ka hai, Salil ka nai" she said with a strong tone. Savitri was shocked!

"Yeh..bacha...kya!"

"It's true maa she never loved me!" Naira glared at him, he is acting like he is so perfect.

"I told you not to marry her, I warned you that this girl isn't right for you"

'Maa stop" he yelled

 'I better stop her or Naira will tell her about me with those girls'

"how characterless sleeping with your husband and your lover chee!"

"Maa just stop, look it's done now-"

"we never consummated our marriage tell her" said Naira

"It's true maa we never had a married life like that"  said Salil and Savitri laughed

"Oh in that case it's ok then!" She shouted

"Now it explains everything, late nights at work, sudden business trips, never around, always disappearing during family events" Savitri kept on taunting her

Naira is taking a while, I know I said I will wait for her call but..I think I should go see, he got out of his car.

"You never loved him, he loves you like a crazy person, but you were never good enough for my son" said Savitri

'Bas I've had enough, now I just need to leave'  she thought

She took her suitcase handle and started walking

"Oi ladki where do you think your going, you can't leave I've not dealt with you properly!"Said Savitri, Naira turned

"What?" said Naira, Savitri came towards her with highly abusing words

"Besharam, kulta aurat ho tum, I should've done this a long time ago! She screamed and went to slap her.

"don't you dare touch her!" Naira opened her eyes and saw her Kartik, holding Savitri's hand

"Even after what you both did, your not regretful!" She shouted moving her hand down

"Bua, if you want to blame the entire thing on me then I will take it, but she is pregnant so back off!" He yelled giving as good as he got

"Wah, what a proud thing you did beta, stealing your younger brother's wife" said Savitri

"You only get stolen if you want to be and I fell in love with Kartik" said Naira

"She is so proud of this, she feels she hasn't done anything wrong, carrying this paap in her kok" said Savitri

"Eh Savitri! khabar dar humare bache ke bare mein kuch ulta bola, Naira go wait in the car I'm coming" he said, Naira left with her suitcase

"Salil are you going to let him speak to your maa like that" she yelled, but Salil was ignoring her.

"Maa I'm tired of this, just leave it.. it's for the best" said Salil

"Yes Savitri bua listen to your son, after all no one is perfect not even him, isn't that right Salu?"  said Kartik and he shot Salil a angry look a warning actually.

"Bas maa let them go for my sake please" he said, she looked at Kartik.

"Your not welcome here anymore" she said

"Ditto bua" he said leaving from there.. he walked out and went to his car.

"Well that's it then" he said holding her hand

"It is but when papa finds out" she said, he placed a finger on her lips

"She wont let her son be humiliated just yet so don't worry" he said, but Naira's face was down. He cupped her face.

"When that happens I will be by your side so don't worry" he said to her, she nodded and he kissed her temple. She felt reassured by him.

Thank you for today I'm so glad you came when you did" she said and he smiled at her

"Of course darling I said I would be there and I meant that" he said, then he adjusted his seat.

"now baby just enjoy your pregnancy" he said she nodded and

They both put their seatbelts on, she looked as his hand went on the steering wheel, she took his hand and kissed it.

"Love you" she said

"Love you lots and lots" and she giggled at his cute comments

"I will drop you off and then go home to pack my things and then we will do something fun what say?" He asked.

"hmm awesome plan baby" she said pulling his cheek, he smiled and drove off..shortly they reached home he took her suitcase and placed it inside.
 
"I'm tired" she yawned

"Chalo you relax here my darling take some rest" he said making her lie down on the sofa

"I'll be back as soon as I can" he said

"Please don't go stay with me" she pouted, he cupped her neck

" aww mela baby I will hurry then we can do something ok?" He said

"ok"she agreed he pecked her lips and then left fo his home.

'I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulder, I'm finally away from that house and now I'm in my home, mine and Kartik's this feels right' she thought falling asleep

Kartik came and saw his dad had been discharged and resting at home, and Kartik confronted him.

" I'm sorry but it's true I'm not your biological father, but Kartik there is a bigger truth here much bigger" said Manish

"I'm not interested you just used me for your purpose and Tara and me you can forget it!" He said dragging his suitcase

"So you don't want to know who your real mother is come here and I will tell you"  he said, Kartik turned to him.. he walked over and then stopped midway

"I don't believe you know..and now I'm not listening to you, your a liar! He said

"please beta listen!" Manish heard the door slam

"You will listen beta and once you know the truth you will come beta, I've wronged you but I plan to make it right and your marriage to Tara will happen I can't lose that contract!" He said, Kartik wiped his tears, and placed his bag in the car.

"Bas now my family is just Naira and our baby, to hell with everyone else" he said turning the key and drove off, he parked up and saw Tara's name flash on the screen.

'I can't deal with her right now, I know I've wronged her in someway but I will tell her the truth later on right now Naira needs me" he said.. then he read a message from her

"the wedding invitation cards are ready?" he shook his head and deleted the message like it was never received. He went inside and saw the sofa empty, he then checked the rooms and then went to their room. He smiled seeing his Naira asleep on her side in the middle of their bed, he went and climbed onto the bed with a smile. He came onto his side and wrapped his arm around her waist, resting it on her tummy. She smiled in her sleep,and placed her hand over his.

" hmm Kartik, tum agaye?" She said holding his hand

" hmm darling" he kissed her cheek, she smiled and they both fell asleep.

" Naira made such a fool of you son, she made me look like a stupid woman aur khud gone off with Kartik without an ounce of regret!" She spat in anger

"Maa just forget it now, it's over she never loved me it was always Kartik even before I was married!"

"What and you still married her?" Said Savitri

"I found out recently if I'd known of course i wouldn't have married her they have a past" said Salil

"Son you better tell everything and fast, and Salil you maybe over it, but me no way no one makes a fool of my son and gets away with it, Naira will pay big time, they both will" Salil told his mother everything that happened and she was livid.

"enough I'm sorting this now" said Savitri

"Maa please don't do anything stupid maa, are you listening" he said turning her by the arm

"Mendak yeh wala bhi accha hai" she said picking up another maternity dress.

"Mujhe yeh wala ka colour zyada pasand hain dono lelo darling" he said he smiled watching her shop carefree, it was a private shopping session just them and some unknown business people. Kartik asked her to try on one of the dresses, she went into the changing room and tried a red floral one. Kartik waited for her outside, Naira looked at herself in the mirror, then heard a sound

"Tum yaha go wait I'm almost done" she said

"nai, nice room" he said sitting down, "but even nice view" he said watching her in the dress, she looked at him he looked so handsome in his suits always, she turned and said she is done and needs to change back.

"Mein madat karu kya" he said stood behind her. Naira went quiet feeling his hot breath on her neck,  he turned her and smashed his lip on hers, she kissed him back with equal passion.

"Kartik koi ajayega" she said breaking the kiss.

"Don't worry koi nai ayega" he said resumimg the kiss, and his hand pushing the lock on the door,  After their make out session they left the room and paid for the dresses

"Oh Kartik yeh dekho kitne cute t-shirt aur shorts, aur yeh shirt" said Naira  going crazy in the baby section.

"Darling baad mein hum..oh yeh dresses kitne cute hai" he said melting too.

"Tume hai baby girl chaiye?" She asked sweetly

"Hmm bilkul meri Naira jaise" he said

"Par mujhe ladka chaiye ek baby boy bilkul tumhara jaisa" she said

They both smiled, he nodded

"ok we will buy both" he said pulling her close and kissed her temple. Naira smiled and hugged him. They bought a lot of things coming out with bags full.

"Accha ab ghar chale?" He said walking with her back to their car.

" hmm..actually baby mujhe ice cream khani hai" she said seeing a stall.

"ok darling you get what you want and I'll put these in the car..Naira?"  he called but she had already crossed over holding her bags. He smiled shaking his head.

"yeh sherni bhi na, doesn't wait for anything, actually darling get me a strawberry flavour one" he yelled, she turned to him.

"Haan ok!" She said "bhaiya please ek woh strawberry bhi dedo" she said while licking her chocolate one.

"wait Naira has the car keys I can't put anything in the car.."

Just then a car sped past them, everyone on the road was shouting, Kartik's heart jumped into his throat.

"Naira!" He called Naira smiled holding both ice creams and the bags on her wrists as she was coming towards him.

"Naira stay there!" He said seeing the car driving roughly

"Oh shit she can't hear me, kya karu!" He didn't know he just ran towards her and the car was coming towards her it wasn't his imagination.

"Naira get out of the way!" he said running toward her.

"oh God yeh car itni speed mein?.." She thought and before she could register she felt a push and she lost balance and fell, the toys, clothes everything was scattered everywhere with Naira fallen on the ground.
