Naira didn't go work for a few days, but decided today she will go, she woke up and got fresh and came downstairs, she was surprised to find Salil downstairs.

" I do now, when is it, me and Naira would love to attend it" said Salil, Kartik told Tara to leave.

"I'll be off too and give her the good news" said Salil, Kartik remained silent he didn't know what to do.

" don't tell her, she will feel hurt..I mean it Salil, remember what i have on you" said Kartik. Salil came back, Naira was sitting on the sofa, she saw Salil come through the door and immediately got up.

"Did you see him" she asked, Salil nodded

"Hmm, he rejected your letter and asked why you didn't come in person"

"(Tut) I'll go" she said getting up and grabbing her purse ready to leave.

"Naira um..I'm your friend just remember a lot of things can change in a few days, go tomorrow I think he will be busy right now" she said

"why has something happened that I should know of?" Salil was about to say something but then remembered what Kartik is capable of.

"no I just think you should wait.." he said, Naira nodded

"Yeah ok I'll wait, infact mera mood nai hai, I'll make some lunch do you want to join me?" He nodded, Naira made lunch but her mind kept thinking on what Salil said.

"There.. is that better? I came" he heard her voice and looked up

"So Sail told you" she nodded

"So will you except it now?" She asked him

"I'll think about it.. the decision is pending" he said

"Whatever I'm going home" she said.

"How are you otherwise?" He asked her, genuinely concerned.

"like you care" she said and walked away slamming the door and left from there. Kartik wanted to go after her.. Tara came and told him she planned a grand venue.

"simple you me and the rings bas!" He snapped at her.

"But your dad has already made the arrangements" she said leaning her head on his shoulder, he flinched pushing her hand off

"Ok Tara your right what ever my dad says" he said.

Shortly Salil informed Naira they are going out, Naira wasn't in the mood but he convince her to get out of her head. Shortly they reached a venue, they were a bit late..

" Manish uncle he is here?" she asked Salil a bit confused

"Haan he called me and invited us" Naira nodded, she couldn't see Kartik, she thought he is probably working. They walked to the hall, and what she saw ahead was shocking for her.
