It was approaching 2am, the plane was dark,only some lights were on and only the plane sound in the background could be heard.

After a long time they removed the blanket and came up for air, both equally flushed, the kiss became deep they longed for more contact  she had ended up sitting across  his lap, like a child about to be carried up ,she scanned the view ahead, her arms were circled around his neck still, his one hand clung intimately in between her bent knees and the other behind her upper back supporting her hold so she doesn't fall off, everyone more or less were a sleep snoring away. Kartik had a cheeky look on his face,  he turned her face to him with a glint in his eye,then whispered something in her ear, her eyes widened.

"now on the plane?" She asked surprisingly.

"Hmm" he nodded  raising his brows at her with a naughty look.

"What if we get caught?" She said worried.

"We won't, many people have come on sherni I know you want to" he caressed her jaw line,  she remembered from their kissing that he pushed her seat hand rest up and pulled her on to his lap his body responded well to hers. 

"yeah of course I want to, they shared a quick kiss she was easily persuaded.

"let's go"  He said, they shared an eye lock, she quickly got off his lap with a excited smile, holding his hand, he got up with her, they shared another kiss, 

"and if we get caught don't worry I will handle the situation" he said confidently. 

 they walked hand in hand and they walked through the sleeping passengers, he led the way.

"only the girl I'm in love with can make me do crazy things' he  said in a husky voice  that made her smile widen,she felt goosebumps all over. They reached the restroom. She entered first and he came and shut the door behind him, it was so crammed, he stood in front of her.

"I forgot how small the restrooms in planes are, maybe this isn't a good idea after all" she felt a bit nervous and bit her lower lip.

" I change my mind" she put her hand on the lock to unlock the door.

"No you don't " He held her hand , she looked up.

"you made me too excited to back out now"

his eyes shone with desire for her,her mouth curved into a a shy smile, he pulled her hand away from the lock  and pulled her  into his embrace, they hugged with passion, Her body instantly started to relax in his arms. A a few minutes later she came out of his embrace, still holding him close. 

"Well let's see your idea out then" she winked pulling him closer.

"baby your- " she didn't get to finish her sentence, he kissed her lips with passion, she responded fully to his kiss, she wrapped her arms around his neck, forgetting all about what they were talking about, he nuzzled her inner neck, sucking her pulse point, she pulled at his belt..he took her to a world of pure pleasure.

After a long time a que started to form for the rest room, the door unlocked, Naira wiped her forehead as she came out, blushing, she was still in his world of love, she didn't even notice the que, only when he followed her,he  held her a little behind, he spotted it.

"What?" She said cutely

"was that not enough for you, she teased.

"It's not that  it's" she was so focused on him, all giddy , she walked out straight  to a que of people, they were facing 2 elderly Asian women right in front, a white woman holding a boy maybe of 2yrs, behind them, a elderly couple.

Naira instantly looked at him, she went a little red.

'Well handle the situation then' she thought.

The 2 Asian ladies looked at them suspiciously. Now Naira panicked,looking at him feeling so embarrassed He sighed, and said the first thing that came to his mind.

"Morning sickness," he said rubbing her shoulders, she looked ahead baffled by his comments

She elbowed him straight in the tummy.

"Ouch" he winced.

Ahem, he cleared his throat, forgot about the pain she just inflicted on him,there was a awkward silence he quickly came back to the rescue.

"we are expecting our first child, didn't want to let the cat out of the bag i know but its ok sweetheart"  he blagged.

'omg what is he saying' she thought

rubbing her shoulders, he could feel the anger in her rise, but he didn't pay much attention to it, and continued with his fib. 

"she is suffering from terrible morning sickness, hence we were in the rest room"

"oh dear said one of the Asian ladies, how many weeks are you gone dear" Naira went blank she didn't know what to say.

"just over a month?" he said hesitantly, rubbing his forehead.

"oh yeah, with my first son I had a lot of morning sickness, and I guess plane food doesn't really help dear.  she just nodded anxiously, she didn't have a clue what to say.. One of the ladies held her hand a sign of support, and said

"you know what does helps, keep eating small meals don't leave your stomach empty for too long," then other lady butted in and gave her different advice, Naira looked at Kartik who was stood next to her but a step away., she turned her head to him for help, he was keeping his hand on his mouth trying not to laugh, seeing her face he wanted to laugh out loud, she could feel her temper kicking in.

"thank for your all you advice, don't you want to go to the rest room? the queue is going ahead of you." She said quickly she just wanted to get away from these nosy woman ASAP, she made distance between her and Kartik less, as she was getting close to him the other lady came next to her,

"There is a space you can come sit with us"

"we can advise you some more" said the other lady enthusiastically who was on the other side of her, Naira was a sandwich stuck in between both women.

"if that's ok with your husband?" said one of the ladies.

"no.. Naira began but he didn't let her complete her sentence.

finally he will rescue me from these pagal women she thought with relief.

 "Hmm, ya sure take their advice the mother of my child to be well, give her all the blessings," her eyes widened in shock she turned to him

'oh you I'm so going to kill you' she mouthed to him.  They started taken her along,

'Ok joke has gone far now' he thought.

"Actually" he called, he came in front of them three, he gently pulled Naira towards him, she couldn't get away quick enough she draped her arms around his right side hip, knotting her fingers together holding him firmly.. at the same time he put his right arm protectively around her right shoulder. Both women looked confused,

"All she needs is a good night sleep, she will feel better, isn't it baby?." He said patting her shoulder, and patting her head with the free hand, as if she were a little child.

"yeah that is all I need I'm really sleepy." She snuggled in to his arms more, resting her head on his chest.

"yeah a lot of rest when pregnant, and you should be taking anti sickness tablets they work like a charm. Said the lady.

"ya I will" she smiled fakely and tugged on his t-shirt to start walking back to their seats pronto.

"thank, she will." He replied politely. They both started to walk still in that embrace, away from the rest room.

"jaldi chalo" she said to him in the  language only they understood

"and one more thing"  the woman yelled whilst joining the rest room queue again.

'ughhh now what!! her mind' screamed she looked at Kartik rolling her eyes and  she turned on her heel  with him, she plastered a fake smile.

"yeah?" she said trying tonot lose her temper.

"you really shouldn't wear such high shoes, during pregnancy, especially in early stage. 

"Hmm, new generation seems very careless" the other lady agreed with her.

"yeah I tell her all the time she just doesn't listen" he couldn't help but tease her, when the opportunities arrived, he was really annoying her with this whole fib, she got really pissed with him and stomped her heel on his foot.

"what the hell baby.."  he replied in pain, low enough for only her to hear.

"will keep that in mind" she turned back held his hand and took him to their seats.

"they are right you really shouldn't wear sandal's with such high heel, its a weapon."

"well sometimes I need it to rescue myself from such situations! She sat down on her seat, he sat down too.

"oh don't worry if a situation comes up I will handle it"  she mimicked in his voice.

"Hello i came up with the best excuse, what would you have said?"  she was silent for a few seconds.

"ok fine you win, but you didn't have to milk it so much, those 2 women were getting on my nerves. Dear you should be eating small meals, and are you taking anti sickness tablets, blah blah blah. Kartik couldn't contain his laughter, he was in fits of giggles, she turned to him.

"stop laughing its not funny" she yelled trying to keep a straight face, and hit his arm for acting out.

"but it is, really funny, your face" he was laughing so whole heartedly that it was infectious, she joined him in the giggles, both laughed so much.

"ok,ok stop" she covered his mouth with her hand.

"Now I am exhausted i need sleep" she leaned her chin on his shoulder looking at his eyes lovingly.

We worked out quite a sweat in there. He said to her in huskily tone.

"hmm," she bit her lower lip and began to blush and looked down feeling shy.

"we should get some actual sleep now", he yawned

"Agree, she climbed on to him and made herself comfortable on his lap,. He held her securely. He kissed her temple and they closed their eyes. 10 minutes later…
"Mmm" she squirmed uncomfortably. He opened his eyes and looked down at her,

"you ok" he asked with concern.

" ughh the plane engine is so loud I can't sleep!" she frowned, clinging on to his t-shirt, putting one finger in her ear trying to block the sound out.  

"Me either its damn annoying na... (tut) hold on  a minute," he fidgeted alittle, and managed to take his phone from out of his pocket.. she looked up at him with sleepy eyes. He unravelled the head phone, lets listen to some music, this will make the plane noise less.
"good idea., I want to pick the music, she grabbed  the phone from his hand, scrolled with her finger.

He yawned a little, watching the screen of his phone illuminated her face, even when wearing such minimum make up, she doesn't even need it, she is a natural beauty. He reflected, admiring her and smile crept on his face.

"Ok found one, she said excitedly she took one ear plug and gave it to him and took the other one and put it in her own ear.
"ah good choice baby" he cuddled her close.

"Thank you" she pouted her lips to him, and they shared  a quick kiss. Then she snuggled into his chest, feeling all warm, secure in his arms, and slept like a baby, they slept like that till the morning.

The flight landed, they both came out after collecting their suitcaes, they came into the parking lot, not really speaking but their eyes spoke volume.

Naira wanted to say something to him, Kartik saw that he too wanted to ask her something. He took her free hand.

" will I see you tomorrow?" He asked her.

She smiled,letting go of her suitcase handle, because she wanted to hold him. Her eyes took a quick glance to the side. He spotted her driver and they let go of each other's hands.

"Madam you are back, Salil baba is home now"

" what?" they said in unison

"What happened nothing serious na?" Kartik asked

"He is better than before, but you need to go to your papa's house" he said.

"Why driveruncle has something else happened?" She asked.

"Check your phone Arohi madam tried to ring" Naira checked it, she then heard the voice message

"Naira come straight from the airport  to papa's we are all there" she heard it and felt worried.

"Ok let's go there first" she said. Then turned to him.

"Come with me?" He nodded about to hold her hand.

"Driver uncle please put our suitcases in the car" he nodded and took both of them walking away.

They held hands,

"Holiday is really over welcome to reality" she sighed. Kartik held her other hand.

"I'm worried mendak what if it's serious"

" don't worry, I'm here na"

'We were about to hug, I really needed one from my mendak, but driver uncle came so we couldn't. Her mind reflected.

They both got into the car, Kartik sat in the back and she sat in the front, they don't know if they could sit next to each other and not touch and that would be risky. They reached, Naira went ahead and he followed her, he didn't follow completely, she saw her sisters in white salvar. Kartik saw Arohi hug Naira, and then saw her say something, she hugged Kavya and cried alot, Kartik's heart ached seeing Naira in tears. Now Kartik came in, and did namaste to everyone.

Naira turned to him

"Kartik dadi". She mouthed. He was about to come to her, but her papa came in front.

"Beta my mum is no more" Naira hugged her papa. Arohi took Naira to get changed into white salvar. They all went through to the body, Kartik spoke to Arjun.

"Salil didn't come?" He shook his head.

"He came home today, maa is with him only" kartik nodded.

The funeral was done, then the sisters were sitting and talking about memories. Kartik couldn't contribute he was feeling in the way.

"I'm going to go now" he said

"ok beta, thank you for coming and also for taking care of my Naira on the business trip"

He nodded. "My pleasure and once again my condolences" he dad nodded as a thank you.

"Naira's dadi was very fond of her, I wish she had seen her great grandchild before she left, now only she will see from above, but beta mein hu to atleast make me a dada" 

She looked over to Kartik,

"Kartik I just remembered that file is in the office na how did I stupidly forget it" he saw that she was trying to get out of the conversation.

"Naira I told you no one can get that file and to keep it at your house only..."

"Sorry, actually why don't I call someone, you can go on the terrace it's good reception there only. Kartik nodded and left. Everyone started talking..

" I hope he got through, why is he taking so long, I'll go check" I looked at Kavya and she nodded.

Kartik looked here and there.. he heard footsteps behind him, he turned around.

" I'm so sorry" he said. She nodded on the verge of tears.

"Come here" he opened his arms and she came in them and cried like a baby. He hugged her tightly.
