"Oh shit" Naira looked at him in embarrassment, "sorry" she said running away from him.
(Tut) Naira! He ran after her because he could see where she was headed.
"Naira dont" too late she shut herself in the bathroom. Kartik knocked on the door.
"Naira open the door!" Naira rinsed her mouth ignoring him.
"I'm worried" he then heard click of the door. He saw her face looking washed out.
"Baby you ok na" he cupped her chin. She nodded.
"I'm fine now" he caressed her jaw with his thumbs. "Why did you run away?"
"I vomited on you and.." he chuckled.
"so you think a little vomit is going to scare me off hmm?"
"I'm sorry" she said holding her tears back
 "pagal ladki,come here" he took her into a hug. She relaxed in his arms.
"Hmm"
" kya?" She said
" you smell"
" shut up" she said hitting his arm playfully.
" I'm just joking"
"Nai" she pushed his hand off with a pout.
"Haan" he pulled her forward holding her waist locking her in. She was looking down
"Hmm" he closed his eyes and  showed her his lips in shape of a kiss suggesting her to give him a kiss. Her lips broke into a subtle smile at his actions. He opened his eyes when he felt her lips touch his.
"By the way you look very pretty in this black number" Naira blushed after he complimented her bodycon dress. Then she pushed him back and ran to the toilet. Kartik heard her vomiting again.
Naira held the seat for a second, her eyes were watering she was feeling uneasy.
"here have this" he came to her level and made her drink some water., he held the glass to her mouth.
"oh god" she said puking the water out too. Kartik held her hair back and rubbed her back. She breathed heavily.
" you ok?" She nodded pulling the flush. She got up, he helped her up. She rinsed her mouth again.
" it's ok I'm fine now" she gave him a weak smile.
"Baby your all hot" he said touching her forehead, face and neck.
"I don't like this I'm calling a doctor" he said carrying her up.
"Nai I'm ok" she said as she didnt want to cause him any trouble. He ignored her comment. She turned his face to hers.
"We came for holiday na then" he nodded then placed her on the bed. He was leaving when she held his hand.
" Kartik I'm fine you don't have to get a doctor" he sat next to her.
"when your not feeling well, you can't enjoy na"  he got up again.
"I hate injections!" She sobbed. He turned and saw her tear stricken face. He went over and cupped her chin.
"mela baby listen" he sat down.
" no one said injection just maybe you need tablets esa kuch" she was quiet.
" I ruined the holiday" she looked down.
"no.. you didn't you haven't!" He scolded her.
"Naira, darling listen and tell me the  truth are you really feeling fine?" don't lie because then it will upset me" she shook her head.
"No I'm not I'm feeling this strange pain in my tummy and I'm having a headache and feeling dizzy and.."
"right I'm not taking any risks, and we aren't even in our country " he got up.
"But our holiday if I'm resting the whole time then?" He took a deep breath and turned. He sat down and took her hands in his lap.
"Hoga sab kuch hoga but first I'm getting a doctor to look at you no arguments!"
"Ok" she said in a small voice.
"Good, be right back" he kissed her hand. He raced to the room service phone.. it was engaged.
He came back to her. "Is the doctor coming?" He bent down and tucked her in.
"baby listen I'm going to go down they aren't picking up, I have my mobile call me if you get any worse."
"ok but jaldi ana please" he nodded then kissed her forehead. He left quickly and came to reception.
"Hi can I please get a doctor my girlfriend has been vomiting, and she is feeling dizzy and I'm feeling very worried"
"Hmm sir your travel insurance should have a number on it to cover medical costs" Kartik was getting irritated he started arguing with the man when he suggest a walk in clinic a few miles down.
"No she can't I want you to arrange a doctor to come to our hotel room to check on her what part are you not understanding!" The man found Kartik's behaviour a bit threatening. Kartik apologised reluctantly and was still suggested the same thing by other staff members. The only thing they offered was to clean up the room without charge.
"ok thanks for nothing fucking idiot"  someone tapped his shoulder and he flinched.
"Sorry I couldn't help over hearing your sister or.."
"My girlfriend"
"Right, your girlfriend sorry I'm a doctor, doctor Sanjana I'm not in duty but if you would like I can come check her" he smiled so much he hugged her.
'Yes thank you, thank you so much please come quick my girlfriend she has been sick a few times already"he filled her in what happened.
"ok all these symptoms sound like.. has she done a pregnancy test?"
"no esa kuch nai hai, she just had her period"
"and have you had sexual intercourse during this time because it's possible to get pregnant if your having sex during menstruation.
"we are always careful and we haven't had sex recently so it can't be that"
"Oh then it can't be that I will rule that out" she said. Shortly they reached her room.
"Naira" he called coming in, she wasn't in the bed.
"Baby?" He called. "I'm here" she said in a flat tone. He ran to her near the bathroom door. He held her shoulders. "Phir se?" She nodded, to his question that she was sick again.
"It will be ok I brought a doctor, come" he put a protective arm around her. She rested her head on his chest, holding him around the waist.
"Hello Naira right?" she nodded.
"I'm dr Sanjana I would like to check you over" she nodded and the dr told her to sit on the chair. She checked her BP, and heart rate, it was all normal but temperature wasn't
"Temperature is a little high not too much but a little"
"Kartik tells me you recently had a period so I'm ruling pregnancy out" she nodded.
"So your symptoms as described seems you have a stomache flu."
"Nothing serious that's good to know" he said looking at Naira.
"Yeah thank you dr so what do I need to take?"
"With stomache flu, it runs it own course, it can be one day or a few days" Naira's face dropped.
" the more rest you take, and take care of yourself you will recover fast so plenty of fluids, paracetamol will bring the fever down and let you sleep better" she nodded.
"also you both I would recommend to keep some distance from physical activity because the bug can be contagious"
" how long?" He asked.
"24hrs, but Naira once you start feeling better your temperature goes down that's a sign the bug is working it's way out of your system then you can enjoy your holiday" she smiled at her.
"But I'm feeling nauseous when will that pass.." she whinged.
"It's a horrible feeling I know..I have pills to help with that they work wonders , but right now I have a conference meeting my sister she is sharing a room with me, Kartik you can collect from her later in the meantime Naira take plenty of rest like I said drink fluids lots of it and the bug will leave your system fast" Kaira nodded thanking her for her time.  Once the doctor left, Kartik came and carried Naira up.
"Not too close baby I don't want you to fall ill too, I don't want you to go through this pain" she said clutching her stomache.
"(Tut) bahut pain hora hai?" He asked in a concerned tone. "I'm ok Sherni hu" she lied. He placed her gently on the bed.
"Hmm meri brave sherni" he was about to kiss her, but then she turned her head away.
"Sorry I forgot" he cupped her face and turned her to face him again.
"Yeh to allowed hai na?" He rubbed his nose on hers. " haan" she replied. They both smiled and then he hugged her, he then faced her,his arms resting around her frame.
"Now I will make you any drink of your choice because you have to stay hydrated darling" she nodded.
"What do you feel to have?" He asked her. Naira started thinking about it.

"What di here, and his name is Kartik, his girlfriend isn't pregnant because they aren't in a physical relation and she has food poisoning?"
" chup Alina don't say like this, poor guy's girlfriend isn't well so will you give these to him he will come soon I guess"
" ok di I will"
Naira was lying on her side.. Kartik was also on same position behind her, he had one arm around her waist, his other hand was  running his fingers on Naira's forehead.
"You must be feeling bored stuck up here with me" he ignored her comment, and snuggled more into her. She suddenly turned to him. "Please" she caressed his ear.
" go and have a drink and enjoy yourself for a bit"
" mood nai hai" he replied.
"Please baby you been doing nothing but take care of me I want you to relax too" she continued playing with his ear. Kartik was quiet.
"Ok fine if it will make you happy I will go for an hour"
"Exactly I'm allowing only an hour then I want you back here cuddling me again" she smiled. He smiled too.
"Ok darling oh and dr Sanjana's pills I will go get that now" he quickly got up.
"Baby if you feel uneasy or anything then"
"I will call you my darling ab tum jao" he smiled hearing her call him darling. Once he left the paracetamol kicked in and she dozed off. Kartik knocked on the door.
"Hi I'm here to pick up some pills dr Sanjana left for me to pick up"
"Yes you must be Kartik, I'm Alina" she shook his hand and invited him in.
"So girlfriend isn't well  here, these will fix her up nicely" she handed him the pills.
" thank you Alina, actually dr Sanjana she is godsend, I really didn't know what to do, I couldn't thank her even she did promise to go with us for a drink as a thank you"
"That's my sister always on the go, being a dr and all but I'm not doing anything we could have that drink on my sister if your free"
" ok.. sounds good" he said and they both headed to the bar.
Naira's sleep broke. "Baby?" She looked around.. " he's still not back?"
Kartik was laughing with Alina. "Right I better get going, it's getting late"
"come on it's not that late have another drink, your girlfriend is probably asleep till morning now" he sat down again. "She won't she will wondering where I am.." Alina laughed.
"ok fine one more.."
" that's the spirit can we get another drink" the bar man poured them another drink. Kartik took a quick sip.
"So you've not had sex recently, doesn't she do it for you?" Kartik was a bit startled.
" it's not like that"
"Your girlfriend is unwell, and my sister won't be back for ages we have the room all to our selves" she placed her hand on his knee.
"You coming?" She said moving her hand further up. Kartik held her hand and moved towards her.
