Naira gathered things to take to the hospital for Salil, today her mother in law was going, she didn't really feel like going.. instead she decided to meet her sisters for lunch.

"Naira di congratulations on your award" said Kavya.

"Thank you baby"  Naira hugged her little sister.

"You have done us all proud little sis" said Arohi hugging her with a smile. "Let's sit and talk"  Arohi sat and the girls followed.

"Sorry I haven't been around I've been so busy with work.. its been crazy" said Naira.

" and Salil how is he feeling now?"

"Much better di" the waitress came and they gave their order.

"Superman oh my God what are you doing here" said Kartik with a huge grin. Seeing his childhood friend Dhruv at his office door.

"Surprise batman" he hugged him. "Come in dude, what's up, chal sit, your in this part of town you are here on business?" Dhruv sat down, opposite to Kartik.

" not business batman, actually here I have something for you.. he pulled something out of his pocket and handed it to him. Kartik looked at the card.

" fuck off  superman are you serious?"  Kartik was gobsmacked..

" 100% serious bro" Kartik read the card.

" Dhruv weds Meghna I can't believe it, the biggest flirt even bigger than me he has bedded how many girls, who said marriage isn't for him, is going to be a one woman man, tell me this is a joke, I can't believe it" Dhruv laughed.

" sometimes even I can't but when you meet the one you just know, you know?"

"Not really.."  he scratched his head.

"that's ok, so.. you still the same different girl every week or..

"Or..? Actually I was seeing someone but then ended it"

"So you were in an actual relationship, wow that's huge, even we started out not taking it serious and then I don't know when I fell in love"

"Wait what do you mean you guys were not serious, you mean you both were in an intimate relationship and then"

"Exactly like that, from physical to emotional now to a lifetime together " he smiled. "She completes me, who were you seeing serious tha or what?"

" um.. not really, she is married so I ended it"

" Batman, married woman that was a rule we decided to not cross why did you and.."

"I didn't agree to any rule.. anyways forget about my situation it's done , you tell about my to be bhabhi"

Naira laughed, " seriously Jiju bhi na"

"I know talk about embarrassing.. being married for four years, it goes from romantic to can you pass me my slippers" Kavya laughed.

" Naira you must be still on your honeymoon period, do share something"

"nothing to tell" she drank her drink avoiding the questions.

" di shy hogaye" said Kavya nudging her sister's elbow.

" forget about me, tell us I heard that you are seeing someone" teased Naira.

"Chup di, I'm not telling anything because it's not true" she folded her arms.

" aww ok, thekh hai, we will stop teasing you" she gave her little sister a side hug. The girls spoke about other things and then desert came.. Naira wasn't really eating more rather stirring her ice cream and cookie.

"Naira what you thinking about?"

"Kuch nai di, just about work"  it was actually Kartik, even though she wasn't at the office her thoughts were all over the place.

" I just want to get away, hence I've taken some days off and also Salil is in hospital so.."

" Naira you want to get away from everything you deserve a break  baby so we are going, to go us three "she smiled.

"That's great yaar I will come and I wish you all the happiness"  he hugged him and bidded his friend goodbye. He closed the door and took a seat.

'Who thought Druv would settle down if it works then good for him, Meghna is full of energy reminds me of my Naira, I mean Naira. He corrected himself.. "pata nai why my mind keeps going back to her, ok i do miss her a little, addat si hogaye having her around everyday and now I won't see her for a few days."  He held his head.

" stop, just stop these thoughts pointless to think anything" he rested his head on desk and drifted off.

Kartik saw her sitting on the bed all decked up, he walked over to her, her veil was covering her face. He had married Tara today.. he walked and sat down next to his wife.

" Tara let me see your gorgeous face"

"Not yet Kartik" she responded. He then held her hand, adorned with mehendi they were. He kissed her hand.

"Now I will" he said but she smacked his hand away and laughed. That laugh was heaven in his ears.

" yeh hasi aur cherhe pe main har roz marta hoon" he lifted her veil, it was Naira's face that looked back at him.

" Sherni I love you" he said admiring her face. Its Naira he married. He kissed her forehead.

"I love you my mendak" they smiled at each other and their lips met whilst he lowered them on the bed him on top of her, exchanging sweet kisses.

Kartik's eyes opened. "Office?, it was a dream, a beautiful dream, no no, just a dream but Naira kyu, this is all Dhruv talking about wedding plans this is that affect, it's not real" he got up, but the dream effected his whole day. Even the next day too, that evening.

Beta you look lost..everything ok?" Kartik nodded.

"Just work is hectic"

"Hmm listen I need you to do something for me, go somewhere will you?"

"Yes sure dad you tell you know I would never deny you" he smiled.

"My good boy" he patted his son shoulder.

Kartik's dad told him to go Jaipur to attend his cousin sister Preeti's engagement he said he will try and Manish suggested  him to take a girl friend along with him, his dad asked him to take Tara.

"  Savitri already told me Arohi and Arjun have reached . That caught Kartik's attention.

"And Naira hasn't gone?"

"Salil being in hospital I guess not".

"I will try tomorrow, to leave after my meeting"

"Great you will represent us both" Kartik nodded. "Its best to stay away from her this will be good for her too if I go"

Arohi and Kavya had reached Jaipur already,

"I wish Naira di came too"

"Me too Kavya but Salil isn't well na so understand na baby" she nodded.

"I'm glad I took your advice this looks great" Kavya turned around Naira di she ran and hugged her.

"You came" Arohi hugged her.

"Yeah and Salil and mummyji insisted so here I am"  she squealed.

"We are going to have a blast" said Arohi.

" Naira glad you could make it"  said Arjun

" Hi jiju me too" she greeted him. They all chatted and introduced her to Preeti.

"Hi Naira, nice to finally meet you" Naira hugged her. "Same here"

" Kartik bhaiya has great taste you are beautiful" his name made her feel tense.

"Kartik nai, Salil my chotu brother " 'good Arjun jiju corrected her!'

"Oh sorry.. where is Salil. Then Naira explained everything, then Preeti's mum and  the other aunties came to meet her. They all had Then Arohi and Kavya showed her where they are all staying for the next few days.  It was a nice big room with an ensuite bathroom.

After the little mishap even Naira really started to  enjoy herself, it is a musical night kept by the girls family , and Naira was dressed in an orange lenga choli, with a short blouse, sleeveless,showing her midriff,  her make up light and simple, her hair open with slight curls. Everyone was dancing, going round in a circle.

"Naira careful" said Arohi.

"I'm enjoying di" she said happily, she bumped into someone and turned

" sorry I.. "  her eyes were shocked, . She nearly lost her balance, he held her hand. She looked up annoyed.

"You look nice" he said with a twinkle in his eye.

"Kartik you made it" Preeti came over to him, and Naira removed his hand off hers.

"How could I not" he hugged her but looked at Naira, she turned on her heel and left. Kartik's eyes followed her, his eyes fixated on her swaying hips, her sexy walk, her almost backless blouse, her exposed belly He was lost in her.
