"Like girlfriend and boyfriend..he sighed why was she acting oblivious  to all this obviously that's what he meant.

"So mendak wants to be this sherni's boyfriend"

"Ah..no this Sherni wants this.." she put her hand over his mouth "sorry what?..I can't hear you.." she then took her hand away and burst out in laughter.

"Tum na" he said with fake anger and held her wrists and pushed her on the couch, she tried to get up but he applied pressure coming in top of her.

"Mendak kya kar rahe ho koi ajayega" he got off her and she sat up adjusting her chunri, he ran his hand over her head. "so were you dancing to a new piece?"

"Hmm i was learning a new one and of course we should date I mean I want us to date too" she said then took his free hand in hers, they both exchanged a cute kiddish smile.

"So.. he said just then the doorbell rang.

"Dadi and papa have a key I'll go see who it is" she said getting up she went to see who it was.

"Naira" Tisha walked in her home

"Tell me how you did you do it? How did you get Kartik to break this rishta"

"I didn't tell him to do anything..

"Liar I just said he had to stay away from you or we are over..

"and he chose me? Well of course he did Shernimendak forever" said Naira

"I really liked him I saw a future with him i-

"But he didn't if he did then he would have tried harder, Tisha he just isn't that interested in you"

"Oh my gosh!"

"What?" Naira asked

"Your telling me to back off because you like him you want him! Come on admit it"

"Fine your right I do like him i do want him! We have a great time together and we are dating now Kartik dumped you because he wants me and not you, now do the mature thing and leave my house!" Said Naira

"Well I bet your glad now that you have him all to yourself!" Naira smiled at her words

"You know what I am glad because he is decent,kind,caring and my mendak and your none of those things" then she opened the door.

"If you have any pride left you will leave my home!" Tisha walked forward

"Good luck to you both, both are guilty of sending mix messages that's why your engagement broke too your both well deserved together! She stormed out and Naira slammed the door.

"Hey mendak I guess you heard all that?" She sat next to him.

"Every word I was tempted to come and intervene but I thought you were giving as good as you got"

"Yes my cutie boyfriend" she ruffled his hair "Listen I'll just get changed out of these sweaty clothes you can watch TV if you want" she said

"Yes Sherni" he took the remote and switched it on her house was like a second home to him anyway few minutes later she came back downstairs.

"That's better" he said seeing her walk in wearing a jumpsuit.

"You watching anything interesting" she came parked herself in between his legs leaning her back on his chest.

"Just the repeat episode of how I met your mother"

"We followed that show and such a disappointing ending" she said resting her palms on his knees.

"Yes but this episode is my favourite"

"mine too" she turned and rested her cheek on his chest whilst watching the episode, he just held her waist holding her close, she smiled feeling him kiss her cheek.

"Let's get out of here and go out somewhere" he said in her ear.

"sounds good where shall we snuggles?" 

"Somewhere we haven't been since we were kids" he said "huh?" She was clueless.

"Come you'll see" he said she got up and then he did that left her home and went for a drive.

"Our treehouse" she smiled

"Remember we would sit up here for hours playing games" she nodded

"Yes I want to see" she started climbing the ladder.

"Sherni be careful" he said holding her hand "aree I am ok.. you coming?" She said climbing up quite swiftly.

"Yes" he said following her up the steps, they then sat down

"Hasn't changed a bit" he said but she looked like she was looking for something.

"Here it is" she said

"Hashtag Shernimendakforever" he read off the wall.

"Haan we carved that there Remember?"

"Of course I also remember cutting my finger and you said stop crying like a girl" Naira giggled

"Yes I did but then I cleared your cut and put a plaster on it" she said in her defense.

"I remember sherni" he said she got on her feet again.

"I also remember that time I was upset and I hid up here everyone was looking for me papa, aunty, chachu sab but only you knew where to find me" her eyes moist

"Your mumma is watching over you Naira even now" she nodded wiping a tear, he walked over.

"Hey..he said as she came into his arms he hugged her frame.

"I know and I feel like after she left, she sent you in my direction and knew I would be in safe hands under your guidance my guardian angel" she hugged him more.

"Yes baby hashtag shernimendak forever" he then made her face him.

"I love our treehouse yes I felt emotional coming here but these memories make me smile too" she said still holding his waist.

"Same here" he said they then came out and started climbing back down, this time he came down 1st and then helped her off the last step.

"Now let's take a walk" he said holding her hand "I'd like that snuggles" they started walking hand in hand and reminiscing about old times.

"Oh..its still here!" She squealed "yay!" Like a little kid. She ran and sat on the swing he walked slowly towards her.

"Come join me" she said he came behind her "how high Sherni?"

"To the moon and back mendak" she kissed his cheek and then he pushed her on the swing but then they both got a call for complete different reasons he had sat down on the swing beside her to attend the call.

"There is a Puja today at home"

"I have to go to work they need me in the office in 20 minutes " he said gripping the chains of the swing. "Right then" he said getting up.

"5 minutes please?" She requested he nodded "is it urgent why do you have to go to the office?" She held his free hand.

"I don't know I guess they might need me to do something I'll find out when I get there" he replied

"Hmm a quick game of anywhere but here" he said

"ok France" she said

"French language" he said

"French umm.." she couldn't think.

"1, 2..

"Bread! French bread" she said good save otherwise he would have taken her turn.

"French toast" he said

"French fries" she yelled

"French food" he said and took her hand in his

"French plait" she said then she leaned her head to his.

"French.. he traced her lower lip with his thumb "kiss" their eyes locked and their lips met in a sweet mutual kiss which both wanted.

"Ahem" they heard and broke the kiss some little kids came with their dad so they both got off the swing and let the kids have a go he then dropped Naira off home and went to the office.

"So to Mauritis for 5 days?" He nodded

"Yes I leave on Friday" she was sad but acted normal.

"Well Its only a few days and we can video call everyday" she said whilst hugging him he held her shoulder and suggested something.

"Yah but instead of video call come with me" his words caught her off guard

"Come with you?" She asked whilst  coming out of the hug.

"Unless it's not something you would want..nevermind sorry I didn't mean to put you on the spot" he removed his hands from around her.

"But you will be busy in meetings and all that then what will I do?"

"You can go shopping and enjoy in the hotel or villa or wherever we will be staying at"

"Without you..I will get bored" she replied

"ok it's ok we can video call everyday I won't force you to come but I do need to talk to mumma I better get going" he said

"Mendak wait..will I see you at the Puja today?"

"Of course have I missed any till date? see you in the evening" he said giving her a smile.

"See you later"  she got busy with preparations for the Puja.

Later that day she was sat in the Puja and wanted to talk with him..finally getting a opportunity she left the main room and closed the door as a hawan was being done.

"Mendak there you are" she came then encircled his neck.

"Hmm what's up?" He asked she kissed his cheek then said in his ear.

"I was thinking about what you said and yes I will go away with you on Friday" he smiled hearing that and hugged her.

"Really?" He asked she nodded "yes" she said caressing the back of his head in their sweet embrace.

"What made you change your mind?" He asked facing her

"Me I'll miss you too much mendak" she said then pinched his cheeks but he pulled her hands on to his chest and leaned and  kissed her cheek his lips lingering there.

"not here.. she said he nodded "ok if.." he said

"Come with me" she said taking him by the hand shortly they reached upstairs not far from her room.

"Naira stop" he said she turned to him.

"I think I should go alone on Friday" he blurted out

"as you wish..

"as you wish?" He said then held her shoulders

"Sherni this is me your talking to tell me what is going on in your mind do you not want to date me?"

"What are you saying mendak" she gripped his collars "now listen to me I told you we should date because I want to I didn't just agree on it because you suggested it samjhe tum!"

"ok calm down Sherni.. " he took her hands gently off his collars.

"and Mauritius you better be booking my stay there because I am coming with you!"

"good!

Single or double room? I'll book a single" He asked her.

"Why a single room? we sleep together in your room and you have stayed here many times too" she said

"So shall I book us a room together?" She held his waist

"Pagal questions kyu puchte ho?" She leaned on him holding him around his back.

"Obviously book a double room I will share my boyfriend's only" he smiled hearing her address him that way.

"So..does my girlfriend want to share a bed with her boyfriend?"

"Mendak anymore stupid questions then..

"got it the answer is yes" he hugged her too

"Obviously we share a bed here then why change abroad we should keep it the same" she said whilst still in his embrace.

"Hey cuddles?"

"Hmm?" She replied with a smile as she listened to his heart beat and content in his arms.

"What will you tell your papa when he asks where your going" her eyes flew open and she got off him.

"Papa ko boldungi kuch but dadi ko kya bolo" she asked him.
