"Naira itna theekha maat kha bimar par Jaogi, bhaisaab ise sada do"

"Nai mujhe thekha khana hai bhaisaab" she said and Kartik thought she won't listen the man made 2 plates one spicy and the other normal.

"Ready 1,2 3" she said then put the 1st one in her mouth "mm it's so tasty bhai Saab aur mirchi dalo"

"Naira! Bas I mean it this much mirchi isn't good for the stomach"

"I can handle it's not the 1st time" she said ignoring his worrying nature they continued the competition after 2 plates Kartik gave up.

"yay mein jeet gaye yay!" She jumped excitedly

"Yes very good tum jeet gaye ab ghar chale" she nodded " Haan chalo chalo"

"But 1st drink the water" he said unscrewing the bottle "huh water is for wimps" she pushed it back to him.

"Look this time I will not listen drink it" he made her take a sip " unnn " she whinged pushing the  bottle back.

"Fine then I am leaving" he walked away

"Mendak" she called which he turned to she held her ears "sorry" she then took a few gulps of the water.

"Hmm better" he took her by the hand "Kartik hi"

"Roshini tum yaha" he let go of Naira's hand she watched them both chat whilst she drank her water  the girl hugged Kartik and left.

"Your in love" Naira teased him

"No I am not-

"Kartik and Roshini" she giggled

"Sherni do you want to walk home stop this teasing she is just a friend bas"

"Good your too good for her anyways"

"Really so who is good enough for me?" He asked her

"Hmm... no one" she said walking ahead he pulled Naira by the waist

"Come on yaar tell me seriously no one why is that?"

"Because tum ho hi ese itne acche one in a million I'll choose a girl for you to marry deal?"

"No deal and shouldn't we be going your papa and dadi will be waiting that boy is coming to see you na" she nodded

"Oh yah I forgot" she said in such a carefree not really bothered attitude

"And then we have that party after na mendak" she said

"Aree baby why do you still want to go"

"because I want a fun night out and that too with you, after you started work you have become Mr Boring!" She said then stuck her tongue out.

"Mr boring aur mein..yah I am a little cautious but boring that hurts yaar" he pouted

"Aww sorry sorry" she kissed his cheek "then you will come?"

"Of course but when the guy comes I won't"

"mendak esa kyu?" She hugged him resting her cheek on his chest

"This is your potential life partner it should be just the both of you"

"I don't like doing anything without you..but I guess your right"  he hugged her resting his cheek on her head "that's like my good girl, listen" he held her shoulders

"Then we will go and party ok" this made her smile

"Yes and you better not back out!" She said

"If I do then come drag me out of bed"

"You know I will" she said and Kartik knew this wasn't a joke she was dead serious.

"Ab chalo" he put his arm around her and they walked out of the mall.

Naira got ready and then did her make up and styled her hair, Kartik was at home busy doing work on his laptop.

"Kaun disturb kar raha hai is waqt" he opened his phone.

"How am I looking?" He shook his head. Naira opened her phone.

"Like a clown? iss mendak ko mein chodungi nai" she threw her phone on the bed.

"Maybe I shouldn't have sent that..she hadn't messaged back so far..which can mean she is coming here or..too late" he turned around

"Clown seriously?" She said climbing in through his window "mein to mazak kar raha tha you know me" he chuckled "Aree Naira" he said as she pushed him down on the bed

"Ab bolo phir se" he held her firmly on top "c-lown" he said trying to suppress his laughter

"I hate you" she tried to get up

"Sherni relax"

"Chodo mujhe" she smacked him "ouch" he said releasing her.

"I am going" she said walking to the window

"Behosh hojayega kasam se" she turned around to him "hmm ek ladki ko dekha to esa laga jaise khelta gulaal jaise...he walked up to her as he sang. "I was just kidding bahut pretty lagrahi ho tum"

"Thank you" she hugged him he shook his head "pagli isme thanks kya jo sach tha maine wahi to bola"

"Kartik.." he rubbed her cheek "hmm?"

" I um.. she gagged

"Aree sherni all over my favourite t-shirt" he said "s-sorry" she said

"Washroom" she ran and vomited further he took his tee and removed it.

"You ok?" He rubbed her back as she was still vomitting in the toilet "see this is why I said no spicy food but you wanted double waiit triple" he held her hair back.

"Bas hogaya" she said then flushed the toilet but then had trouble standing up he held her hand  "rinse your mouth" she did so at the sink, she was feeling a bit light headed.

"Easy" he said and she rested in his arms
 
"Mendak now how will I go looking like this?" He cupped her face

You can use mumma's make up come" he walked her to the room and let her do her make up.

"Aunty has nice make up this lipstick shade looks good" she said pressing her lips together whilst combing her hair just then her phone rang.

"Haan papa bas arahi hu" she said ending the call. Kartik was sitting on his bed busy texting he was again in a fresh tee.

"mendak I am going now papa ka call aya tha" she said coming into his room

"Yah babe see you" he said not even looking up.

"Whatever I'll see you later for the party be ready for 8pm" he sat up

"Wait" he held her hand "ladke wale poch gaye?" She took his phone out of his hand.

"Sherni"

"If you look at me from your phone for a minute then I can tell you na"

"Hmm tell me how are you feeling nervous or anything?" She clicked her tongue

"not at all if we don't vibe then byebye anyways mujhe to party mein zyada interest hai" she said "this is for papa I am doing after mumma's death he was broken" he nodded

"Hmm ok you go I'll come pick you up at 8" she gave him back his phone

"Here I'll take the ladder down" she said going

"Wait" he jumped off the bed

"Hmm?" He held her hand "pagal ho you just vomited and were feeling dizzy marne ka irada hai come with me" he took her by the hand and took her to the kitchen.

"What you doing" she asked as he prepared a drink.

"Drink this you will feel better" he said she took a sip

"Yuk mujhe nai pena chii" she said making a face

"Fine then no party"

"That is blackmail" she said

"Yes but if you don't drink this forget this pool party"

"Hey wear those green trunks they look cute on you" she said

"yes but if you don't drink this then..Wait I'll add some honey" he then gave it back

"Better?" She nodded "yes" she started drinking it.

"Done"

"That's like a good girl" he kissed her temple and then took the cup to the sink.

"Right I'll see you later" she said

"Yep see you cuddles"

"Laters snuggles" she shut the door and went towards her home.
