The episode starts with a leap.

LEAP OF 4 YEARS

A girl of around 27 years is running behind 2 kids of around 3 years old.

Girl:- KAIRA. KARNA. Come on drink your milk.

The kids are none other than Kaira Karna.

Kaira:- Mumma mujhe nhi peena.

Karna:- Mujhe bhi nahi peena. Aap peeyo Mumma.

Girl:- You both will get beatings from me.

The kids kept running. Suddenly the girl's foot tripped and she was abt to fall when a man held her.

Boy:- NAIRA.

The girl is none other than Naira.

Naira:- Kartik.

The boy is none other than Kartik.

The kids started crying. They came running to Naira and hugged her tightly. They both held their ears.

Kaira/Karna:- Sorry Mumma.

Naira bent in front of them. She held their hands and kissed on them.

Naira(wiping their tears):- You don't have to be sorry. Mumma loves you.

Kids happily hugged Naira.

Kids:- We love you too Mumma.

Kartik:- What abt me?

Kaira and Karna looked at each other. They showed their tongues to Kartik. Kartik made faces while Naira,Kaira and Karna giggled.

Karna:- MENDEK Papa...

Kaira:- Mumma why you kept Papa's name MENDEK?

Swarna came from behind.

Swarna:- I'll tell you.

Kids(running to Swarna):- Dadi...good morning.

Swarna kissed on their cheeks

Swarna:- A very good morning.

Kaira:- Dadi Batao na. Why Mumma calls Papa MENDEK?

Swarna:- Your Papa is scared of your Mumma. When they argue na....your Papa always lose. Frogs do tar tar na?

Karna:- Haan Dadi.

Kartik:- Oye....

Naira:- Don't you dare touch my kids.

Kartik:- Your kids?

Naira:- Haan Ji my kids.

Kaira:- Mumma..

Naira:- Kya hua Kaira?

Kaira:- Mujhe aaj school Nahi jaana.

Karna:- Mumma mujhe bhi nahi.

Naira:- Kya bacha?

Karna:- Arrey Mumma Aaj Nani Ka birthday hai...

Kaira:- And we have to buy gifts for Nani.

Naira:- Oh so babies want to buy gifts for Nani.

Kids:- Yes Mumma.

Naira:- Par baby agar aap school miss karoge toh Nani ko Acha Nahi lagega. Hum ek kaam karenge. Jab aapka school finish hoga na toh Mumma aapko gift shop leke jaayegi...

Kartik:- Aur vaise bhi Aaj aapka school sirf 11:30 tak hai.

Kaira/Karna(hugging Naira):- We love you Mumma. You are the best Mumma in this world.

Naira:- You are my best kiddos in this world.

Kartik:- Babies me?

Kids(together):- MENDEK Papa...

Kaira,Karna,Swarna and Naira giggled while Kartik made faces.

Naira took Kaira and Karna to room. She made them ready for school.

Naira:- You know what I made for you in tiffin?

Kaira:- Aloo parantha.

Karna:- Bread toast.

Naira:- Bingo! My kids are very intelligent.

Karna:- Arrey Mumma we are your kids na. We will be intelligent.

Naira kissed on their cheeks. They kissed on Naira's cheeks. Naira and Kartik dropped them at school.

Kartik was driving while Naira was staring out.

Kartik:- Kya hua Naira?

Naira:- Kuch nahi. I was thinking abt Mumma.

Kartik:- Matlab?

Naira:- I think Mumma is hiding something from me.

Kartik:- Naira May be you are overthinking.

Naira:- Nahi Kartik didn't you notice change in Mumma's behaviour.

Kartik:- Haan I noticed the change but....

Naira saw Akshara coming out of hospital.

Naira:- Kartik stop. See there Mumma...

Kartik saw Akshara sitting in the cab.

Kartik:- But why Maa came here?

Naira without saying anything went inside the hospital and inquired abt Akshara.

She went to Doctor's cabin.

Doctor:- Yes...

Naira:- I'm Naira. Mrs Akshara Singhania's daughter.

Doctor:- Please Sit.

Kartik also came inside.

Naira:- He's my husband.

Kartik and Naira sat on the chairs.

Naira:- Doctor why Mumma came here?

Doctor:- She didn't tell you anything.

Naira:- No she didn't...

Doctor:- Actually she knows me since many years. I asked her to tell everyone everything but she refused.

Naira(worried):- What happened to Mumma?

Doctor:- She is having BLOOD CANCER.

Naira and Kartik were shocked. Shock was understatement for them.
