AT SINGHANIA SADAN

Naira rubbed her head as she walked out of her bedroom having put kairav to bed . Suddenly kairav came .

Kairav - mumma apko pata hai laksh mujhe keh raha tha ki woh uske papa ke saath itni masti karta hai . Woh cricket khelta hai , swimming jata hai aur video games bhi khelte hai . Kash mere papa bhi hote mere saath .

Kairav just mentioned it in a casual tone . She didn't seem too bothered by not having a father but those words now gave way to deep rooted fear of naira .

Naira pov

Kya maine sahi kiya kairav ko adopt karke . Maine sirf kairav ko isliye adopt kiya kyuki mujhe ek connection feel hota hai usse . I know maine yeh decide kiya hai ki main kabhi shaadi nahi karungi aur physical relation toh kabhi bhi nahi banuygi par kya maine kairav ko adopt karke sahi kiya . Kal ko agar uske real parents aa jaye toh phir main kya karungi mujhe toh usse bahaut lagav ho gaya hai main khud ko uski maa manne lagi hu .

Aisa nahi hai ki mujhe bacche chaiye hi the par agar kal ko uske parents aa  gaye toh kya main usko chod payungi . Kya maine kairav ko adopt karke sahi kiya ???

Gayu noticed her little sister 's fallen face and invited her to sit beside her .

Gayu - kya huaa naira kaha khoyi huyi ho .

Naira - ek baat pucho kya maine kairav ko adopt kar ke sahi kiya .

Gayu ( shocked ) - kya huaa naira achanak se itne time baad yeh swal kyu puch rahi ho .

Naira - dii maine usko adopt kiya hai kyuki mujhe khushi milti hai uske saath par kya main selfish hu kya maine uske baare main nahi socha. Main usko sab cheez de sakti hu par papa ka pyar nahi de sakti .

Gayu - I agree ki tu aaj yeh soch rahi hai ki tune sahi kiya ki nahi ek baat batao agar apne usse adopt nahi kiya hota aur kisi aur ne kar liya hota aur bhagwan naa kare ki woh log sahi naa hote aur kairav ke saath bura behave karte kya woh sahi hota. 

Naira nod in no ..

Gayu - exactly naira ek baat puchu kya rishta hai tera kairav ke saath kuch bhi toh nahi phir bhi tu jab usse pehle baar mili toh tujhe usse attachment huyi . Bol kya rishta hai tera usse.

Naira - dil ka rishta hai mera usse . I love him kaise aur kab baas hogaya .

Gayu - exactly dil ka rishta hai tera tujhe yahi daar hai naa ki kahi agar uske real parents aa gaye aur usse le gaye toh tu kaise rahegi uske bina . Bhagwan ne khud tum dono ko milwaya hai woh kyu tumhe alag karege . Aur rahi baat papa ki woh kami khaelgi par jab taak tu hai naa uske saath usse kisi aur ki zaroorat nahi hai .

Naira somehow convinced . She thanked gayu and hugged her .

Kartik pov

Yes  I will be alright in . I said to mr yadav and after that I disconnected the call . Today I given my driver the day off since I needed to do this alone . Ab mera and kairav ka dental record match ho gaya hai aur yeh proof ho gaya hai ki main uska papa hu . Finally aaj mere kairav ki adopted mother ke saath meeting fix ho gayi baas woh mujhe mere bete se milne degi yaa nahi . .

I was sat in the courtyard of the agency and tried to distract myself . . Kuch hi din pehle mujhe mr yadav ka call ayaa ki kairav ke biological father usse dhundte huye agency aaye the . Investigation bhi almost khatam ho chuki hai  . Koi Kartik Goenka naam hai kairav ke papa ka .

Many thoughts came in her mind but her trance broken by someone .

Receptionist - mam mr yadav is calling you into his office .

Naira just smiled and made her way into mr yadav office.

Naira opened the door of the office and greet mr yadav who asked her to take a seat . She was about to pull the chair out but the sight she greeted was least expected.  kartik was sitting in the chair beside her
He looked up their eye meet and then their eyes widened in shock. 

Kaira ( together ) - tum

Kartik - tum yaha kya kar rahe ho .

Naira ( angrily ) - tum yaha kya kar rahe ho. 

Mr yadav - aap ek dusre ko pehle se  jante ho ???

Naira - jee haa unfortunately main iss mendak ko janti hu jo hamesh taar taar taar karta hai .

Kartik - oh please ab tum sherni ki tarah

Mr yadav ( requested ) - please aap dono chup kijiye.  Aap dono toh baas shuru ho gaye . Mr Goenka yeh hai ms singhania aur ms singhania yeh hai mr Goenka I mean mr kartik goenka kairav ke biological father.

The anger that naira felt as Kartik just double in intensity .

Naira ( angrily ) - to tum ho uske father . Kaise parent ho yaar tum mr kartik goenka ??? Tumhara beta  char saal se Annath asharam main reh raha tha aur aapko aaj phursat mili hai aane ke liye ?? Kaha the aap itne saal.

Naira 's word stung like acid to Kartik's heart . But before he could answer mr yadav jumped to his defence as he know Kartik goenka very well.

Mr yadav - nahi Ms naira you are higly mistaken . Inhe baas kuch din pehle hi pata chala aur jaise hi pata chala waise hi woh unhe dhundne aaye .

Naira's anger mellowed a bit at that revelation.  It mean he hadn't abondend . But she was still genuinely confused and scared .

Naira - aise kaise pata hi nahi tha ki inka ek beta bhi hai jo ek orphanage main reh raha tha . Aur aaj kyu aaye hai aachanak

At this point Kartik decided to interject. 

Kartik ( angrily ) - listen ms naira Singhania tumhe koi zaroorat nahi hai mere personal life main dakhal dene ki .  Aur dusri baat yeh ki mujhe abhi issi waqt kairav se milna hai aur usse dekhana hai. 

Naira - woh chota baccha hai koi property nahi hai jispe aap apna right claim kar rahe hai . Maine usse legally adopt kiya hai aur woh mere family ke saath comfortable bhi hai . Main aise hi nahi aapko kairav de du.  Main uski maa hu he is my everything.

Kartik - dekho main samjh sakta hu that he is part of your family . But woh mera beta hai . Mere family uska wait kar rahi hai his real family .

Naira - aap sahi hai rahe hai . I understand that you are  very desperate to meet him par itni jaldi kaise main aapse milwa du pehle mujhe usse baat karni hogi aur jaab woh maan jayega I will arrange the meeting .

Kartik - that's great ms singhania .

Kartik was surprisingly relived  . This women turned out to be more reasonable than he give her credit for .

Kartik - thanks naira yeh mera card hai jab aap usse baat karle mujhe zaroor batana .

Naira - okk
