After reaching home, Keesh made Naira sleep peacefully in her room. Keerti sat beside a sleeping Naira caressing her head. While Naksh was sitting on the sofa nearby.

K: Naira is in so much pain Naksh. I cant see her like this.

N: Keerti ji don't worry everything will be ok as time passes by. Don't worry. Our Naira is strong. She has fought till this day and I'm sure she will also in future.

They both consoled each other and slept in Naira's room. Next morning, the sun peeped through the room, signalling everyone to wake up. Naira flickered her eyes and opened them to see herself in her room. She sat in her bed holding her head as it was heavy because of drinking last night. She didn't realize Keesh in the room and stood up to freshen up. While going towards the washroom, she saw the calendar and the date on it. She was shocked. Soon tears started flowing down her eyes and she quickly ran to the bathroom, closing the door with a bang. Hearing some noise, Keerti and Naksh woke up, only to see Naira disappeared. They both panicked as they knew what was today. They ran and banged on the door calling Naira's name.

N: Naira Naira open the door.

K: Naira open the door.

Still no voice except if the water continuously running. They both panicked looking at each other's faces. The sound of the water stopped. Naksh banged on the door again when Naira came out.

N: Naira why did u close the door with a bang and why was the water continuously running? And why are you wet.

Na: Bhai vo there was some problem in the shower and I was trying to close it that's why I got wet. Nothing else.

N: Now you will lie to me. I'm your brother Naira I know you were crying inside. See your red eyes.

Naira ignored her brothers gaze and walked to her closet taking out her clothes.

K: Naira where are you going.

Na: College bhabhi where else.

N: But Naira today......

Na: Bhai please I don't want to talk about it. That was my last and will be my past. Excuse me I have to get ready.

Naira walked past them and went to the bathroom to get ready. She closed the door and a tear slipped down her eyes.

At college

Naira entered the college with a dull face. She was holding a paper in her hand and walking towards her classroom. She suddenly bumped into a person, only to be Kartik. They both shared an eye lock when Naira handed a paper to him and then went away from there. Kartik who was confused with the happenings, looked at the paper in his hands. He opened it and started reading it.

Dear Kartik,
Happy Marriage Anniversary. IDK if you remember it or not but this day we tied a knot and took vows but unfortunately we couldn't respect, obey or fulfill them. Sometimes I think that maybe we weren't made for each other. Our love, marriage everything was just......leave it it doesn't matter now. Marriage is based on trust but we both didn't trust each other........not only in Shubham's death but also in other cases. And I think it's all my fault. If I told you that day about Shubham then maybe today we would be living happily but maybe god didn't want it. Everyday I die without you. I think that you will come but then it turns to be a dream for me everyday. So I have took a decision. People say that it is better to die at once that dying everyday. So here I am. Today I will go on this path. On this day we started our beautiful journey and today I will end it all. Plz forgive me for any mistakes I have done. I'm sorry.......And try to move on.......

Kartik was confused reading the note. He couldn't get anything. Re read the note again only to realize Naira's words behind it. He ran in the direction Naira ran to and saw the door to the terrace open. The scene in front of him made his breath stop right at the moment.

There Naira was standing on the top of the roof, all ready to jump. Just one more step and she would be gone. She took a step further but Kartik ran and held her arm drafting her back. Naira was startled by someone's pull, but saw Kartik. Kartik saw Naira face which was full of tears. Naira pushes him back.

N: Why are you here. Go...

K: Naira what are you doing.

He said holding her shoulders. Naira who was trying to get away from his grip, slipped and instantly fell from the top of the building unable to hear Kartik's shouts.

K: Nairraaaaaaaaa........

Kartik sat up on his bed, sweating by the dream he just saw (hehe everyone that was a dream) He stood up from the bed to pick up his phone to call Naira.

K: No no not Naira.... ummmm then Keerti.

Kartik called Keerti who picked up his phone uninterestingly.

K: Hello Keerti good morning.

Ke: What happened. What work do you have with me.

K: No I just called like that. How is everyone.

Ke: Why are you so concerned after all these years. Just stop this. Bye.

Keerti cut the phone and Kartik was heartbroken. But he was still unsure that Naira was okay. He quickly went to change and left for the college to see Naira.

Naira on the other side was in the cab, sitting and thinking something deeply. Suddenly the car stopped and she came out of her thoughts. It was a red light. She looked outside to see an old lady at her window selling stuff toys. She was looking when her sight caught the froggy stuff toy.

N(with tears thinking): Why do all these things make me remember you and our past. Why... Why did you leave me Kartik.......why did you not listen to me once. I miss you. Today is our anniversary but I know you would have forgotten that like you forgot me. 3 years since our marriage. I miss you. I wish all of that would have been a dream. Happy Anniversary Mendak.

Naira wipes her tears. Soon she reached and gave the driver some money. She walked inside the college to see Tanvi approaching her along with Kunal.

T: Hi Naira. What's up.

N(low tone): I'm good Tanvi.

K: What happened Naira you sound low.

N: Actually because of last night drinking and all. It was my first time right that's why.

T: Oh sorry Naira for yesterday.

N: No it's fine. Now let's go or else we will be late for the class.

T: Actually me and Kunal have to go somewhere before we reach class. We will meet you there only. Bye.

Tanvi and Kunal left and Naira left towards her class. On the way Naira bumped with Kartik. She saw him for some seconds and then again ignored him and started to leave when she heard Kartik's voice. Their backs were facing each other.

K: Are you okay Naira.

Naira was confused and shocked at the same time.

N(thinking): Why is Kartik asking me this. Does he still care for m....No no Naira don't make any assumptions like you did for your love in the past... he doesn't love or care for you anymore.

K(thinking): Why are you silent. Please say something I'm getting tensed.

N: Yes I'm okay. Thank you for asking.

Saying this Naira went away. Kartik turned back to see no one there. He sighed and went away for his class too.
