Maki's POV

Miu wanted everyone to go on a camping trip and I didn't really want to come but Kaede begging me to come and said that Shuichi would be there and even though I like Kaede and Shuichi I said " I'm still not going." " Please Maki Shuichi is going and I need another person." I rolled my eyes and asked " Why do you need another person?" Kaede looked away from me and said " Because I'm also doing this for you..." I looked at her and said " What do you mean?" Kaede didn't look at me and I said " Kaede look at me and answer the question." Kaede looked at me and said " Because I learned from Shuichi that Kaito's coming and I know that you have a crush on him ever since the first day of school so I thought that you and Kaito could bond over the camping trip." I wanted to know how she knew that I had a crush on Kaito but even though I don't want to go camping, and I'm not that sociable like every girl in my class but Kaede is looking at me with a puppy look so it's kinda hard to say no to her. " Fine I'll go." 

(*time skip and it's Kaito's POV*)

Our class went on the camping  and I was surprise that Maki Roll even came and as I was setting up me and Shuichi's tent Kaede walked over to us and asked " Hey do you and Shuichi know how to put up a tent?" Shuichi was about to agree but I said " Well looks like Maki already did that." Kaede looked behind her and yelled " Thanks Maki!" Kaede walked over to Maki and it looked like they were having a conversation but I looked over to Shuichi and said " Well sidekick we should get some firewood." Shuichi nodded his head and we went to get some firewood and we could hear Tsumugi talking about a camping scene from an anime.

(*Maki's POV*)

Kaede walked over to Kaito and Shuichi and I know that she would ask to help us to set up the tent but what she didn't know was that I knew how to set up a tent so I finish setting it up and I could hear Kaede yelled " Thanks Maki!" Kaede walked over to me and said " I was trying to get Shuichi and Kaito so you and Kaito can talk together." I rolled my eyes and said " Well just get your stuff in the tent." I saw that Kaito and Shuichi walking away from the camp site and I guessed that they went out to get some firewood. (*time skip*) So after Kaito and Shuichi came back with the firewood and Kiibo knew how to make a fire and we started to roast marshmallow and I went to a nearby river but after having one drink I tripped over something and hurt my ankle and I didn't know how to get it back up and I heard something coming my way and I grabbed a nearby rock and stick and I threw the rock at the thing but instead of hearing a roar or growl I heard a ow and I said " Who's there?" The person came out and it was Kaito and he said " Well I kinda accept a hi but not a rock to the head." " Sorry I thought you were a wild animal." Kaito laughed and said " Can you walk?" I looked down at my ankle and said " I think-what?" I was about to get up and walk but Kaito picked me up and started to give me a piggyback ride and I said " I- I can walk you idiot." Kaito looked at me and said " Well I'm helping and I'm not an idiot." I looked away feeling my face getting hot and Kaito said " You know Maki Roll I was surprised that you agreed to the camping trip and I remember you saying that you never been camping but you set up that tent really well." I didn't know why Kaito was saying all these nice things to me but he said something that made my heart skip a beat, " I also really like you Maki Roll so do you love me too?" I looked at him and I kissed him on his cheek and said " Does that answer your question?" Kaito looked back at me and smiled " Yup." Once we got back to the campsite Tenko was yelling at Kaito and Kirumi was checking my ankle and said I was okay and that's how me and Kaito got together.
