Maki's POV

I was walking with Kaede and Angie and that's when Kaede said " Well how's Kaito?" I looked at her and said " I haven't talked to him. He's really busy." Angie looked at me and said " Well Atua is watching over him like a bird above a worm." Me and Kaede looked at each other knowing that birds eat worms but we didn't say anything and I said " Well only two more....." I stopped talking knowing that I won't see Kaito for another two years. Kaede looked at me and said " How long has it been since you last time you and Kaito talked?" I looked at her and said " Well 4 months?" Kaito went to space a year ago and when we talked about it he would be gone for three years and I wished I could see him again. " Don't worry Maki Atua is telling me that Kaito is fine." I knew that Kaito was fine but I still worried about him and Kaede said " Anyway me and Angie have to go bye Maki take care." Kaede and Angie walked away and I went back to the empty apartment that me and Kaito shared and remembering all times Kaito has cooked and burnt most of the food and how Kaito would pick me up and when he calls me 'Maki Roll'. I smiled and went to cook some Onigiri. I was still making Onigiri and I made some star shape ones because Kaito always like the star shape Onigiri and I heard someone was trying to open the door and I grabbed one of the knifes and just as I was to look who it was I heard his voice. " Hello Maki Roll?" I put down the knife and I ran to see him and I saw that it was Kaito and I asked " W-what?" Kaito looked at me and said " Hello Maki Roll for a long time no see." I ran over to him and tackled him and Kaito laughed and said " I'm happy to see you too." I looked at him and asked " I thought you said you wouldn't be back for another two years." " I wanted to surprise you." I hugged him more and said " I'm just happy that you're back." Kaito gave me a kiss on the forehead and I said " Well I made some Onigiri are you hungry?" Kaito nodded his head and said " I did miss your cooking."
