The scene opens to show an aerial view of Odawara, a city in central Japan, completely destroyed as it's covered in ice, while a massive dark-scaled theropod kaiju with four tails and dorsal plates on its back is shown roaring as it's surrounded by multiple Honju-level kaiju, which are five insect-type kaiju and three reptilian-type kaiju. This is Kaiju No. 6, and he's an extremely powerful and dangerous Identified Kaiju, thus earning him the title of "The King of Kaiju" with a fortitude level of 9.6, which makes him a cataclysmic-level kaiju. It was then that the scene changed to show the Defense Force's First Division arriving at the area as they start firing at the Kaijus, but nothing worked against Kaiju No. 6. At the same time, the Second Division arrives as Captain Hikari Shinomiya makes her way towards an officer of the First Division.

Hikari: What's the situation?

Officer: Captain Shinomiya! Thank you for coming. The artillery unit is continuing their attack as we were able to shoot down several Honju-level Kaijus. However, none of our weapons are showing any effect on the daikaiju as our attacks are instantly frozen due to its sub-zero temperature.

Hikari: I see. Good work out there. So, that's Kaiju No. 6? Alright, we have to lure No. 6 away from the city and hit him with our strongest attacks! (Removes her spear) With the power of Kaiju No. 4's battle suit and my Marked LC-0039 Spear, I'll be sure to make that happen.

Hikari and the rest of the Defense Force start planning out their attack on both Kaiju No. 6 and the Honju-level Kaijus. Meanwhile, the scene then changes to show a seventeen-year-old boy named Akira Serizawa as he is trapped underneath the rubble of his house, noticing the frozen remains of his grandfather a few feet away from him.

Akira: Grandpa! No! (Tears start forming in his eyes) God damn it! Why does this keep happening to us?! We have the best military to take on the kaiju, and yet... How has it come to this? Why has everything been taken from us?! Our lives! Our dreams! Our families! Everything! (slams his right fist into the floor while he starts crying as he begins to remember when he had lost his parents as a kid)

Flashback

The scene changes to show Akira and his two childhood friends: Kafka Hibino and Mina Ashiro standing on top of a hill as they look at the destroyed city of Tokyo.

Kafka: Dang. Everything that we have ever cared about is gone. My house, Akira's house, Mina's house, our school... everything's been smashed into pieces. I'll never forgive you, kaiju! I was this close to completely clearing Guramon!

Mina: Yeah, wait, that's what you're mad about?! (Sees Kafka sheepishly rubbing the back of his head before turning her attention to Akira and notices his downcast expression) Akira?

Akira: (looks up as tears have formed in his eyes) My parents are gone as they had sacrificed themselves to save me when the kaiju had attacked.

Kafka: I'm sorry for your loss, man. Your parents were good people as they would always take care of both Mina and me whenever we came over. (Pats Akira's back)

Mina: Yeah, I'm really sorry that happened to you, Akira. (Gives Akira a hug)

Akira then hugs both of his best friends as they all decide to sit down on the grass while they look at the destroyed city.

Akira/Kafka/Mina: I'm going to join the Defense Force.

Kafka: What the hell!? You two are still in elementary school!

Akira: So are you, dumbass! (Gets tackled by Kafka)

Kafka: What the hell did you call me?! I'm five years older than you! So, respect your elders! (Gets punched in the face by Akira as they both start wrestling on the ground)

Akira: Then turn up your hearing aid, old man! You are getting senile with age!

Mina: (sighs as she grabs both Akira's and Kafka's ears and starts twisting them, which causes them to yell in pain) Alright, that's enough out of you two! (Lets go of their ears)

Kafka: (rubs his ear before smirking) Well then, let's make it a contest to see who can be the coolest Defense Force member! Together, all three of us will exterminate all of the kaiju!

Akira: (starts smirking) Yeah! (Clenches his fist as he glares at the horizon) I'm going to kill them all! Every last one of them!

Flashback Ends

The scene changes back to the present as Akira slams his fist on the floor, becoming enraged.

Akira: I swore to kill them all! Every last one! (Starts straining himself to lift the debris off his back, but it is too heavy) I refuse to die like this! I'll drag them all out and kill them with my bare hands!! Do you hear me?! With my bare hands!!!

??? (Voice Only): Interesting. I've never seen a human with this much rage inside them, especially one in your position.

Succumbed to terror, Akira slowly turns his head to the left and sees a tall beige humanoid Kaiju with a skeletal body, spikes on his shoulders, and a head with two hammerhead shark-like protuberances, his mouth having a set of jagged, lipless, block-like teeth, looking at him while sitting in a crouched position.

Akira: Kaiju?!

???: (starts scratching his head) Humans in your position would have given up and died, but you, you still got some fight left in you. Perhaps there's some good use for you in my plans as I need to start the beginning stages of my human experiments. So, (little round black eyes appear on his face) you will be my first test subject.

Akira: No! Stay the hell away from me!

It was then that the unknown Kaiju placed his hand on top of Akira's face, where he then infused his fingers inside the latter's skin and started injecting him with his kaiju blood. This caused Akira's DNA to start mutating as he began to scream in pain while the unknown Kaiju slowly backed up, watching his masterpiece take shape. However, as Akira's kaiju form started getting bigger, he then smacked the unknown Kaiju out of his house, sending him flying through several homes.

Timeskip

At the same time, the scene changes to show Hikari battered and bloody as she has managed to kill three insect-type Kaijus alongside both the 1st and 2nd Divisions. However, Kaiju No. 6 is proving to be way too strong for them as nobody can get close to him without being frozen by No. 6's ice attacks.

Hikari (thinking): Fuck! I don't think that I can take much more of this. No matter what we do to No. 6, none of our attacks are able to penetrate his thick reptilian skin, let alone get near him since his ice ability prevents us from using our close-range attacks. If this keeps up, then we might lose this fight, but I can't give up no matter what as my little Kikoru and everyone else is counting on us to protect them. And yet... (sighs) I'm so tired. (Notices her husband Isao running towards her)

Isao: Captain Shinomiya, are you alright? I've called in reinforcements, and they are bringing in the prototype cannon weapons so that we can finally inflict damage to No. 6 at long range. Although, it will be a while until they arrive, so we have to keep No. 6 busy until then.

Hikari: I'm doing alright, General Shinomiya, and that's good news, but my spear is badly damaged, so I'll only be able to use it one more time before it gets completely destroyed. However, we have bigger problems to worry about. (Raises her finger and points at No. 6)

Isao then follows what his wife is pointing at and notices Kaiju No. 6 surrounding himself in a blizzard as he creates ice shards of various sizes in front of him. No. 6 then releases a powerful roar which sends the ice shards at the Defense Force, but before it could reach them, Hikari pushes her husband to the ground as she uses her spear to try and destroy the ice. However, Hikari's spear instantly shatters into pieces while she gets impaled by several ice shards, which sends her flying towards the ground.

Isao: HIKARI!!!! (Runs up to his wife and cradles her in his arms) It's going to be alright; just concentrate on your battle suit's healing ability!

Hikari: (starts coughing up blood) It's a little too late for that, dear. (Notices a large ice shard protruding out of her chest) Kaiju No. 4's battle suit can only do so much, but No. 6 is just too strong. (Feels the ground rumbling and notices a building a few blocks away behind them is collapsing)

Officer (Voice Only): General and Captain Shinomiya! We're detecting a gigantic kaiju signal to the north of your position!

Isao: What is its fortitude level?! (Looks behind him and sees a thick cloud of dust while the tail of a massive kaiju swings around before he notices a lightning flash which shows a glimpse of the kaiju)

Officer (Voice Only): Its fortitude level is... 9.9%! A Daikaiju!!

It was then that the massive kaiju comes out of the dust smokescreen, which is revealed to be Akira's kaiju form as he releases a powerful roar in the direction of both No. 6 and his Honju-level Kaijus.

Akira: (looks at both Isao and Hikari Shinomiya before turning back to No. 6 and his Kaijus) Leave this to me as I'll wipe them all out from this world! So, stay back and keep yourselves safe while I deal with the kaiju, and I'll make sure that I won't spare a single one of them!

Akira then starts charging towards Kaiju No. 6 and his Honju-level Kaijus while the rest of the Defense Force is shocked that a Kaiju is willing to not only help them and fight his own kind, but also the fact that he can speak their language and is intelligent. Meanwhile, Kaiju No. 6 orders his two insect-type Kaijus to attack Akira as they fly towards him, but the latter smacks the first Kaiju to the ground before biting the head off the second. He then turns back to the first insect-type Kaiju and before it could fly away, Akira stomps its head with his right foot and crushes its skull, thus killing it instantly. It was then that Akira turned his attention to Kaiju No. 6 and his three reptilian-type Kaijus as he then starts running towards them. Akira then headbutts No. 6, which sends him flying a few feet away as he then crashes onto the ocean and starts sliding towards the deeper section.

No. 6: (turns to the three reptilian-type Kaijus and roars at them) Kill him!!

Akira: (notices the first reptilian-type Kaiju charging towards him, grabs its arm, and throws the kaiju over his shoulder before using his tail to smack the second reptilian-type Kaiju to the ground) Nice try. (Turns to the third reptilian-type Kaiju and tackles it on the ground before releasing his atomic breath, which completely incinerates the kaiju into ashes while he roars)

It was then that No. 6 starts surrounding himself in a blizzard before launching it as a massive wave, which freezes everything in sight. However, Akira runs back towards the Defense Force and stands in front of them with his arms spread out as he takes the hit, which completely freezes him, while this also saves the members of the Defense Force. It was at this point that the reinforcements had arrived with their prototype cannon weapons, but before they could reach them, Kaiju No. 6 launched a beam of ice from his mouth at their vehicles, which not only froze them but also shattered them into pieces.

As No. 6 and his two reptilian-type Kaijus started making their way towards the Defense Force, the ice covering Akira burst off of him as he then punched No. 6 to the ground before grabbing onto the neck of the first reptilian-type Kaiju and slamming it onto a building while he bit the side of its neck and ripped out its core.

It was then that the second reptilian-type Kaiju started running towards Akira, but the latter shapeshifted his right elbow into thrusters which released blue Atomic energy as he then punched the kaiju in the chest. This not only sent the reptilian-type Kaiju flying several feet away but also obliterated its torso as well as its core, thus killing it instantly. Enraged, No. 6 turned his attention to the Defense Force and started running towards them at high speeds while Akira was currently distracted.

Isao: (activates his earpiece) Fire everything that we've got at No. 6!! Use both explosive and electric charge rounds to slow it down!!

Officers: Yes, sir! (Start firing their weapons at No. 6, which he breezes right through them, only for him to get tackled by Akira and crash onto the ground while he throws Akira away)

Akira: I'm not done with you yet! (Gets back up alongside No. 6 as they both launch their respective breath attacks at each other, which then collide)

The two breath attacks try to overpower each other until they cause an explosion that sends both Akira and No. 6 backwards a few feet. No. 6 then charges at Akira as he goes in to attack him with his claws, but the latter dodges out of the way before punching him in the face. However, No. 6 then releases his full power and breathes out a gigantic mass of ice at Akira, which sends him flying through several buildings and then crashing onto the ground as he then gets completely covered in ice. It was then that Kaiju No. 6 stands on top of Akira's frozen body and starts triumphantly roaring.

Hikari: (continues to cough up blood as she weakly touches her husband's face) My love, that kaiju is risking his life to protect us... he's not like any kaiju that we've ever faced before. You have to... help him... as he's not... our enemy. Also, tell Kikoru that... I'm sorry I won't... be there for her... and to tell her... that I... love her. (Closes her eyes as her body goes limp in her husband's arms while her hand falls on her side)

Isao: (Feels a single tear fall from his eye as he has a somber expression before turning on his earpiece) I need every available soldier that isn't wounded to fire a barrage of our artillery weapons at Kaiju No. 6!! We must aid that unidentified kaiju as he has been protecting us from No. 6, which makes him not our enemy!

All of the soldiers from both divisions nodded their heads as they all then started firing their weapons at Kaiju No. 6. The latter was bombarded by missiles, rocket launchers, and explosive rounds, causing him to roar in pain. It was then that the ice beneath No. 6 started to glow blue until it exploded, sending him flying a few feet to the ground while Akira burst out of the ice and roared at him.

Akira: It'll take a lot more than that to beat me! (Starts gathering his atomic energy in his dorsal plates before emitting a powerful shockwave nuclear pulse from his entire body, sending No. 6 flying to the ground while also crippling him)

Akira then walked over to Kaiju No. 6 and pinned him to the ground with his foot by stepping onto the latter's chest before he unleashed the most powerful atomic breath directly onto No. 6's face, which not only vaporized his head but also his core, thus killing him instantly.

Officer: That kaiju did it! He actually killed Kaiju No. 6! (Starts celebrating with the rest of the soldiers while the First Division Vice-Captain Eiji Hasegawa walks up to Isao)

Eiji: General Shinomiya, I'm terribly sorry about your wife. We'll give her a proper burial when we return to base. I've also contacted the Kaiju Cleanup Company so that they can transport No. 6 to Izumo Tech as they will be able to turn his body into a weapon. Although, what should we do about that unidentified kaiju, General? Should we add him to the list of identified kaiju?

Isao: No, he'll be put into a different list. One where it revolves around kaiju who aren't a threat towards humanity, therefore he shall be known as Kaiju No. -1. Although, he deserves to have an official name that represents what he is.

Eiji: What do you want to call him, General?

Isao: From this day forward, Kaiju No. -1 will forever be known as Gojira, better known as Godzilla, the new King of the Monsters!

Akira then raises his head as he releases a triumphant roar, which causes the scene to turn black before the official opening is shown.

Timeskip

For the next ten years, Akira has spent his entire life hunting down every single kaiju that gets in his way. Since he had killed Kaiju No. 6, who originally possessed the title of "The King of Kaiju," Akira's Godzilla persona was given the title of "The King of the Monsters" to establish him as the new King of the Kaiju. This allows him to command Yoju and Honju-level Kaijus by roaring at them so that they can leave the area. During this time, the Defense Force has kept a watchful eye on Akira/Kaiju No. -1 as the higher-ups were still skeptical due to him being a kaiju, while Isao believes that there's something different about him that needs to be investigated.

As the years passed, Akira decided to give up on his dream of joining the Defense Force as he feared what might happen if his identity is revealed. So, he primarily travels all over the world while killing various types of Kaijus along the way. The scene turns black, and the credits are shown.

The Prologue chapter is done. So, I originally wanted to end this chapter when I showed the opening of this book but I decided to include a bit more information regarding both my oc and the Defense Force before I ended the chapter. Also, I'm going to say that when my oc transforms into his Kaiju form, he is five meters tall which is the same height as Kaiju No. 10, but he can increase his size even further to that of the MonsterVerse Godzilla at will if he wants to.
