The afterlife, such an open ended and vague place that many that didn't grow up in a religious household thought it wasn't real for a considerable amount of time. But considering the situation that graced a certain saurian at the moment, that was quite possibly the last thing he questioned about as he floated in what seemed an endless, black abyss.
The lizard was confused and irritated, to say the least. He remembered wanting to defeat that red beast with the golden horn as a way to prove himself capable of combat to his oftentimes dismissive but kind father. But that arrogant and wish-to-be-complimented mind was what led him to soon meet his fate, quite ironic really.
Especially once he sensed his father's burning hatred for the thing that dropped him from the stratosphere which caused the almost recent memory of his father roaring in pain from what seemed to be red & orange scars all over and the loss of his only offspring. It saddened him as he really cherishes the moments shared between him and his father in the moments where an invader isn't doing their job. But as much as he wanted to mull over it, now's not the time for it, as Junior placate those thoughts back for later to focus on the current circumstance he was in.
Floating, ever so slightly turning in what seemed an endless void. He'd never admit it to anything in particular, but this unnerved him to no end as it reminded him of when he was little of the moments where his "mother" were not present in that solitary confinement he'd remembered being "home".
Looking around, hetried to find some form of an escape, but it didn't bear any fruits unfortunately. Thinking of an dumb way to escape somehow, Junior naively thought an Atomic Blast would do the job somehow. He probably knew it wouldn't work, but better to try before it rots he thought.
"hhhmmm...." a low hum could be heard as Junior was charging up his atomic blast as his dorsal plates glow an eerie blue color that contrast his dark-greenish scales.
BRBRBRBROOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
He fires it randomly to a random spot. It bore no satisfying result however, as it just beamed across to nothing as it went off to what seems to be an infinitely expanding darkness. Stopping it short so as to not waste further energy, he stops and looks around for any other signs.
Nothing, and so he thought that this is what the humans call the 'afterlife'? Seems boring and maddening to a certain extent, wonder why some made such a big deal out of it.
But his and soon to be thoughts were stopped as a small bulb of light approached him out of seemingly nowhere as it began to circle around him, almost as if it's curious of Junior. The saurian kept his calm but very well hidden nervousness as he watched the light seemingly circle him forever, until it stopped right in front of him.
As a moment of pure silence prevail between them, Junior does what any sane monster would do and simply try to eat it. This amounted to nothing as it simply passed through him like it wasn't even affected by his attempt of a gnash. But it would soon react to his action, albeit, in a manner he didn't expected.
It spoke.
"Now, now, no need to bite me Junior. " a soothing, almost melodic female voice called out to the saurian, breaking the silence and making him give a look of seeming recognition.
Junior opened his maw in surprise and hissed out a surprised growl as he recognized the voice belonging to a certain moth-like goddess.
Though Mothra was a kind individual as he saw her in an almost motherly spotlight whenever he got the chance to meet her, it sort confused him and his brain to meet her here at all places considering the circumstances beforehand.
Y'know, dropped from the stratosphere by a red beast with a yellow horn, and all that stuff. As if sensing his confusion, the light (now Mothra) tenderly spoke to him.
"It's alright Junior, I promise this would be resolved quickly. You are simply just, floating around that's all. " She spoke in an motherly, soothing voice to try and reassure him that the situation would be sorted out but even he could sense some.... nervousness, in her due to the pause as he had picked up on it due to his "mother" teaching him about it. Somehow.
"But..." stopping momentarily, she thought about her choice of words to the gigantic lizard before speaking upfront "I just need you to guarantee one thing for me Junior baby. "
The atomic beast cooked his head in obvious confusion, almost abit flabbergasted even as to what this could ve meant.
Sensing this, she quickly uttered a quick "J-just... don't be, mad about it?"
Narrowing his eyes at the bulb of light infront of his face in seeming suspicion and curiousness, Mothra spoke up again in an albeit quiet tone
"W-would you... like a second chance. "
Looking at her with a mild, confused stare now as the light seemingly fumbles with her words before speaking up again "Seeing as you were.... harsly defeated at the hands of that beast- " She said that last word in subtle spite and pausing before quickly speaking up again "I-I decided to give you a second chance to live, reviving you so you can experience the wonders of it."
Junior solemnly looked down to his immense dark greenish legs, clearly in deep thought about the words she said to him, especially so considering the fact that he may never see his father and mother again which greatly saddened him. Junior tried processing all of her words, thinking about that last one in particular with solemm interest before looking up at her with a uncharacteristic, almost unexpected purr to indicate his interest.
Although she couldn't have shown it due to the basic form, she smiles in fondness at the sound before quickly speaking again "I'm happy that you're taking this well, I'm glad that some of you're fathers more.... positive traits has been passed down to you through his nurture. I do find abit strange that you seem abit, calm about this though. "
Before Junior could question her with what she meant by that, she quickly added "But I need to give this info to you as.... despite the situation of what's happening on Earth, you will be.... in a different place, to say the least Junior. "
"Just, don't be what your father was, OK? "
As, again, before Junior could even mutter a growl to make her elaborate further on something the Saurian is clearly confused about, the small bulb of light once smaller than his hand began to increase in size which almost entirely engulfed him. Alongside the brightness of which forced Junior to close his eyes of orange pupils to block the ever increasing light.
It was like this for a moment before he felt an overwhelming sense of fatigue began to wash over him like once before, maybe sleep didn't seem so bad after all.
(Infant Island 1999, Forested area )
As the run rose upon the peaceful land of Infant Island and its inhabitants, it shined on the Great expanses and the beautiful glimmering lakes and waterfalls sprinkled around. Its inhabitants, of which many were complacent to simply drift in sleep for many reasons, simply stirred in the wake of the sun basking their forms. I mean, who wouldn't do that on a beautiful island such as this? Except for one, that is.
In an area covered by trees and the occasional lakes, a clump of something could be seen moving around as if agitated with many trees seemingly uprooted and covered the object below. It, like many others seemed to just be shifting around in sleep as if dreaming.
Until it suddenly began to rise, that is.
A monster, no, a woman of towering size and height easily dwarfed the trees in which she had used to cover herself during sleep. The 'woman' was of fair skin with smooth dark hair that had the occasional odd black spikes protruding out flowed down to below her shoulders. She had orange pupils with black slits that of a lizard opened tiredly due to last night's event of a late spar. She had dorsal plates that ran down her back evenly in a gray color as the bigger ones protruded from the middle, she also had a tail of great thickness span of which covered In black scales with a grey undertone as the tail is as almost as long as her body with gray spikes protruding from them in large size's which decreased in height the further down.
Her body didn't leave much to the imagination, as it was only covered In a black material similar to that of cloth though only stronger and more resilient somehow. It decently hides her chest with the sides being exposed however, some bits of her thigh that barely went down to her knees in an almost skin tight manner and her nether regions which exposed the lithe and athletic figure she had with gray scales occasionally punctuated at random parts of her body which was the same as her arms in which her fingers having black, sharp claws on the end of each of them. She even had feets that seemed more like a theropod dinosaur than a human that spanned to her knee's with gray scales with a claw at the end of each five toe. And finally, what many onlookers would argue were the most "important" part of her, were her... let's just say, chest size which in normal human diameters, was average in size.
Waking up due to the sun's ray's shining on her face, she was unabashedly tired with obvious signs of sleepiness still present with black spots under her eyes due to the events of last night spar-turned-brawl. She lazily got up with only the thought of food and water motivating her to even move. Standing up high on her feet, she quickly spotted the shore that was fortunately nearby with the calm waters seemingly enticing her to swim in.
Deciding what her meal was she walked over to it with each step eliciting a shake in the ground and a mark reminiscent of a theropod's foot marked in the ground due to sheer weight, with her modest sized chest bouncing in tandem with her steps that would have made any gawkers of weird tastes drool at her beauty for this was Alliz, the Queen of the Monster's normal morning routine... usually.

Scratching her behind, the kaiju girl slowly lumbered her way to the coast of the island to catch fish and hopefully clean herself of any dirt & grime that managed to stick to her scales and
"clothing". After that, she would just relax at a volcano to make her mind at peace.
Smiling at the site of the admittely beautiful beach as she neared the end of the forest, she tried to rub away the tiredness in her eyes before walking towards the water in search of prey, swimming once she was in deep enough water. Hopefully something like a whale would be found for her.
A gigantic wave soon formed on the beach as it rises with dorsal plates penetrating through the water, which disappears into the calm ocean water to reveal a now fully awake Alliz surging with energy with a dead killer whale in her mouth and two on one hand. She walked out of the shore and back into the forest, not before making a mark on the ground with her feet to signify she was the first and shaking her body around to dry off a bit which inadvertently shook around her chest as well (not that she cared or anything).
While she had unfortunately had not caught a whale as they had now become accustomed to swimming away when detecting the presence of a kaiju, three killer whales that seemed to be full after a hunt of seals would suffice her hunger for now as she lumbered back to land.
Looking up and surveying her surroundings, she sets her sights on a nearby volcano that was brimming with molten on the top of it's exposed crater so she naturally went there so she can cook the diseased killer whales while simultaneously relaxing.
By the time she got there after minutes of climbing up the mountain with the top being open which exposed the hot magma inside, it was still empty which meant the other inhabitants had yet not awakened but it also meant that she would have the spot all to herself without annoying interruptions nagging at her for hours.
Smiling ear to ear she practically dived in the lava as it bounced around and splash around the crater, enjoying the hot sensation all around her (somehow not burning the cloth) and cooking the three lunch items she had on hand.
Choosing a spot she liked, Alliz sat down on a shallow part of the magma where she could sit down without having to worry about sinking while at the same time feasting on the orca corpses that were, to her low standards, perfectly cooked.
"Ahhh~, this is so, so nice. Especially after what had happened last night, damm bird-brain just didn't knew how to shut her mouth up huh." She said in an gruff and almost masculine tone that one could mistake for a man, but it was clearly laced in satisfaction and relaxation as she leaned further back. Moments like this she cherished in the early mornings when she would get a head start while others were only barely waking up, it was a moment she wished would last forever.
Until, that is, her many strange senses that seemed paranormal would begin to alert her of a presence on the beach where she had just came from. She would've ignored this thinking it was one of the water Girls looking to dry off, had it not been one with such weird energy and strange amounts of pulsing radiation. Whatever it was, it was interesting enough that she felt the need to investigate it.
"I swear if this is just some piece of junk that those little humans just threw away, I'm gonna be upset in more ways than one" She says with a riled and agitated tone of what could just be junk lying on the beach, maybe an interesting junk, but junk nonetheless.
Reluctantly deciding to get off her butt and investigate what it was, she got out of the volcano, readjusted her "clothing" that was barely keeping itself from falling off entirely and down the rocky but somehow smooth mountain which trembled under her footsteps (with her chest expectantly swinging bit though she paid no mind) and soon was covered by a thick forest of varying tree sizes as she walked down.
(one of the many Shores of Infant Island)
Junior was feeling like he was cramped beyond belief was an understatement, as he could almost not even feel his numbed body as it rested on what he thinks is sand. Groggyly trying to stand up or even just kneel, he couldn't find the strength to pull himself up from the sand.
After what felt like hours, Junior managed to raise his arms enough so that they can-
Wait, why does his arms feel.... longer and lighter, than usual? And he overall felt strange as the numbness began to leave his body which was replaced with a feeling that he couldn't exactly place his claw on. Bringing himself to lift himself with his arms, he placed his strange, long felt leg below him to act like support along with his tail that felt heavier for some reason.
Managing to get himself to a kneeling position as his vision clears of any blurriness as he tries focusing them, his suspicions were confirmed as he raised his two hands up after raising himself directly to his face in which his mind began to race at the sight of.
What he saw wasn't short and stubby Saurian arms filled with surprising power, no, what he saw were hands similar to that of humans like his human mother except obvious differences could be seen. The first being the sharp black nails at the end of each of his fingers, of which were sparsely covered in dark green scales that ascended up to his elbow before dissipating.
He wanted to take a look at the rest of his presumably changed body before rumblings could be heard, rumbling that happened one after another like.... footsteps of a fellow kaiju.
"HEY! Call out to me if your like, anyone in particular." Called out a voice of surprising feminity to anyone that was on the shore, that being the currently very disoriented Junior kneeling on the beach. as the rumbles of huge footsteps came closer, the voice also boomed in volume "I don't wanna waste my time coming all the way here just to see Human trash!"
Looking up at the forest line of heightened trees blocking sight of whatever was coming towards him, he barely had the time to group his thoughts to do something coherent before the rumblings felt closer and....
Two shocked, orange eyes land on one another filled with surprise as the two individuals lock eyes with one another.
Surprises growls and roars were heard all throughout the island as an unexpected meeting between a Queen and coming-of-age-King soon panned out.
