"Class," the yellow octopus named, Koro Sensei began, "as you all have heard, we have a new student today. Well, actually she was suppose to start at the beginning of the year, but couldn't because she was stricken with an illness." There were hushed whispers in the room as Koro Sensei looked over to me, signaling me to come in. Everyone's eyes widened as I walked through the door. Well all except for one person, and that would be my brother, Karma. This bald kid then raised his hand.
"You look an awful lot like Karma," to that I chuckled slightly, causing most of the boys to blush slightly.
"That would make sense," I began with a closed eye smile, "considering I'm his twin sister." Everyone in the class, except for Karma, then shouted "huh" in unison, their eyes practically bulging out of their sockets. "It's nice to meet all of you. I'm Kaida Akabane, but please refer to me as Kaida, if you would. I look forward to spending this year with all of you." I then bowed respectfully, and went to the seat Koro Sensei pointed out to me. It was next to Karma, but I didn't mind much. I just hoped he wouldn't prank me as much here as he did at home. I sighed heavily before sitting down.
"How's your first day so far?" Karma asked me with his usual smirk. I looked over at him with my mercury coloured eyes that matched his.
"Everyone seems nice," I replied happily, "I hope I make alot of new friends!"
At lunch, people were introducing themselves, and also asking questions like if Karma and I were truly related.
"It's just that you're so nice, and not sadistic like your brother," Sugino stated with his eyebrows knitting in confusion. I looked down at my desk, a little saddened by the comment, but I smiled still.
"Yeah, we're nothing alike," I sighed heavily, "but we're still twins."
"Do you have twin powers like they show on TV?" Nakamura asked me, which made me sweat drop. Why do people always ask us that?
"Not that I know of," I chuckled, "but you never know. We may develop twin telepathy yet." This made Nakamura laugh alittle.
"Yeah, girl!" She pumped her fist into the air, "that's the way! Don't give up on it!" I looked over to my right to see a blue haired boy walking over to my desk, making me blush slightly for some reason.
"Hey," he greeted me, and stretched his hand out, "Kaida, right?" I only nodded in response with a small but friendly smile. "I'm Nagisa Shiota. It's nice to meet you." With that I shook his hand, and it felt like we'd already became really good friends. Oh, how I hope so! My blush became alittle bit deeper at that thought, but I hope Nagisa didn't see.
After class that day, Karma and I were walking home together. Then, my red headed brother said something that made me stop dead in my tracks. I turned around so fast that I'm surprised I didn't get dizzy.
"So, you've already got a crush on Nagisa, huh?" My face became as red as my hair at that moment, and my heart started pounding at the mere mention of his name. Karma smirked at me as he always did to everyone.
"I-I d-do not!" I cursed myself for stuttering which basically proved it to my manipulative twin, and he would definitely use it to his advantage. He has an uncanny ability to see through others, and know what makes them tick. That's why he's so damn good at manipulation. I sort of wish I was alittle like him. I wish that I could not care what people thought of me.
"Sure, Kaida," Karma said sarcastically. Then, he just got this look of pure evil that made me gulp audibly and shiver in fear.
"D-don't you dare say anything, Karma!" I shouted while pointing vigrously at him, the blush was still very prominent on my face just so you know.
"Oh, don't worry," he began with that sadistic tone to his voice, "I won't say anything. It's way more fun to tease you about it." He walked away after that, leaving me standing there horrified for the near future. The Earth blowing up in a year had nothing on this!
