"Oh my gosh! Your hair! You cut your hair?!" I exclaim in disbelief, walking towards him.

"Ten times sexier, am I right? Don't know why I didn't do it earlier" Axel says, running a hand through his short, sleek hair. A smirk plastered on his face.

"I must admit, you look good. It suits you too" I tell him and laugh at his reaction. He just rolled his eyes at me.

"Anyway, shall we get going darling?" Axel asks, looking at me expectantly.

"Where to?" I answer, beginning to walk in the direction of the park. Ax follows closely behind.

"Well, I thought maybe we could get some drinks, unwind a little" He suggests, walking beside me through the park.

That sounded like a good idea and since I didn't have class tomorrow, an evening out was alright.

"Cool. Let's go" I answer him enthusiastically.

Few drinks and a couple of dry jokes later, I was all loosened up and relaxed. Axel had always been great company and I'm glad we came out tonight. I've had too many nights staying in with nothing to do.

"Are you enjoying yourself love?"
Axel asks while pouring me another glass from the expensive bottle of liquor.

"I am, thank you. I feel so good right now" I answer him, grinning.

Axel smiles and lifts up his drink towards mine.

"To you, beautiful, for being here with me tonight" He says with a smirk, his eyes locked on mine.

"Cheers to that!" I bellow, downing my glass. Ax did the same.

The night was passing by real fast. I danced and danced till my feet gave up. Axel stood from a distance and watched me, amused at my dance moves, I suppose. I felt safe around him and so carefree.

After one of my favorite songs ended, I slowly walked back to our table. Ax came and sat beside me, drink in hand and a huge grin on his face.

"What's so... funny?" I attempt to say with a straight face but my words came out as a slur and I couldn't stop smiling. I guess the drinks were finally doing the damage. I didn't mind though, it felt nice to be wasted after so long.

"You're what's funny" Axel responds, leaning in closer to my ear. "Come on, let's get home. I think we've both had enough."

I nodded my head and looked around for my purse. Once I picked it up off the table, I handed it straight to Axel. At this rate, I couldn't even walk straight.

"Take us home" I shout in his ear. He simply nodded and took my hand, leading us out of the crowded club.

I didn't remember anything from the ride home. All I remembered was getting into a taxi. Next thing I knew we were back at the apartment.

"What? Are we home Axey?" I ask curiously as we walk up some steps.

"Yes we are, darling. Now come on let's get you to bed, you're drunk" He says, taking me to my room. Ax began to laugh out loud. The sound of his laughter made me grin like an idiot. I knew he was laughing at me but I couldn't help but join in.

I managed to hold onto the dresser while taking off my shoes. The room was spinning and I was trying my hardest to focus.

"Go to bed, okay? I'll see you in the morning" Axel says before stepping out of the room.

How does he not look as wasted as me? Oh yeah, forgot he drank everyday.

I giggled at my thoughts and made my way to the bed. I slipped out of my jeans and top and into one of my oversized t-shirts.

Soon as my head hit the pillow, it was lights out for me.

Axel's P.O.V

I left Kaia's room and walked back to the couch in the living room. I really didn't have to drink again today but I wanted to spend time with her. She looked like she needed a friend anyway. Even though I'm a nuisance to her and I don't care, I still wanna be around her. She makes me laugh, especially the part where she can't stand me. I fucking love it!

"You're fucking crazy, Axel" I remind myself as I take off my shirt and lay down on the most uncomfortable couch I've ever slept on. And I've slept on quite a lot.

Even though I had alot to drink, I wasn't feeling sleepy yet. I could handle another few hours before finally hitting the hay. But since Kaia was already asleep, I had nothing else to do. I laid down and closed my eyes, attempting to fall asleep.

Slowly, it was working.

Images of flowing blonde hair and stormy grey eyes took over my vision.

I was drifting off to sleep.

Startled, I sat up and immediately scanned the room. No one was there but I definitely heard something loud.

"What the fuck?" I mutter, making my way through the house. The last thing I'd want is Kaia waking up to half the things in this place stolen. She would have my head, that's for sure.

I switched on some lights, also checking the bathroom and kitchen.

All clear.

I decided to check on Kaia so I made my way over to her room, pushed the door open and peered inside.

To my suprise she wasn't on the bed. Ahh that's what the loud thud was.

Instead, she had fallen off the bed and was now laying flat on the floor. I laughed out loud at her before helping her up. She was clearly still tipsy.

"Darling get off the floor" I say softly, slowly attempting to lift her body.

She slowly opened her eyes and began rubbing her head. She must've hit it when she fell.

"Axey?" She calls out, squinting her eyes at me.

I hated that nickname but that didn't stop her from using it. It only made her use it more.

"Yeah, it's me love. Now let's get you back on the bed, yeah?" I tell her and she nods.

I help Kaia sit on the bed before running into the kitchen to get some ice for her head.

"Silly girl, how did you fall off the bed?" I chuckle quietly to myself as I apply the ice pack to her head. She sits still, eyes still closed. I hold her steady to prevent her from swaying with her tipsy state.

I make a mental note to never let her drink that much again.
