Nya's POV

The morning sun was hot and there was no breeze to keep us cool as we walked across the old dirt path which lead to the next village which had a public bus we could get to the centre of Ninjago city where we then had a fifteen minute walk to school. Yeah a lot I know! But at least me and Kai will be able to have the most famous parent saying of all time and it will be true.

 "Nya have you got your lunch?" Kai asked ,he was only a your older but acted like her was ten years older... Well sometimes. "Yes Kai don't worry about me I can look after myself" I laugh he really does acted ten years older sometimes. "What about your jotters, pens ...." But before Kai could list every item under the sun I cut him off. " Yes I have everything I need Kai, stopping fussing " I said before quickening my pace so I could get a bit ahead of him as I was really not in the mood for a conversation right now. 

The dry, dusty path twisted into the cool forest just up ahead meaning me and Kai could get out the sun for a minute. It was only seven in the morning but it was the middle of summer and the summer was really not this year. The weather heard up randomly and whenever that happens Kai is always in a bad mood. I guess he just hates the heat who I is weird as he is always entranced by fire.

 "Nya wait up" said Kai catching up to me just as I enter the forest. "Sorry if I was patronising I just don't want you to be missing anything on the first day back that's all" he said then giving me an I'm sorry smile. Kai had a few smiles there was his this person is an idiot do they really think that smile which is more of a smirk to be honest, his I'm amazing and you want me smile, his I'm in pain and want to cry but I can mask it smile, his apology smile and finally his really smile which I rarely see anymore. Neither of us smile much anymore it's to hard, to draining.

-Time skip just before first period so in regi (registration or form class I think some people call it idk I call it regi)-

Still Nya's POV

 "Pixal I've not seen you in forever now are you doing?" I say as I reach her in the sea of people rapidly gathering in the school grounds. "I'm doing good I got to go to my dad's company and see how it work for a lot of the summer and he said maybe next year I could get an job there as an assistant to someone just getting coffee and tidying up of course but still it would be amazing" she squealed, basically dissenting joy and excitement . "How about you Nya get up to anything nice?" But before I could answer I heard the bell ring meaning we all had to go to regi now.

 Me, Kai and Lloyd are all in the same regi class and I see Kai so I run up to him. It's hard to talk to Kai at school he is so different and always surrounded by others but he seems to be free right now. I size the chance and say "so see your friends yet?" " I saw cole and those guys told them we went to Spain just in case they ask you about it we did cool " he said not making eye contact with me. "Got it" I said. Me and Kai always made up holiday trips and family outings to fit in and so no one ever wonder about it. If they don't ask we aren't lying. That's what Kai had told me on our first day of secondary school and it's work.

 "Good morning class take a seat,.I will be your regi teacher this year" said an old man . I hadn't seen him before in the school which is weird but I guess he just be new. Just as he was about to continue Lloyd walked into class making a B line to Kai and me. "What time do you call this Ll..... Young man?" The old man said to Lloyd. "Um... A waste of time" Lloyd said earning the laughter of the class . The old man clearly annoyed now said "one more word out of you today and detention you here me". Lloyd nodded and for the rest of the class just mimed everything making everyone burst into figs of laughter every five minutes. 

At the end of class is three left and then split up to go to our first proper lesson of the day. I had physics with Zane but we were sat at opposite ends of the classroom unfortunately but oh well. I walked into class and I see Mrs Galloway at her desk preparing today's lesson. I take me seat next to Jay and pull my litter and pen out my bag. 

" Hi Nya hhhhoow wwwas yyyoour holiday " he stuttered "good thank you I went to Spain you?" . Jay was sweet and I think the whole school knows he has a crush on me but I am happy just being friends well for now anyway.
