After the ninja returned with Kai, they carefully bandaged his wounds and laid him down. They couldn't believe that they were so blind to see the obvious signs that Kai was infected. And they almost had to pay the price for not seeing the signs. Especially since they saw the multiple cut lines on his arms and legs.

"What do we do now?" Nya asked. She was crying...which wasn't unexpected since he was her only remaining family member.

"We get rid of all the sharp items in the house and hide them somewhere. We also keep the cameras in his room and bathroom so we can see what he does." Cole said.

"But will that really be enough? I mean...What if he tries to get stuff in the city and hide it from us?" Lloyd said.

"Then one of us will have to go with him whenever he goes out." Cole said.

"That's good and all, but we can't keep doing this forever. We need to figure out why he started doing this in the first place. I mean...nothing unusual happened to Kai before this point, but he suddenly starts to self harm and kill himself? That strikes me a little odd." Jay said.

"Yeah. Before this all started...he was acting normal, but then...He started to stop eating and spend more time in his room. Maybe something happened to him when we all went to bed?" Zane said.

"Then whoever it is that did this to my brother is in for a long term of pain when I get my hands on them." Nya said.

"Okay. So something happened in Kai's room so...maybe one of us should look for any clues." Lloyd said as Zane got up and went to Kai's room. Meanwhile Lia appeared next to Kai and started to plot there next step. She couldn't believe that his pesky friends and sister would figure out that something was wrong this soon. And now they had to rethink everything. Before she could even speak...she heard footsteps approaching so she stepped back into the shadows. 

Unaware that she just revealed herself to the ninja.
