Chapter Two: Telling Time

Kai and Lloyd snuggle up in Lloyd's room just cuddling and other fluff. Lloyd giggles as Kai nibbles on his neck. A knock is heard and Kai groans. Lloyd chuckles at this and kisses his fiancé's cheek. Kai was to cute when annoyed. The knock sounds louder. "Lloyd? You in there?" Jay's voice sounds. Kai glares at the door. "What is it?" Lloyd asks his lover in a whisper. "I just got fucking cock blocked by my own son." Kai grumbles and Lloyd snickers. "LLOYD! I KNOW YOUR IN THERE! I HEAR LAUGHING!" Jay shouts and Kai looks pissed. Lloyd rolls his eyes and sets up a fake game of SORRY to look less suspicious. Kai gets down to make it look like he's beating Lloyd. Lloyd rolls his eyes at Kai and opens the door. Jay sees the game and snickers. "Let me guess.... Lloyd is green ash Kai is red?" He asks. "WRONG! Lloyd is red and I'm green!" Kai lets out. "Well.... Anyways.... Lloyd, your mom wants you." Jay says. "And I need to speak with Kai alone." He adds nervously.

Lloyd goes to see his mother and Kai follows Jay back to the room Jay & Cole share. "I.... Um.... Well.....IWantToProposeToNyaButIWantYourConsentFirstSinceYourHerBrotherAndYouTwoAreEachOthersOnlyFamily!" Jay rushes out and Kai takes a second. Luckily Jay's mother would often speak like that so Kai was able to decipher it. "NO. Not only no, but hell no. You are not, and will never, marry Nya." Kai says with a glare before walking out. Jay looks like he's about to cry.

  Jay suddenly looks determined. "Fuck Kai.... I'll ask her anyway!" Jay says to himself and marches over to Nya's room.  

Nya just comes out of her room and sees Jay. "Nya, Let's go on a date today. I have a big surprise for you!" Jay says in his usual cheery way. Nya giggles. "Okay." She says. Jay smiles and kisses her before running off to get dressed.

  When Jay gets Nya to a fancy restaurant he's excited. Luckily he already bought a ring.  

Kai takes Lloyd into town. Misako only wanted his opinion on something and now the couple decided to get rings to mark their engagement. Kai opens the door to a jewelry shop for Lloyd who blushes and thanks him.

Jay and Nya eat their food and talk, loving each other's company.

Kai and Lloyd flip through some ring catalogs and just can't decide what to pick.

Once their done eating, Jay gets down on one knee in front of Nya and the whole restaurant gasps.

Kai and Lloyd finally settle on a design and can't pick a metal to save their lives.

Jay brings out the box and opens it. "Will you marry me?" He asks as he sweats bullets.

Kai and Lloyd finally pick something and place their order as they hold hands, gazing into each other's eyes.

Nya gasps with tears in her eyes before thinking. "Did you ask my brother?" She checks. Jay gulps. "Yes....." He admits. "And what did he say?" She asks. "Not only no, but hell no." Jay says, dropping his head.

The man comes back with the papers saying the rings are ordered and that they'll receive them in the mail by the next day. Kai and Lloyd smile at this before thanking the man and leaving.

"Then no. The village where me and Kai are from would ring my neck if I said yes without Kai's permission. Sorry." Nya says to Jay who sighs. Great.

Kai and Lloyd decide to eat out and go to Master Chin's noodles where Skylor serves them. "Hey Sky." Kai says and Skylor smiles. "Hey Kai. Sup Lloyd. What do you two want to eat?" Skylor responds. "Surprise us." Lloyd says with a smile as he and Kai find a booth. 

  When Kai and Lloyd arrive back at home and find Jay all gloomy Lloyd gives Kai a look. "You were to hard on him Kai." Says the blond. "He'll bounce back. He always does." Kai says and heads for his room, but Lloyd stops him. "What?" Kai asks. "I want to cuddle." Lloyd says. "You always want to cuddle." Kai responds with a smile. "Because I love you." Lloyd says, hugging Kai and nuzzling his neck where the mark is. Every time Lloyd touches the mark goose bumps go right up Kai's spine and he shivers from the joy. Kai picks Lloyd up bridal style and takes the green snot to his room where Kai pins him to the bed. Lloyd struggles, but when he sees Kai's glowing eyes he exposes his neck.  

  Kai licks his lips and leans in. He kisses Lloyd's neck before sinking his fangs in and feeding. Lloyd moans. Kai was right on his mark, causing pleasure more so then pain. Lloyd starts to squirm, but only from the new feelings of lust entering him. Kai smirks as he feeds. He loved this. Misako opens the accidentally unlocked door to find the scene before her. Luckily she couldn't see what Kai was doing, but it still didn't look good since they had been grinding against one another with boners.... And Lloyd let out a loud moan when his mother entered to. Misako looks about ready to faint.  

"Um... It's not what it looks like?" Lloyd tries and Kai feels about ready to face palm, keeping his eyes closed so Misako doesn't see their glowing. Misako immediately leaves the room, slamming the door behind her.

Lloyd blushes up. "Um... Just finish feeding..... You need to." Lloyd says and Kai does as told. Once done, Kai pulls out and finds Lloyd sound asleep. He listens to the sound of the bounty, everyone is sleeping but him. Kai sighs before hanging upside down off the edge of the bed and sleeping himself.

That next morning Lloyd wakes up to find everyone in his room. Zane and Nya being the only ones not staring at the sleeping Kai oddly. "Why are you two not surprised?" Cole asks them. "Kai has been sleeping like this for as long as I can remember." Nya says. "And I'm use to this as his roommate." Zane adds in. Lloyd sees Kai stering awakening and lifts the red ninja up as soon as his eyes open so only Lloyd can see the glowing red orbs staring at him with blood lust. Lloyd sighs and kisses Kai, letting the vampire bite his lower lip in the kiss. This causes blood from Lloyd's lip to seep into Kai's mouth. When Lloyd's lip heals Kai starts kissing down to his neck and sinks his teeth in. To the others it looks like Kai is trying to leave a hickey, but Lloyd knows, and an feel, better. When Kai has had his fill, Lloyd press's him to his neck. Kai's now reddish brown eyes, as per usual, snap open and he struggles, trying to pull back. 

Lloyd whispers in his ear. "Everyone is here and staring. I'm okay with them knows the nature of our relationship, but I'm pretty sure you don't them knowing about your species." Lloyd explains. Kai's eyes go wide. He retracts his fangs and pulls back just enough to let the wound heal itself and the blood fade. He then licks his lips of extra blood and swallows every drop in his mouth discretely before pulling back.

Wu clears his throat. "Care to explain?" Misako asks. Lloyd and Kai both gulp. They share a look before Kai sits back on the bed, letting his back brace against the wall, and takes Lloyd into his lap. Lloyd blushes up hard core at this. "Me and Lloyd are gay for each other." Kai says with a big goofy grin. Lloyd looks at him like he's insane. "Prod how long now?" Jay asks. "Quite the while! And um.... We're engaged." Lloyd says nervously. "Really?" Cole asks, surprised. "Yup!" Kai says happily. "The rings will arrive in the mail today!" Continues the royal vamp.

"I'm happy for you!" Nya says. "Cool." Cole says. "But.... Your both male..." Zane says completely confused. "It's called homosexuality." Kai says. "What?" Zane asks. "I'll explain it to him." Cole says and drags Zane away. Kai watches Cole exit with his grandson and smiles. He couldn't believe he was grandfather, granted, Zane was robotic, but still.... He couldn't believe it still.

Misako walks out looking angry and Lloyd shrinks into Kai a bit. "What is it my king?" Kai asks him with a playful smirk. Lloyd blushes up immediately. "Heh, what is it my king? Is it something I did? Did I do something wrong my king?" Kai pesters and Lloyd blushes harder. Jay rolls his eyes before leaving. Lloyd smiles when Kai kisses his hand. "What is it my liege?" Asks the fire ninja as Lloyd blushes up harder and chuckles a bit. "Kai...." Lloyd whines as Kai starts tickling him. Nya giggles and rolls her eyes. "You two are adorable!" She says. Kai gives her a fuck off look and she leaves smiling. Wu simply walks out without a word.

Once the door is shut by Wu Kai quickly pins Lloyd to the bed, kissing him roughly. Lloyd moans and smiles into the kiss. Lloyd tugs at Kai's pants as Kai starts lifting Lloyd's shirt.

Then the alarm goes off for them to go on a mission.

Kai sighs in an annoyed manner before flicking off the alarm system.

The ninja all meet in the brig in their uniforms. Jay glares death daggers at Kai as Misako gives them a rundown of their mission. "Some men have been attacking boarding schools at random and Darkly's believed to be their next target. Go there and protect the students." She says and they all nod, Kai smiling. They head there after the mail is delivered. Kai has a letter and a package. He smiles as he opens the box, pulling out a ring box with two rings in it. Both are gold with a fancy red design and both bare a name in green. Lloyd puts on the one that says Kyle and Kai wears the one that says Lloyd. They kiss and smile like mad men at each other as Nya wipes a tear away. Kai then opens the letter and reads it while Lloyd shows off his ring like a girl.

"Wait... Why does it say Kyle?" Cole questions. "That's my legal name." Kai says as he reads his letter with a smile. "Oh... Why you sign Kai on everything then?" Zane says. "Because that's what I go by. I wanted my real name on my future husband though." Kai says, still reading his letter. He smiles when he's done and shoves it in his pocket. "Now let's go." He says, taking off on his dragon.

They get to Darkly's and land. Kai runs straight for the office and demands to speak with the head master.

Lloyd is confused as all get out as the others surround him with the same expression as him. "What the actual fuck?" Cole asks no one in particular.

Kai sits in the office when Lloyd's old roommate, Bradly, comes in looking nervous. "You said my dad is here for me?" He asks the head master who points to Kai. Bradly looks to Kai with wide eyes. "YOU?" He asks, dumbfounded. Kai nods. "Sorry I didn't tell you before. Your mother didn't want me to have any contact with you, but I just go a letter that she lifted said rull. We sadly died though." Kai explains. Bradly shrugs. "She was all mean and evil anyways." He says before hugging Kai tightly. "It's a pleasure meeting you mister Lust. Would you like for Brad to have your family name? I can get that changed." Says the head master. Kai looks to his son. "That depends on him." Kai says, nodding to Brad. "YES!" He yells and Kai smiles wide. The head master smiles and nods, filling out the paperwork. Kai smiles and shakes hands with the old man and takes his sons hand. They go into the hall and Kai bends down to his son's level. "Listen, As far as everyone else is concerned your last name is still Lance and I am not your father to the other students here. There are bad men coming that want to use you to control me. Only Lloyd can know your my son and that's because he's going to be your stepdad." Kai explains. Brad gets confused. "How is going to be my stepdad if mom is dead?" He asks. "I'm marrying him. I am bisexual. Lloyd is gay. You judge him or me for this and I will ground you." Kai says sternly. Brad nods. Lloyd was his best friend anyways.

Kai walks out with Brad who runs over to Lloyd. "LLOYD!" He calls and Lloyd smiles. "Brad!" He says with a smile. The two old friends hug. Kai motions Lloyd to the side. "Brad. Go pack. Your no longer a student here." Kai says and the child nods before running off. Kai and Lloyd go to the side. "Brad is going to be your stepson." Kai says and Lloyd looks confused. "What?" He asks. "Brad is my youngest child Lloyd. You were roommates with my son." Kai says and Lloyd gets an oh face. "How many kids have you fathered?" Lloyd asks in exasperation. "Ten... Non from the same mother." Kai admits and Lloyd's eye twitches. "What the fuck?" He asks. Kai shrugs. I've been alive a really long time Lloyd. I'm older then Ninjago itself." Kai says and Lloyd scrunched up his nose. "Damn your old....." He says. Kai rolls his eyes. "By human standards. As far as vampires go, I'm actually rather young.... And I'm the oldest living vampire. Only two were ever older then me, my parents. I won't start physically showing a change in age for another couple thousand years. Your life span doesn't even last a second compared to mine." Kai says before kissing Lloyd. "Then why are you with me? Why be with any humans?" Lloyd asks. "Because I love you Lloyd. And besides.... Now that I've marked you, you'll live as long as me. Your aging has even slowed. It's the magic of the mark." Kai answers and they kiss.

The men show up, as sure as Kai is the red ninja, they're vampires.

Kai growls. He wanted to tear their heads off. Brad comes out with his suitcase and one of the vamps makes a run for him with his inhuman speed, but Kai beats him their and grabs Brad. Kai shoves his son behind him and stares the vampires down. This was so not going accord to plan at all.
