Now back to the story:

Over the last couple of days, Kami made great progress on making his future fiancé to hate mortals. He forgot everything and listened only to his orders while also showing an interest in learning magic. At first, he would've rejected it, but that would lead to an opportunity for the ninja to somehow trap Kai and figure out a way to turn him back into his true form. 

He would remember everything and become stubborn once again. Kai would yell at him, betray him and leave him. All of which are outcomes that Kami had to make impossible at all costs so he agreed to teach him. Though...he would also need to turn him into a future goddess as well at some point. However, that would come later down the road, right now he had to take good care of his lovable feline who would one day rule by his side. 

"Kami?" A voice said. Kami turned around and saw his fiancé who was wearing a beautiful yellow kimono with some shoes to match. He would've given Kai some other clothing, but modern clothing should only be worn in that mortal realm. Traditional clothing should be reserved for higher beings which should grow in the coming years.

Kami stopped thinking about clothing when he felt someone pinch his arm. Looking down, he saw Kai pout and stare at him with concern.

"Yes, my love." Kami said. That caused Kai to blush before he continued to speak.

"Do you have an answer for me learning some magic?" Kai said.

"I will allow it, but I will also teach you how to do martial arts and use weapons just in case." Kami said which made Kai smile.

"You want me to learn martial arts and how to use weapons? Why?" Kai said.

"Well, you never know what those mortals may be planning behind their nice facade. I mean, you would also need to face the ninja at some point who just want to use you for your connection to me." Kami said. At first, his love seemed confused, but quickly understood why he would add some more things in. It was a sign that his love trusted him enough not to ask too many questions. Though he may need to make a story about his so called family especially that Nya girl that he was always whining about before the pendent.

"Okay. By the way, Can we walk on the ocean shore?" Kai asked. 

"Why? You never wanted to go outside our home before." Kami said. 

"I just feel like something happened at the ocean and that we will meet someone who would become special for us in the future." Kai said. This made Kami confused on how or why he was able to sense something like that. He hardly knew magic and only knew how to use his fire from the genes of that fire master. Maybe..he was more connected to magic than he originally thought.

However, he had to lead his love to the shore to find what or who managed to attract his attention. When the duo got there, his love seemed to be surprised on the beauty and magical creatures of the ocean.

"Wow!" Kai said. 

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Kami said.

"Yeah, I wish that we can..." Kai started to say before spotting something or someone on the shore. Kami turned around and saw a little girl with blonde hair unconscious. As they quickly rushed to her...they had no idea that she would be the first child of their new family. Though the others would come at a later time. 

Meanwhile, the ninja is still struggling to handle enemies with one of their own being missing for years. Sure, Nya unlocked her water abilities that helped a lot in some cases...but they were still incomplete. What made matters worse is that they had no idea who took him and why. They also didn't know what happened to him, but they try to push through their struggles to save Ninjago from the growing threats in the shadows. 

Though no preparation could prepare them for facing a literal god, his wife and their children in the future.
