The world was slowly weakening, slowly becoming an abandoned barren land of destruction. The Divine Punishment that had taken place years ago was only bringing chaos and destruction upon anyone who was a test subject there.

If destruction was the only thing the world had, then peace would have shown up; there was always light in the darkest times. Soon, peace would be given to everyone, a paradise that would help everyone live for the better.

But what would people do for "peace"?

"Ah~ It's been so long since I had such a nice meal," you said and sighed. Looking out of the window, you saw Seto and Marry tending the sheep happily. Next to them was Momo and Hibiya trying to pick up apples from an apple tree, shouting at each other while they tried to reach for a high one.

The rest were no where to be found, either hunting or buying other ingredients for tonight's dinner. You returned back to trying to sew Konoha's shirt back and Kido's pants. You looked to your side and saw a bunch more clothes, not only from the gang but from other people as well and sighed. "Well, this is the best for everyone," you muttered and went back to sewing while humming happily.

Knock Knock

"Eh? Who is it?" You wondered while walking to open the door with caution. "Are you the seamstress of this village?" a cloaked girl said and you nodded.

The girl pulled out a scroll from under her cloak and said, "Miss (L/N), you are destined to become the next Messiah, the one who who has to get the nine blessings inside of the Tower of AI, glory which only nine Messiahs can get. I, the oracle of another kingdom, wish you the best of luck to bring back peace to this land."

The girl rolled back the scroll and placed it back in her cloak. "What...............? I am the next Messiah?!" you exclaimed in shock. "According to the oracle, yes. Unfortunately, I am not the oracle, only a mere messenger but she wanted me to tell you this." the girl kneeled down in front of you.

"Peace cannot be earned without a price. That may be the reason why the previous Messiahs have not yet get peace back to us. She said that you may take as many companions as you want, as long as they are willing to go on the long journey," the messenger said with her head down.

Before you could say another word, she left already, leaving you standing at the door, shocked at what you heard.

*At night*

"Wait, so you are the next Messiah?!"  Ene said and accidentally slipped Hibiya's cup of water. "Hey! Why did you do that?!" Hibiya said loudly but the rest didn't hear him. "Yes.................... and I was thinking if you all would like to come with me," you said the last sentence as quietly as possible.

Everyone didn't even need a second to think before saying, "Yes! Let's all go together!"

You looked up, surprised. "R-really?" you shuttered out and Kano smiled. "Of course! We are best friends after all, we will follow you wherever you are!" Kano said and Kido nodded her head and said, "Yes, friends stick together no matter what."

"Thank you minna!" You hugged all of them in a bone crushing smile and they all smiled and laughed. They truly cared for you no matter what happened.

"Before we go, now about we have a motto?" Seto suggested. Everyone thought hard before Marry shuttered out, "H-how about our motto be 'In sickness and in health, we share joy and pain', i-if that's ok with you!" and hid into a fluff ball.

You patted Marry's hair and said, "Of course that's ok, Marry. It's a nice motto." Marry lifted her head and smiled warmly.

"Ok, everyone. Time for bed. Konoha, stop eating everyone's leftover food. Me and (Y/N) will prepare everything so get some rest," Kido said and clapped her hands. "Hai!" they all said and ran to bed to get some shut eye.

"I hope everything goes well," you hoped.

After facing many difficult challenges, the gang finally reached the tower. "So, this is the legendary AI tower, eh? It doesn't look very impressive," Hibiya mocked and Konoha slapped his hand over his mouth. "Sorry, he sounded insulting to the gods and everyone," Konoha said and everyone almost bursted out laughing as Hibiya struggled to get out of Konoha's strong grip.

"So, off to the tower we go!" Ene said excitingly and pulled Shintaro. "Hey! I can walk on my own!" he said and shook off Ene's hand. You chuckled softly. Despite going through hard challenges, everyone was smiling and having fun. Even some of the duos who never get along were getting on with them just fine.

In your hand was a golden torch which was unlit. It was given to her by the messenger before she left and you thought it was important so you brought it along.

They opened the door to the tower and climbed up the first stairs. At the first floor, there was a big door with some cravings on it. "This must be the first blessing, the [Blooming Wave], " you said and pushed out your hand to open the door . Inside the room was a floating symbol above a pillar, where you were asked to touch to get the blessing.

Suddenly, Hibiya put his hand on yours and you looked at him, confused.

Hibiya gave a rare smile. He's eyes held a different look than usual. Suddenly, the smile turned into a greedy smirk and said, "We share joy and pain. We won't let you, " before pushing you out of the room, the door automatically slamming shut.

You lied on the floor, shocked. You looked at the big door that was shut and looked at your friends that were behind you. The "friends" she had stared at each other coldly and started running upstairs. You quickly got up and ran after them as fast as you could.

On the second floor, where the [Fire Banquet] was, the door was open and before you could walk through the door. Kido took out her sword and placed it in front of you, stopping you from getting there. Kido glared at you and pushed you out the door. "You can't keep it all to yourself, " you heard before the door slammed shut.

Currently on the third floor, Seto ran into the [Grace of the Sunlight] room and smiled complacently at Kano. The door, like the others slammed shut and Kano moved forward to the [Peaceful Darkness] to show his frustration while the others ran up above that floor while you followed the others and watched Kano walk into the other room with a greedy look.

"Greed is changing everyone," you cried but no one heard it as they ran forwards.

On the fifth floor, Konoha ran into the room which held the [Trembling Ground] as fast as he could and spread his arms widely while his face had a victory look before the door slammed shut. Up above that floor, you could hear Marry saying poet as the door closed to the room of [Rumble of Thunder].

"What is wrong with all of you?! What do you all want?!" you screamed up and panted as you tried to reach them. "To get a blessing!" Momo said and ran faster. "Grab a glory as fats as you can," Ene said as greed as in her voice. "Where have all my friends gone..................?" you thought, "Is everyone against me?!"

Ene, who had reached the [Rondo of Whirlwind], did a victory dance as the door slam shut as the others. The only ones left besides you were Momo and Shintaro.

At the second last room, Shintaro, panting and sweaty, ran into the [Garden of Sliver Snow] but Momo who was ahead of him pushed him away and whispered to him, "This is mine." "No!" Shintaro exclaimed and tried to reach her but he was too late, the door slammed shut before he could. Before it slammed shut, you swore you saw tears of joy on her face as they turned to ice.

"Shintaro.............................what's going on?!" you exclaimed and cried. There was one more blessing and you were sure Shintaro was going to run up and leave you. Surprising to you, he didn't and said, "Everyone is being greedy and want to get a blessing before you. Let's go to the next one, I'll give you that one." Shintaro gave you a smile and you nodded and you both slowly walked upstairs.

The last room, the ninth blessing in there was the sleeping [Fetal Movement of Magma]. You and him stepped into the room and you were about to touch the floating mark above the pillar when he stopped you. "Wait, there's something wrong," Shintaro muttered. "What is it?" you asked.

"You need to go outside so I can check it properly," Shintaro said. You were confused on why but you went out anyway. When you turned to him again, he was smiling proudly as the door closed in front of you, making a loud boom sound as it vibrated to the entire tower.

You felt.............................empty. You knelt down with your hands on your eyes. Tears came out of your eyes as you felt betrayed by all of your friends. All of the blessings were stolen and you, the most important Messiah, had none of them.

Being strong, you stood up and looked sadly at the torch in your hand. It still had no flame which made you feel more depressed. With a heavy heart, you walked up another flight of stairs, the last flight of stairs to the roof, where the alter stood.

Looking at the alter, your eyes widened as you stared at it. Around the alter were nine statues, and they all suddenly spoke.

"The true meaning of [blessing]"

"that sealed in the tower"

Two statues spoke in Seto's and Konoha's voice.

"You the messiah who got through this ordeal with those [sacrifices]"

"Now, add a new life of paradise"

You looked at all the statues with tears in your eyes. The statues were your friends, they sacrificed themselves so that you could get through everything. How could you have mistaken them for being greedy?

"Even though, being drowned in rough seas," -Hibiya

"Dancing in the hellfire," -Kido

"Helplessly falling to my knees in merciless drought," Seto

"Being trapped in darkness forever and losing my mind" -Kano

"Being swallowed by the earth," -Konoha

"We won't let you go by yourself," everyone sang as the tears in your eyes flowed down as you held a sad face. You knelt down and cried loudly.

"Even though, being struck by judgement lighting," -Marry

"Being tore up by the hurricane," -Ene

"Being frozen to the bones, to the soul," -Momo

"Crawling through the fire," -Shintaro

"We won't believing......................... In sickness and in health,"

A hand appeared in front of your face and you looked up to see the spirit of your friends, all looking at you proudly.

"We share joy and pain," they all said together as they turned into sparkled dust, their spirits gone.

"Their sacrifices......................." you muttered and looked up, hoping to see them again but they were no longer there. The red fire the statues were holding were dripping down what looked like magma.

You looked at the alter, trying to have a brave look and looked at the torch that was placed in the middle by you, the torch that was the Mekakushi Dan helped you to win. You silently smiled to youself as your never ending tears came flowing back.

"I have just created nine sorrows," you said and gave a painful smile while crying. You reached your hand out to the alter, wanting to achieve what she was here for.

What her friends were here for.

Everyone was finally in a room like they planned. They couldn't let you go in the room as they planned. All of them smiled as they reached out their hands to touch the glowing mark, the mark of the nine [sacrificial curses].

Before they touched it they looked behind them to see the close door that locked behind them. Outside of Shintaro's door, he could hear a female crying loudly. With a bitter smile, they said their last words and touched the mark.

"In sickness and in health, we share pain and joy. Live long and happily, Messiah, bringer of peace." Each said with a smile, each with no regret.

"Thank you for everything.............................................(Y/N)."

Finally! How long has it been since I updated this book?! I apologize to everyone!

This is the longest story I ever wrote so far I think. It wasn't even written well T-T.

This song is one of my personal favorites now but I don't think I did any justice for this song since I'm a horrible author with horrible writing and who doesn't update much T-T.

I almost cried when Len, IA, Rin and Mayu died. They are my favorite vocaloids and I have no idea why put Len as Shintaro. T-T (I accidentally spelled Shitnaro #lol)
