A week later and Tanaka was already getting there with doing some of the practise quick attacks, after two months is was almost ready to start doing some of the more complex quick attacks Hinatas and he others knew.

Kageyama had been training with Tanaka and Tsukkishima as well, trying to get better at serving to the both of them to increase their chances of winning even more.

They all noticed Hinatas change in behaviour, he seemed...happier? Yet at the same time he was empty.

Sugawara ended up finding out who Hinatas crush was, after Kageyama started dating Kiyoko it just became more obvious by the day. It hurt him, watching Hinata just ignore his own feelings like that- just so that Kageyama could be happy.

It was inhumane.

But he didn't say anything, he'd still find Hinata in the bathroom every now and then and comfort him when he cried, the both of them eventually talking about their days and the future they wished they could have.

When Hinata spoke about his future it was always so simple, things that could happen in the next month or so. He never spoke about the far future or really his future even, just close things like Tanaka being able to master what he's teaching him, that the team goes to nationals, that Kageyama and Kyoko end up happy together.

Simple things that will happen really soon, yet none of them were ever about his own future. What he really wanted and what he thought was best for him. Yet Sugawara never asked, everyone needs their own private life sometimes and Sugawara jus guessed that Hinata didn't want to end up talking about himself too much.

Regardless, the more time passed the closer yet further apart Hinata drifted from Kageyama and the team as a whole, and because of how well Hinata was at keeping quiet and keeping a distance- no one noticed.

Not even Sugawara.

He started by getting changed in the bathroom every now and then, to every other day to just not getting changed in the changing rooms. Staying in his classroom or hiding in the bathroom at any lunch and break, saying he couldn't hang out to the point everyone stopped asking, closing himself off from everyone.

It was going perfectly.

Sorry with the constant short chapters T_T my motivation to edit them and make them longer is being drained out by school...but my last day is Friday so no worries! I should be good by then!
