Laal Ishq

He held the hand resting on his collar...

Naina's gaze got stuck to his adam's apple that bobbed when he swallowed.

"Tumhe mazaa aata hai na aise mujhe chidhane mein? Koi baat nahi... meri baari aane do... badle toh main gin gin ke lunga." He rubbed the tip of his nose with hers.

"Chidha kahan rahi hun... main toh bas tumhara exam le rahi hun" Naina replied with an innocent face.

"Ab tumne exam mein top karna sikhaya hai toh dekhna... iss exam mein bhi top karunga... aur uss din, Naina Maheshwari... tum bach nahi paogi." His eyes reflected the fire that burned inside him.

Naina stared into the dark pools, their heat reaching her, making the blood in her veins heat up as the muscles of her stomach clenched, knotted and twisted her insides.

He cupped her face, stroking the soft cheek with his thumb, "Tum soch bhi nahi sakti main kitna pagal ho gaya hun tumhare liye, Naina... har pal sirf tumhara chehra aankhon ke aage chahta hun... har pal sirf tumhara haath apne haathon me chahiye... har pal bas tumhari khusbu mein khona hai... har pal bas tumhe apne kareeb rakhna hai..."

Naina could feel her legs turning into jelly as his voice got heavier with each sentence.

She wrapped her hands around him and rising on the toes, placed her cheek on his, whispering in his ear, "I Love You, Sameer Maheshwari... tum hamesha aise hi rehna... aur mujhe bhi pagal banake rakhna... tumhara liye."

Her soft voice and warm breath gave his already drumming heart more speed. He pressed her hard against himself... Naina clung to him with equal intensity of passion.

With great difficulty, they moved apart... realising that soon people would start moving around as their destination was just half an hour away now.

By the time the train reached Mumbai it was evening. Collecting their luggage, Sameer and Naina boarded a taxi as the suitcases would not fit into a rickshaw.

They reached the college when the daylight had started to fade and dusk was almost settling in.

"Kal bahar chalein? Waise bhi Sunday hai aur koi kaam bhi nahi hai", Sameer proposed as they walked through the gates.

"Theek hai... kal gyarah baje milte hain." Naina happily accepted.

They gave one last look to each other before turning towards their respective wings.

Naina emptied her suitcase and bag on the bed, sorting out the clothes and other things she had brought. After cleaning the cupboard, she placed all her dresses properly. As the paper bag caught her eye, Naina sat down on the bed, taking out the saree.

Sameer wanted her to wear this saree... she had worn it but he couldn't see. Well, she would wear it again, only for him. She felt the colour of saree matching the colour on her face as she held it against her and looked into the mirror.

Carefully folding the delicate saree, she packed it back in the paper bag and kept it safely on a lower shelf.

By the time she finished cleaning up the room and sorting her things, it was dinner time.

Naina checked the food items. The leftover alu paranthas were taken by Sameer, he wanted to eat them for dinner too, after eating the same thing for breakfast and lunch. She smiled, remembering the happiness on his face whenever he ate his favourite food.

Sameer had kept some sandwiches in her bag, along with two kachoris. She decided to have these for dinner instead of going down to the dining hall.

But she needed to take bath first. Locking her room, she headed for the bathroom.

Twenty minutes later, she was back... dresses in the pink Luckhnawi kurta and hair wrapped in a towel.

She went out to the balcony to put up the towel in clothes stand. As her eyes fell on the pipe, the memories of Sameer climbing to her balcony were refreshed... and she missed him.

Sighing, she went back to the room.

Sameer had been standing behind the next building, waiting for Naina's door to open. He had been missing her too. He wanted to catch a glimpse of her before sleeping. Seeing her standing there in the same kurta that she had worn on the terrace, her hair wet and dripping made him go weak. When she looked wistfully at the pipe, he knew she was missing him too.

This was enough motivation for him.

Sameer checked the surroundings... there was no one around as very few students had arrived today. Most of them would be coming tomorrow. Taking advantage of the solitude, Sameer climbed up the pipe, softly stepping into the balcony. He peeked inside.

Naina stood near the bed, combing her fingers through her wet hair... lost in thought. Then she brought all her hair over one shoulder, leaving her back clear... and turned to walk towards the table.

Sameer gasped. Her entire kurta was wet from behind... making it transparent. He could see the lines of her innerwear clearly. He knew he should go back...

He walked in.

Naina had tilted her head and was untangling them with her fingers when she felt some movement and turned with a jerk.

Her wet hair fell on Sameer's face.

Naina lost her balance... his hand instantly came around her waist.

She stared at him, wide eyed.

Sameer could feel the wet kurta under his hand. Slowly, he flicked the wet hair to fall behind and cover her back.

Naina saw the water drops on his face and her hand moved up instinctively, wiping the skin clean.

When her fingers moved over his lips, Sameer kissed.

Naina was jolted back to present... realising that he was not a dream. She tried to move but he held her pinned to himself.

"Sameer, tum... tum... kaise... yahan... iss time... " she stuttered.

"Tumne yaad kiya toh main aa gaya... kiya tha na abhi bahar?" He said softly.

Naina wondered how he came to know.

He stepped back, looking at her from top to bottom. Wet hair framing her face, pink kurta with white patiala... she looked like a dream. He noticed that she had not bothered with the dupatta that was lying in the corner of the bed.

Naina too could not help admire how he looked, he was wearing the t shirt that she had worn when she had gone to his room... along with track bottoms. He must have had a bath sometime back as the silky hair curled at the ends, sticking to his neck.

Sameer put a finger under her chin, making her look up, "Pata hai kyon aaya hun?"

She shook her head.

"Tumhe uss saree mein dekhna hai... nani ki saree mein", his voice was low.

"Abhi kaise pehnu? Yahan kamre mein bathroom nahi hai tumhare hostel ke jaise." She had taken the cheaper room at the time of admission and did not change it later as she felt comfortable here.

"Toh kya hua... yahin pehen lo... main ankhen band kar lunga", he winked.

"Besharam", Naina pushed him, going to the cupboard.

His eyebrows went up in surprise when she pulled out the bag and took out his nani's saree. When he had suggested this, he had never expected her to agree.

"Naina, kya tum sach mein... " He fumbled for words.

"Haan... aur tumhe ankhen band karne ki bhi zaroorat nahi hai", she said in a normal tone.

His mouth fell open.

Naina chuckled at his condition, opened the saree and started wrapping it around herself.

Sameer was confused, "Yeh kya kar rahi ho? Saree toh alag wale blouse ke saath pehente hain na?"

His mind immediately drifted back to the green blouse on a particular rainy day.

"Iska blouse nahi hai mere paas abhi... aur tumhe toh yehi dekhna hai na ki main isme kaisi lagti hun... woh aise bhi pata chal jayega." She continued to set the pleats.

In less than five minutes, Naina stood in front of him wearing the red saree he had gifted her.

In spite of the contrasting pink kurta, she looked resplendent. He walked up to her, drinking in the sight of his girl draped in the love of only other woman who loved him. He placed the pallu on her head.

"Naina, aisa lagta hai yeh saree nani ne tumhare liye hi kharidi thi... dulhan lag rahi ho." He held her face, looking into the deep brown eyes.

Naina coloured at the mention of bride. She turned... and the saree got stuck in Sameer's ring, pleats falling open as she moved ahead.

They both looked at the fabric lying on the floor and bit their lips... together.

Naina quickly picked it up, folded and walked back to the cupboard to place it safely.

"Umm... Sameer, ab tum aa hi gaye ho toh gift bhi le jao apna." She turned to look at him, holding the door of the cupboard.

Sameer sighed... what all he had in mind and here Naina was ready to hand him a shirt or maybe a pen or such thing.

"Lekin pehle apni ankhen band karo", she insisted.

Having no excitement about it, Sameer closed his eyes.

Naina picked out something from her cupboard and walked upto him.

He suddenly felt a soft thing fall on him... her equally soft voice was very close, "Abhi mat kholna."

He waited.

He felt her hands on his shoulders as she lifted herself and brushed her lips against his.

Sameer's eyes flew open... not able to believe the softness he just felt.

He took in the red dupatta covering both of them... her face glowing under it, eyes shining...

His heart beating at unimaginable speed, he noticed the rapid rise and fall of her chest.

His eyes posed a question and her eyes covered themselves in the veil of thick lashes, giving him the answer.

His heart leapt into his mouth.

Slowly, his hand moved into her hair as he fisted them gently. Tilting her head back a little, he lowered his face.

The feeling that he had been longing for was more heavenly than he could have ever imagined. Her soft lips parted for him as he placed his parched ones on them...

Her hands went around his neck, pulling him closer as she felt his lips  cover hers, sucking softly... and then he slowly moved to nibble at the lower one... the sensation she felt was a whole new thing for her. The current that passed when his lips touched hers went straight till her legs, electrifying her body.

Sameer could not get enough of her... he crushed her in his arms, pressing her more and more into him as his mouth continued to savour her.

When they could not breathe, he moved a bit, resting his forehead on hers... both trying to get some air to their lungs.

Sameer was the first one to recover.  He looked at Naina... hair falling on the face, swollen lips, closed eyes, flaming cheeks which looked more red because of the dupatta, breathing in gasps... she looked like a painter's muse.

He grazed his thumb over her plump lips.

Naina opened her eyes... seeing him watching her with intense passion, she pressed her teeth into the lower lip.

Sameer pulled at it with his thumb, shaking his head, "Aaj ke baad jab bhi tum yeh karogi toh sazaa milegi... pata hai kya?"

She slightly shook her head.

His lips claimed hers again... with all the passion he had kept locked inside him.
