Diya huffed as she wrote the next paragraph(it would be better if said she was scratching the page).

She rolled her eyes as she looked at the clock.

"Isn't it stuck at that number even though the second hand is moving" she whispered.

"shh" Mr. Dan signed her to be quite.

'Why god why?  What have I ever done to be born in so bad time' she looked up twisting her lips.

"Honey" Diya and Ragini's father looked at his wife who was roaming crossing her arms.

She gave one look and he gulped the lump inside.

Her one look was enough to shut his mouth.

He sat there like a kitten scared of the dog in front.

Diya looked at her father and he nodded his head giving a helpless look to her.

"Mom" Diya found the courage finally to let the word out.

Her mother turned to her with the intensity 10 times. That made Diya's heart to stop beating.

She gave a sheepish smile to her mother and lowered her gaze.

"Why do you behave like a toddler still?" Her mother asked and Diya closed her eyes expecting more out burst from her mother.

As she guessed it was just the trailer of the movie her mom directed and the real movie was about to start.

"You are grounded for the whole month. If you step out of this house for anything else than college you are gonna face the worst consequences" Her mother stated at the end of her shower of preachings.

Diya looked at her mother horror stricken.

"You're kidding me right?" Diya asked with a weak smile to which Her mother responded with the smirk.

"She won't do that right Dad?" Diya turned to her father while her mother left the place.

"She already did that" Her father looked sympathetically at his daughter.

Ragini who was hiding near the stairs came to Diya after their father also walked to the room.

"Finally. You got time to check on your criminal twin?" Diya asked Ragini.

"I am so sorry D. I was so panic stricken then that reaching home became my first priority and it completely went out of my mind that I left you there" Ragini squeezed her eyes.

"And why did you came in a taxi till the gate?" Ragini asked her twin sister when there was no response further.

"Becuase my good timer left me in the middle of the road. And it wasn't taxi" Diya rolled her eyes.

"Wasn't taxi?" their mother stood behind Diya and she cursed her time sense.

She turned slowly to find her mother's already scary face becoming more scary.

"I have strictly told both of you until you cross junior college no boyfriends" Her mother warned.

Diya pouted and Ragini gulped the lump formed in her throat.

"He was just a friend mom. I just met him randomly. And how can you not hear the previous sentence?" Diya asked her mother.

"Don't teach me to be a mom. Now go to your room. Don't spoil my good kid and make her like you" their mom walked and Diya watched her open mouthed.

"You went to prom. You went to date with your boyfriend. You climbed the wall and came back leaving me there in the road. And I am the spoilt kid?  Seriously why am I so unlucky" Diya spoke frustrated.

Ragini gave her sister a sheepish smile.

"Forget it. It's been 17 year we were born and the damage is already done" Diya walked to the room and Ragini followed her.

Diya landed back to present where she was still scratching the page.

She pouted again looking at the clock which almost looked dead.

When Sanskar entered the class today his face had no clue that he will be giving Diya the appreciation she deserved.

"So class. I have been teaching you numbers and some have gone so forward with their thoughts that they are learning parabola already" he rubbed his cheek looking at Diya.

She wasn't sure Why Was he giving her that look. Ragini did not warn her anything.

He walked near to her and smirked.

She was mentally cursing her twin who might have caused this god knows what has she done while placing the assignment.

"Remember?" Sanskar whispered near her ears pointing at his cheek.

Diya looked at him for a second and then placed a kiss on his cheek as though understanding he was asking for it.

The whole class gasped and Sanskar stood straight with his wide eyes and half open mouth.

He looked at Diya who was smiling innocently.

"DETENTION" they heard a scream and looked at the classroom door where Principal Mr. Fryer was watching this with anger boiling inside him.

"Yesterday you called my cheek parabola and today because of you my job is at risk. Why are you such a freak?" Sanskar walked out of the class shouting at Diya who had no clue what just happened.

She sat there and the class around her giggled and whispered.

Karan was casually walking outside the detention room when he found Diya inside scratching the pages of her book.

"Why is she here?" he spoke. There was no way he could enter the room. The detention hour had just started.

He found the Principal walking towards him.

"Sorry sir" he  spoke and threw the basket ball in his hand aiming at the Principal.

The burger in Mr. Fryer's hand went flying and landed on the ground.

He looked at it emotionally then at the source from where the ball flew.

He saw Karan smiling at him. "DETENTION" he screamed and Karan ran inside the detention room and sat there relaxing his thumping heart which was scared due to Mr. Fryer's scream.

He looked around then found Diya just a bench in front of him.

He took out his notebook and wrote something and passed it to her desk.

Diya who looked at the book turned back to find Karan grinning at her.

She smiled at him and he signed her to look at the book.

She opened it and read the note : " Hey Miss Sunshine. What happened? Why are you here?" she smiled as if she could hear his voice in that dead silence room.

"My Bad Mr. Prince Charming. Long story. Will tell you sometime else" she wrote and passed the book back.

Karan smiled reading it. "Will you come with me for a coffee after the detention is over?" he wrote and passed the book.

Diya smiled blushing after reading it.

"I will. Only if you tell how did you end up here?" she passed the book.

"I attacked on lion's food :(" he  passed the book.

"I did not knew you also address Mr. Fryer as lion 😂"

Karan controlled his laugh looking at the emoji at the end.

"Well some deserve the universal name 😜"

They continued exchange the book and talk in that silent room.

Sanskar gulped the third shot in a go while the music in the club was deafening.

His eyes moved on the dance floor and he saw Ragini dancing with someone.

"I don't want to hear your excuses Mr. Maheshwari. We have high standards in this institution and we strictly prohibit the teachers involving with the students other than professional grounds. This is gonna be your final warning. I won't tolerate such behavior anymore" Mr. Fryer warned Sanskar.

He walked out of the Principal's cabin frustrated.

"All because of Ms. Freak out" he banged the steering wheel while he drove it.

"After almost risking my job she is celebrating? Ms. Freak out you are gonna pay for it." he gritted his teeth looking at the dance floor.

He called a waiter and whispered something in his ear and placed a dollar bill in his pocket.

The waiter walked to Ragini with a drink and she looked at him confused.

"Sorry I don't drink alcohol" she refused to drink it.

"No ma'am it's a complimentary drink which came with your special passes. And it ain't alcohol" he forwarded a glass to her and offered the other one to Rebecca.

Rebecca took the first sip and assured Ragini that it is good to drink.

Ragini took the glass thanking the waiter and gulped the liquid down her throat.

It tasted weird. Sanskar smirked looking at her.

He walked to the dance floor and forwarded his hand.

Ragini looked at his hand then at his face. Her blood froze in fear.

Sanskar held her hand and moved her mercilessly.

Rebecca was confused looking at them.

Before she could stop Sanskar her phone beeped and she opened the message.

"Ragzee I got to go. Mumma isn't feeling well" she whispered in Ragini's ear. "You will come with me or wanna stay?" she asked.

"I will manage. You leave" Ragini assured her friend.

Rebecca bid Her bye and walked from there.

Sanskar dragged Ragini and she fell on his chest. She looked at him with fear as he  tightened his hold on her.

They kept moving with the music and the alcohol started acting on Ragini.

She fell unconscious in Sanskar's arms.

He lifted her and walked out of the club. Placing her inside the car he ignited the car. He then stopped the car at the signal.

He searched her bag and found her home address. He drove the car in that direction.

He lifted her and walked inside the gate.

He banged on the door bell and Ragini's mom opened the door.

She was shocked looking at Sanskar who was carrying Ragini.

"Baby" she got concerned.

Sanskar placed her on the couch and stood in front of Ragini's mother.

"You should be careful with your child. It was fortunate that I found her in the club. How can you let your under aged kid to drink alcohol?" he pretended to be strict.

"Alcohol?" Ragini's mother looked at him shocked.

"Yes. And as soon as she was unconscious Her boyfriend was ready to take advantage of her. Luckily I got her" he smirked turning to Ragini.

"Boyfriend? " she asked.

"Yeah. Someone named Sam" he made up a name.

He walked from there leaving Ragini's mother to look at her daughter shocked and his smirk darkened.

"Flood... Flood... " Ragini woke up with a jerk feeling the water everywhere. When she opened her eyes she found the blur figure if her mother standing with a bucket in  her hand.

She wiped her face and looked around and then realized that she was in her home.

"How... Did I... Come here?" she held her paining head.

"Then where  else you were expecting yourself to be?  In Sam's apartment?" Her mother crossed her arms.

"Sam? " Ragini looked at her mother.

"Yeah your boyfriend" Her mother spoke.

"Boyfriend?" Ragini asked confused.

"Which boyfriend?" she asked.

"How many do you have? I had warned you both that no boyfriends" Her mother spoke with anger.

"But mom" she tried to speak but she could hardly make any sense of her mother's words.

"Mumma" Diya strode down the stairs.

"Finally my real good daughter is here" their mom walked and hugged Diya.

"Good daughter. Real good daughter?  Am I dreaming?" she asked looking at her mother.

"You are better than your twin who keeps hiding things from me" their mother spoke kissing her cheek.

"And you" she turned to Ragini.

"You are grounded for a month" She warned and walked to her room.

"Something is not making sense. Oh my god... Oh my god" Diya screeched and jumped.

"Finally I can breath. You got your first punishment twin sister" she jumped and hugged Ragini who was still processing Her thoughts..

"And why?  Why am I punished?" she asked.

"Because finally Ms. Good time your Bad time has started" Diya spoke innocently and ran to their room.

Then Ragini's mind played whatever happened in the club and she realized it was Sanskar who brought the bad time to her perfect evening.

"You messed with the wrong person Mr. Akdu" she said determined.

Sanskar couldn't hold his laugh while he sat in his room rewinding the things happened.

While he was placing Ragini inside the car she held his collar and his lips slightly brushed her lips and he hit his head to the roof of the car and fell back on her again.

She was smiling with her closed eyes. He tucked the hair strand disturbing her. And his fingers moved on her soft cheek and he felt himself losing in that touch.

He was about to kiss her again when Mr. Fryer's warning stopped him and he walked towards his seat.

Sanskar looked at his fingers and tried to feel that soft touch of her cheek again.

Her rosy lips were not letting him to be in peace all night.

He stirred in his sleep while everytime her face flashed in front of his eyes.

The night looked prolonged as his heart was in a hope to meet her again as the sun will rise.
