A head craned out of the big lawn wall. Diya looked around carefully.
"I hope queen of good times have done the work without being caught. Otherwise my first impression gonna turn out to be the worst impression" she looked around her eyes were at the verge of crocodile tears.
Karan who was walking casually wearing his head phones found someone peeping inside the lawn compound of a mansion and carefully walked towards the person whose half body only was visible to him.
For a moment he stopped his steps fearing what if there was no head at all to this body. His imagination came alive from the scary movies he had watched.
He did not wanted to disturb the headless person so he walked carefully without making a slight sound near it.
He stopped dead when he heard the huffing tone and looked at the headless body again.
"Damn" he heard a whisper. 'A person cannot speak without the head. Can they?' he thought for a while and gathered all his courage and adjusted his collar.
He patted the shoulder of the person. Diya clucked her teeth and pushed his hand away. Karan again patted her shoulder and she repeated same thing.
Her eyes went wide when she realized that there was someone who just patted her shoulder. She felt the death coming to her and covering her face with a thick blanket and she struggling to get out of the hold.
Gulping that hard lump down her throat she prayed to every god and god like creature wishing for an escape from the situation..
She slowly moved her head and found Karan looking at her and now his normal face had changed the expression and he was staring her blankly.
"What are you doing here?" he asked her while she smiled at him sheepishly.
"You know the night is dark. Stars are light. College is gonna start at 11 Tomorrow. I got headach. Flowers smelled good. Mummy was hungry. Door was locked. I saw a dog. Dadda went fishing....." she looked at him with a cheeky smile.
"One.... One sentence also did not make sense" he looked at her still with a confused expression.
"Yeah... " she giggled nervously. "I know" she said.
"Where is this queen of good times. Why god why do you hate me so much and love her double" she spoke in her mind while she looked up...
Karan followed her gaze.
"Are you waiting for a spaceship?" he asked her.
"Possibly"
"What?" he looked at her.
"If I be here for one more second I am gonna bring the bad time to the whole world" she thought as she looked at Karan.
"I forgot. I had a game to watch" she caressed her forehead and started walking.
"Game? At this time?" Karan walked behind her.
"You are also walking at this time na Mr. Vampire. Then can't I watch a match?" she rolled her eyes.
Karan looked at her sceptically. Was he hallucinating? Because the words looked like spoken by someone else not Ragini.
He was true though. Only if he knew.
"Hey Ms. Sunshine"he looked at her. Diya stopped and gave him a weird look.
"You called me sunshine?" she asked pointing at herself.
"I mean really? Finally someone realized I'm not all bad luck after all" she smiled widely.
"Bad luck? And you? Impossible" Karan nodded his head.
"Tell me who says that. I will surely break their bones. How dare they call you that?" he spoke determined.
"Am I dreaming?" Diya looked at him dreamily.
She pinched herself to make sure she wasn't actually dreaming.
"Ouch" she yelped. Karan walked to her quickly and asked her if she is okay. She smiled at him lost and nodded her head negatively.
"I was just making sure I'm not dreaming Mr. Prince Charming" she smiled.
"Prince Charming. Woah" he smiled widely.
"This isn't fair" she cried. Karan looked at her.
"I mean how can I have to choose between two good things now" she looked horrified.
"What things?" Karan asked her...
"I have to choose between you.... " and she stopped suddenly.
She looked at him and her eyes were boggled out.
She changed her expression to smile.
"I mean... " "You have to choose between me and? " asked Karan and his heart felt sinking suddenly.
"No I mean..." "Don't change the topic now" he looked at her.
"No I'm not changing the topic. I'm.... I'm just giving it a better meaning" She looked at him with a smile.
"I have to choose between you and...."She looked around and found a fountain.
"Fountain" she squealed happy.
"Fountain.?" he looked at her and she ran in that direction..
"You know I like fountains. Sky is full of stars. We have so many galaxies. Chocolates are life. Sahara is a desert. Elephant is so big. Sea water is salty. We are in Europe and London bridge is falling..."
"Okay before you end up screwing my brain and your vocabulary stop. I got it" he raised his hand in mock surrender.
"You are so.... So so... So cute Mr. Fountain" she leaned to him while she was standing on the small wall of the fountain.
Her leg slipped and she struggled to stand. But luckily she landed safely in Karan's arms.
She snaked her hands across his neck while he kept staring her.
"Your eyes" he stared into her eyes.
She cursed him while she got off his arms and looked at him.
"They look different" he analyzed them.
"Are they looking like toad eyes?" she showed her eyes.
Karan couldn't help but lose himself in that moment. His heart picked up a beat and he just kept staring her.

Sanskar stirred in his sleep and Ragini immediately hid behind the couch. She moved her head carefully up to see if he has opened his eyes.
She left a deep sigh when she saw him peacefully sleeping.
"Can someone be so devil in character and so innocent on face?" she whispered looking at Sanskar.
"Ohho Ragini. You came here to keep the assignment. Accomplish the mission and get out of this lion's den." she told to herself and scanned the room to see where the assignments have been placed.
Her eyes stopped at the pile of assignment files on the table which was beyond Sanskar's bed.
She smiled widely and tiptoed to reach the table.
Sanskar again stirred in his sleep and Ragini quickly bent herself so that he doesn't notice her.
She crawled over the carpet on her elbows and knees to reach the table.
She stood on her legs as she reached the table and grinned widely looking at the assignment file in her hand.
She placed the file and sighed. "Finally" she whispered and turned. And the mug who had tangled itself to her bracelet got the perfect timing to hit the ground.
Ragini's eyes went wide when she saw the mug falling. She quickly held it just an inch above the ground and sighed.
She placed it back and turned to see Sanskar still sleeping like a kid. She slowly walked to him and knelt beside.
He looked so cute she wanted to pinch his cheeks but she controlled her hand which stopped near his face.
Then some bad time struck in the clock of Ms. Good times and the mug which was at the edge of the table fell down with a thud and broke into pieces.
Sanskar who opened his eyes startled found Ragini with her hands near his cheek and she was watching him horrified.
Before he could realize anything she stood up and was ready to make a run.
But Sanskar's reflexes were too quick and he stood up reaching her and stopped her holding her hand.
She struggled to get out of his hold which just went on tightening.
"Sanskar" he heard his mother's voice and the knock on his door.
"What was that noise?" she asked.
Ragini turned to Sanskar who was looking at the door.
"N... Nothing mom" he reached Ragini closing her mouth so that she doesn't make any noise.
"Open the door" his mother demanded. Sanskar looked around panicking.
He held opened his closet and made Ragini sit inside it. "Dare you make a bit of noise also" he whispered deadly warning her.
He closed the door and walked to the room door. "What's it mom. I said right nothing" he looked at his mother who was scanning the room.
"I hope you aren't bringing your girlfriends to my home. If I came to know you brought any I'm gonna throw you out for sure." his mother warned.
"Girlfriends? Plural" Ragini whispered.
She nodded her head rolling her eyes.
Some dust entered her nostrils and she sneezed. Sanskar widened his eyes and sneezed again when he saw his mom's ears turning sharp.
Ragini sneezed again and Sanskar sneezed after that.
"Why are you sneezing twice?" his mother asked.
"Echo mom Echo" he said covering the lie.
"So why am I not hearing the Echo of my words?" asked she.
"It's special Echo mom. I have installed a antibacterial machine. Which echos the sneezes reminding us that we are emitting the bacterias to the environment. So whenever we sneeze it echos" he smiled at his mother.
His mother sneezed and she waited for the echo to work.
"it's a smart device mom. It can detect your lies" Sanskar smirked at his mom.
She rolled her eyes. He did not wanted his mother's super detective mind to work more.
"Mom. I'm sleepy. Good night" he yawned and pushed her out to close the door. He sighed leaning to the door and realized that he had actually locked a girl inside the closet.
He quickly walked to open the closet and found Ragini rubbing her nose.
"Couldn't you hold your sneeze for a while?" he asked her lowly.
She gave him a sick look. "Like you train all your girlfriends to master the art of controlling natural reflexes. Sorry but I'm not your girlfriend and I'm not trained" she crossed her arms.
Sanskar fumed looking at her.
"None of your business Ms. Freak out all the time. What are you doing in my room and in my home?" asked he crossing his arms.
Ragini was shocked now. How will she answer him or what will she answer him.
"And what were you trying to do there?" he signed at his bed.
"Me?" she asked pointing to herself.
"Nope. The past tense of you" he gave her a bore look.
"I.... I....." she tried to think of a reason. But was there any explanation for her being there.
"Why do you act like a stuck internet everytime I ask you a logical question?" asked he.
"Actually" she gulped the sore lump down.
"I had a doubt" she finally came up with an explanation.
"What doubt?" he looked at her narrowing his eyebrows.
"Today the topic you taught" she processed her brain.
"Parabola" she looked at him and he nodded his head.
"I suddenly realized your cheek is not an exact parabola" she continued.
"That doubt did not let me sleep and you have told right to clear the doubts as soon as we get it. So I just came here to clear it. Sorry sir" she made a quick run to the window and climbed down and ran towards the lawn wall.
Sanskar was still understanding what she said. He tried stopping her but by the time he reached the window she hand climbed out.
Sanskar's father who was drinking water near the freezer spit out finding a girl outside the mansion and escaping the lawn.
"This boy. Why can't he understand. His mother hates all his hook ups" he nodded his head and walked towards his room.
Sanskar walked to the mirror and looked at his cheek analyzing whether it's a perfect parabola or not.
Realization hit him late.
"But I taught number system today" his eyes went wide when he understood that Ms. Freak out all the time had actually tricked him.
He fumed but a smile crept his lips when he remembered her cute face while she was explaining.
"Ms. Freak out all the time. You do freak out and make others also freak out eventually." he nodded his head and his eyes stopped at his table near which the mug fell down.
He neared his table and found the position of assignments changed.
"Can she be any crazier" he nodded his head when he understood Why Was she actually there.
He lied on his bed facing the ceiling and closed his eyes with a smile on his face.
Ragini looked back once at Sanskar's mansion before she made a run again...
She hired a taxi and reached the place just a bit away from home and walked to reach the compound. She climbed and walked inside it. Then climbed the window reaching her room and lied on her bed relaxing.
She opened her eyes wide when she finally remembered she left Diya there itself.
She sat up on her bed panicked. She heard a car halting voice and moved to the window.
She saw Diya getting down of a taxi just infront of the gate.
Ragini face palmed. She saw her mother walking towards the gate and standing with her crossed arms.
Diya who was all smiles changed her face expression suddenly horrified looking at her mother.
"Dooms day" Ragini whispered.
"I'm dead" Diya whispered as she saw her mother's stiff face.
