Karan's eyebrows narrowed as finally his senses were returning and he stirred in his position. He opened his eyes finally coming out of the unconscious state and stared at the ceiling blankly. “You scared the hell out of me dude” Shane's head craned in front of him and he jerked a bit. He rubbed his paining head and tried recalling what had happened.

The view out of the window just before he blacked out was still fresh in his mind. “Damn” he sat up quickly. “I need to tell him” he blabbered. “Tell whom and what?” Shane gave him a confused look. Karan did not respond to him. “I just need to tell him this” he blabbered and walked out of the medical room leaving Shane wondering what just happened.

“Sanky...” he popped his head inside the classroom he knew his cousin brother will be right now in. Sanskar jerked a bit as he least expected Karan at this time. “Code red. Code red” he repeated and made a quick run from there. Nobody in the class understood what he actually spoke other than the man for whom the code meant. “Oh no” he panicked as his eyes went wide in a second and he felt his breath hacking.

“Okay class. I have an emergency. We will continue it in the next session” his temple started to form sweat droplets as he struggled to grab his belongings and flee from there as early as possible. 'Code red' his mind repeated what his cousin blurted out before leaving and a chill shiver ran through his spine.

“And assignment sir?” one of the studios student asked. “Enjoy your this weekend” he gave an unsure smile and walked out of the class. His brain was planning the steps but his concise was not making it look like he was normally walking. He bumped into someone as he wasn't looking up and soon regretted doing that. “I am sorry...” he stopped when he looked up.

“Maya...” he tried to smile but his facial muscles failed.

“Awww baby. Look at you. What have you made yourself?” she gave him a pity look and Sanskar wondered what she meant. “You missed me didn't you?” she asked nearing him and scaring him.

“Not even a second” he stopped and looked at her face which was changing colors. “I spent without missing you” he smiled and relaxed when she smiled again.

'That was close' he thought in his mind while Maya held his shoulder and he looked at her hand like some snake has fallen from the roof over his shoulder instead.

“I know right. And I missed you too sweet pumpkin” she pulled his nose and he couldn't help but smile forcefully. She kept talking random things and Sanskar's mind was just thinking what if Ragini sees all this. He wouldn't mind making her a bit jealous if she is going to get that.

But that would mean giving Maya the hint she was ever waiting for. His bad time has only started. While they were walking in the hallway Ragini walked from the opposite side and stopped looking at them. Maya's hand was dangling with Sanskar. He smirked when he saw Ragini's face turning red. At one corner of his mind told him was it necessary now when she has agreed to come for the date.

Ragini looked up and found Sanskar smirking. She guessed he was doing this to make her jealous. 'You are so not getting that jerk' Ragini thought and walked further stopping in front of the couple. “Awww. Such adorable couple” she cooed making Sanskar's smirk fade away and worry cover.

“Is she your girlfriend?” Ragini asked with sparkling eyes. “No..” “Yes” Maya interrupted him.

“I am so damn lucky that I am able to see a made in heaven couple” she looked up and admired them. Sanskar fumed this time.

'What does she mean made in heaven? This girl is getting on my nerves. Common sense if I had a girlfriend why on earth will I ask her out?' Sanskar spoke in his mind.

“Actually” Sanskar took his hand out of Maya's hold who did not liked it at all. Her breathing was burning which could be felt by Sankar. He gulped turning his head towards her. She looked no less than the lady devil.

“Bye sir... And enjoy your date.” Ragini gave him a wide grin and walked away biting her cheeks inside. “Rag...” he tried to stop but his hand was held by Maya.

“Darling why are you wasting our time talking to such inferiors” Maya gave him a smile and he smiled back nervously.

“And you planned a date for me? How sweet” she pulled his cheek and he smiled nervously.

'Damn this girl. Couldn't she save her boyfriend? Oh come on Sanky you just asked her out and moreover it was your evil mind which was trying to be smart and she showed you your real IQ level. Mathematician and trapped himself in a date which he planned for someone else.' his mind kept battling as he walked further.

“Oh no. He is trapped” Karan who walked that way hid himself behind the pillar and watched his cousin in shackles of Ms. Devil. “I got to do something” he bit his nails. He looked around and found Diya on her way to the next class.

“Hey sunshine” he stood in front of her and she jumped in her place due to his sudden appearance.

She placed her hand over her fast beating heart and looked up at Karan. His smile had something else also this time. Like he was worried. “How do you save someone from the hands of devil?” he asked and Diya looked at him not understanding what he meant.

“I mean how do you save someone from a devil like girl who wants to be the official girlfriend but your cousin is a jerk who dated her in past and now want to run away after learning a lesson?” he scanned the floor.

“What?” she still did not understand what he meant.

“Damn... I am panicking” he said waving his hands and trying to cool himself. “Karan” Diya placed her hand over his chest and tried to calm him. His heart which was thumping fast relaxed at her touch and he could hear his heavy breaths. “Calm down okay” she said looking into his eyes.

“Oh Jeez. What am I gonna do?” he said looking around. “What's wrong tell me clearly” Diya asked him. He looked at her unsure. “I know I am making complete fool of myself but.. ahhh.” he said letting out a deep sigh.

“If you don't tell me. I cannot help you” she stated. “You will help me?” he asked surprised. “I will. Only if you tell me everything” she crossed her arms.

“I want to save my cousin from a devil.. I mean a clingy girl who wants to be his girlfriend but she is just too bad” he narrated like a  small kid.

'How can someone be so cute, innocent and cute again. Ahhh. D... get yourself together. He is your sister's boyfriend and you can't have him ever' she thought in her mind and looked away. “Then tell your cousin to fake that he has moved on with another girl” she shrugged her shoulders.

Karan stared her for a good amount of time. “Has anyone ever told you this?” he stood closer to her and she looked at him confused.

“You are a genius” he picked her up and twirled. Diya was beyond shocked at this. “Stop.. stop..” she said and he stopped and brought her down and while doing so the proximity between them sent the butterflies in her stomach on a flight.

Both of them kept staring at each other and lost in their own world where everything around them was blur. “Will you be my cousin's girlfriend?” he asked and Diya's eyes went wide.

“I'm sorry. Let me put it in better phrase. Will you be my cousin's fake girlfriend and save him from the devil who intends to be his girlfriend but my poor cousin doesn't want to be even around her”

“Give me a break” she said cocking her head back. “Good.. come” he held her hand and walked towards Sanskar.

“I.. I never said yes” she said panicking. “You never said no” he countered. “That's because you did not let me to” she said trying to stop him but he was too strong.

“Bro... you had forgotten your girlfriend” Karan stood in front of Sanskar and Maya. Sanskar looked at his cousin and then at the girl he was holding.

“Are you kidding me?” Maya fumed. “Um... I am sorry Maya. I forgot to tell you. Here... she is my girlfriend and I... was just trying to make her a bit jealous” he spoke carefully. Diya's eyes boggled out.

“You bloody... “ Maya who was charging at Diya was stopped by Karan who stood in front of her protectively. “Watch your language” he stood determined. Maya's nostrils flared up. The bell rang. “I got to go” Karan walked from there his hand leaving Diya's hand. She watched her hand blankly.

“This is not going to end here” Maya warned Diya and walked from there fuming. Sanskar left a breath which he was holding from a long time.

He looked at Diya who was still shocked. He observed her attire. “You are Diya. Aren't you?” he asked and she glared him. “No I am Madonna” she walked from there with heavy steps.

He nodded his head and started breathing again. “Oh. Karan brought his girlfriend to help me out?” he scratched his head. “How kind of him. But she was pissed” he glanced back at Diya.

“It's time I tell him about my girlfriend so that he need not risk his love life to save my ass” he spoke to himself.

“Language” he spoke in Captain America style scolding himself for using the inappropriate words.

“You know something” Diya banged her books on the desk as she settled beside Ragini who was in her own thoughts.

She was disturbed due to Sanskar's behavior. Why was she even thinking about it. She was with Karan now and Sanskar meant nothing to her. Or he meant something to her. Why is that she feels so out of her shell whenever she is around Sanskar. Why her heart keeps racing when he touches her. Why she craves for his lips to savor her lips all the time. Why does that hot jerk occupies all her mind.

She jerked and looked at her twin sister who was annoyed. Before she could ask Diya started to speak. “I make a conclusion today” she said huffing. “And what's that?” asked Rebecca from other side.

“All men are idiots” she spoke it a bit loud and got glares from all the boys in the class.

“She didn't mean to” Ragini smiled sweetly at everyone and they all looked away.

“D...” Ragini deadly whispered. “What? I did spoke the truth though” she shrugged her shoulders. Before they would continue their sisterly brawls their professor stepped.

Diya was recalling what just happened in the hallway. When Karan left her hand she felt vulnerable. Everyone eventually leaves her. And he did the same thing though he never was with her. Or he was there always but assuming her to be Ragini. What it would have been if he met Diya before Ragini? Would he had fallen in love with her?

She shook her head coming back to the reality. Why was she even thinking all this? He was not hers. He was always Ragini's. If he was never meant for her why did she even fall in love with him. Why did she fall in love with him so deeply that she preferred drowning herself than floating back to the surface.

Both the sisters were in their world of thoughts. Meddling with the feelings, with emotions which were stirred.

“It's the time” Rebecca spoke after the bell rang. “Time for what?” Ragini asked. “Your date” Diya completed.

“No..” Ragini whined. “I so want to teach that jerk a lesson” Diya rubbed her wrist.

“Then you are going on a date with him instead of me?” Ragini asked hopefull.

“No.. no... I don't want to go on another date imposing as my twin sister...” Diya shrank her eyes. “And get kissed by her boyfriend” she spoke lowly.

“So you had been on date with Karan?” Rebecca asked surprised. Ragini slapped her forehead. “Why do you keep doing this Ragzee?” Rebecca turned to Ragini. “Because I am having the privilege of twin sister” Ragini smiled sheepishly and Rebecca rolled her eyes.

“Hey” Ragini was frozen hearing his voice. She turned slowly and saw Sanskar smiling at her. 'Oh god why?' she prayed in her mind.

“We have a date” he caressed his neck blushing. “Oh where is your girlfriend then? Is she at the venue already waiting for you to snog her in that private place she has searched?” Ragini fumed crossing her arms.

“What?” he raised his eyebrows. “I am sorry I don't repeat myself. I have lot of thing to do which are interesting than stand here and waste my time” she started to walk.

Sanskar acted swiftly and walked to her. Holding her hand he turned her. “Are you still pissed off due to the earlier incident? I am sorry. I did not mean to hurt you. I just wanted to make you a bit jealous” he admitted honestly.

“Like I give a damn... You go on a date with someone or have a nice time with them or not. I don't care” she said turning furiously.

He held her wrist this time a bit tighter and dragged her back and made her stand in front of him.

“Oh you don't care?” he hissed nearing her and she back walked. Diya walked to her sister's rescue. “I don't care” Ragini challenged him.

Diya regretted it soon when she stopped dead in her position when Sanskar held Ragini's face and kissed her. Ragini did not move and stood shocked. Diya covered her eyes.

Rebecca looked at them horrified and looked around if anyone was in that way. “Principal Fryer” she panicked when she saw the principal walking that way. “D...” she called Diya who did not heard her.

Sanskar left Ragini when they felt it difficult to breath. “ I will make sure you care next time” he smirked and walked from there leaving disoriented Ragini to gain herself back.

Diya opened her one eye and then approached her sister who was standing like something hit her too hard. Rebecca quickly walked and distracted Principal Fryer.

“You can't let him kiss you all the time” Diya looked at her  sister. “Why don't you fight back?” she asked confused. “I don't know” she collapsed on her knees. “I don't know” she crumpled like a piece of paper.

“Ragzee” Diya hugged her sister to console her. “Why can't I push him aside?” she sobbed looking at her sister hoping for an answer.

“Shhh” Diya caressed her hair and Ragini felt relaxed a bit.

'Because he is your Flynn Rider twin sister. You never wanted a Prince Charming. You always had a thing for bad guys. I wish you realized it earlier. I just wish' Diya spoke in her mind.

She knew Ragini was feeling for Sanskar. And she was struggling between her responsibility towards Karan and her feelings towards Sanskar. He sure was a jerk but he made Ragini have emotions she never possessed all her life. Things were only getting complicated with each passing second. And she knew Ragini was suffering to accept her feelings as she was already dating Karan and it would have broken him down completely.

About whose betterment should she think of now. If she clears Ragini's confusion Karan will be heart broken and if she forces Ragini not to hurt Karan then Ragini will be in a well of grief as she has to deny her feelings for Sanskar.

“Sanky.. Karan has come” his mother announced and Karan popped his head inside Sanskar's room. “Hey bro” Karan greeted Sanskar who moved from his thoughtful position and signed Karan to sit on the chair in front of him.

“I need to tell you something brother” Karan spoke. “Me too” Sanskar looked at his brother.

“Okay tell me” Karan spoke. “No you tell me first” Sanskar insisted. “You are elder to me. You say it” Karan spoke. “If we keep arguing we wont tell this at all” Sanskar nodded his head.

“I... actually... like this girl.. I mean we are dating” Karan began to speak. “I know” Sanskar said and Karan looked up shocked. “How did you know?” he asked. “I have my sources” he smirked and Karan blushed.

“And... I wanted to tell you the same thing... Like I was thinking when you brought your girlfriend to save me I better tell you about my girlfriend so that in such cases next time you can bring her instead and avoid the awkward situation of a fake girlfriend”

“You already know my girl. And wait... Oh my god. Big bro. You are dating a girl?” Karan asked surprised. “What so shocking in that?” Sanskar asked. “I can't believe this. You were never a type who will have relationship type” Karan nodded his head. “Then what changed?” asked Karan.

“She happened” he smiled widely. “She makes me want to have a life for myself. Crazy, fierce, cute, and the attitude I cannot handle” he chuckled remembering Ragini. He caressed his neck blushing.

“Ahhh. My girl is different. She is chirpy, fun, adorable and a mouth she can't control” Karan laughed remembering Diya.

“She confuses me at times” Karan spoke remembering Ragini. “Sometimes she behaves like your girl...” Karan stopped at once. “I mean.. the way you described your girl” he corrected himself. “Never the less” Sanskar smiled.

“I love her” they both spoke at a time. “So her name is....” Karan waited for Sanskar to speak. “You will be shocked” Sanskar grinned and Karan looked at him confused.
