Nandini cried seeing ifra dancing beautifully without any tension and worry... Her little mind did not notice what's going around her surrounding

Nandini ran in order to take ifra in her dear arms but before that.........

" Kachhhhh "

The sound of the breaking of mirror chandelier was heard by everyone present in the hall

Nandini fell on her knees as she heard the sound, she was flabbergasted... She did not even utter a single "uff" when mirror pieces pierced her knees

Her golden lehenga was slowly slowly turning into red as blood flowed out of nandini's injuries

She felt lifeless as she just kept staring at the broken pieces but she was not able to see her baby

Everyone in the surrounding palmed their mouth out of shock

Everybody knew if there's no ifra, there's no nandini too!

They knew nandini would herself end her life if ifra is taken away from her

Nandini like a dummy with widened teary eyes kept staring at the place where the mirror chandelier got broken and where her baby was dancing moments ago

As soon as manik's head rose he saw the mirror chandelier loosened and  about to fall on his baby

He saw nandini running towards her but picking up his pace, he strode towards the place and grabbed ifra in his protective arms as they rolled towards the side and the chandelier fell down on the flooring

Manik breathed a sigh of relief and looked at his baby's wobbled lips, he made her stand in his laps and started finding for any injuries

Manik's eyes were red as he was hell worried for his baby, he would cry any moment

He hugged ifra once again to his dear life and whispered caressing her hair
" Theek haina mera baccha , meri zindagi ko kahi lagi nahi na? "

Soon enough manik broke the hug and started examining her from top to bottom

He was going insane only with the thought that if he would'nt have grabbed her in his arms, the glass pieces would've entered his baby's head

Only the thought made him squeeze his eyes as tears started to flow out of them

Manik pecked ifra's face as he bit his lips and looked at his gorgeous baby standing before him as if nothing happened

" Dadda ki jaan, dadda loves you.. Dadda loves you so so much .
..."
He held ifra's wrist and kissed it thanking nandini's aiyappa, because she had no injury on her body

He cuddled her close to him, he was not ready to let go off her as again and again the same dreading thought crossed his mind

He looked at his left to see nandini sitting on her knees, like a lifeless stone with tears flowing out of her eyes....

She was in a trauma, she turned numb...she wanted nothing but her baby

Manik was emotionally flabbergasted when he saw nandini in the situation he'd never wish to see...

His lips tried to utter a few words, but failed miserably before he heard ifra's honey filled voice which consisted of only one word which is

" Mamma "

Manik ran as fast as he could with ifra in his arms to reach nandini, he knelt down before her and he knew the remedy to nandini's problem was only ifra

So he made ifra stand exactly before nandini but not on the floor as there were glass pieces , nandini's eyes which were filled
With tears blinked making a tear drop down on her lehenga

As soon as ifra's softy softy hands touched nandini's face, her head bounced as if she got a new life, her lips wobbled seeing her heart all fit and fine...

Her wobbly lips muttered

" Mamma ki jaan "

as soon as nandini realized that ifra was all fit and fine she immediately took her in arms pecking each and every part on her body

" Ifra jaan! Theek hona aap? Batao mamma ko? "

Nandini hypingly started examining ifra from top to bottom just like manik did

She again pecked ifra's face and whispered
" Kahi lagi nahi na meri jaan,.... Batao na mamma ko "

Everybody in the hall could see how crazy MaNan had gone with the recent incident

" Ifra baby, kuch nahi hua na? Aap theek hona? Mera rabbit theek haina?"

Nandini was a mess right now, with her kajal smudged and mascara rubbed and with tear stains on her cheeks

Manik knew he had to do something to calm nandini down so he cupped nandini's cheeks and said

" Jaan! But she kept shivering like a dried leaf jaan! Jaan! Shhh ! Shh! , Sab theek hain kuch nahi hua hamari zindagi ko.. She's fine.. She's completely fine "

He said pinning her hair strands behind her ear and rubbing her cheeks to calm her down

Nandini held ifra in her arms with her left arms almost burrying ifra into her while ifra too snuggled into her mamma's neck

Nandini held manik's collar tigtly in a fist , she pulled him towards her and asked crying cutely

" Kuch nahi hua na adora ko? Theek haina wo? Khoon nahi aa raha haina? Bolo na manik.... Aap kuch bolte kyu nahi manik, manik hamari beti theek haina? Kuch nhi hua na usse? "

She emotionally threw her head into his chest and hugged him tightly

" Hamari beti " used to always do wonders in manik's heart

Manik was caressing nandini's hair in order to calm her down when he felt some liquid wetting his knees

He looked down and was shocked to see glass pieces half inside and half outside nandini's skin

" Nandiniiiiii "

He shouted as loudly as possible making her flinch, it was next to unbearable for him to see her in this state

" Jaan kya haalat bana li hain tumne khudki "

His heart twisted as his eyes met with her golden lehenga turned red !

He bent down and picked nandini in his arms in bridal style with ifra in nandini's arms so it was like manik carried both of them

Manik stood up with IfNi in his arms as he looked at the surrounding to see the murthy's along with betty, ahana and aryaman rushing towards them

The ladies were in tears imagining what could've happen if manik wouldn't have grabbed ifra in his arms and also with nandini's injuries....

Cabir's eyes were glistened seeing the trio's condition, he left the others and stepped forward to reach MaNanRa also abhimanyu who was worried followed cabir

While for the others, mukti ,alya and dhruv looked unaffected and navya who was jumping up again and again to get a glimpse of IfNi as they were surrounded by the crowd...

Also navya, your presence wouldn't matter... So please!

Chachi ran towards MaNanRa as she was profusely sweating out of fear about nandini and ifra's safety

She stood in front of manik who had IfNi in his arms, he blinked his eyes before chachi to assure but chachi did not miss too notice manik's blood red eyes she knew he was fighting himself to not cry

She turned her gaze towards nandini, who didn't look in her real sense and also she was continously shivering....

Chachi observed how nandini had snuggled ifra into her with her right arm and how she had clasped manik's collar with the left one

Chachi stepped a little forward with tears still dripping out of her eyes, seeing her children in pain is unbearable for any mother... Same happened with chachi

She caressed nandini's hair who looked at her like a little baby , as fear of losing her baby was still evident on her face

Chachi saw the blood flowing out of nandini's knees as the golden colour turned red so that's the reason why she held ifra's waist gently to take ifra in her arms

Nandini's entire existence started shaking as chachi tried taking ifra in her arms, nandini pulled ifra back in her arms crying out loudly

" Nooo! She's my baby.. Mera baccha hain... Meri jaan sirf mere paas rahegi... She then looked at manik with the same innocent yet sacred face which melted manik immediately
Manik, aap kaho na... Ifra meri bacchi hain sirf... I can't lose her.. Manik main mar jaungi... "

Nandini blabbered whatever came in her mouth as she was not in her right senses

Manik pecked her forehead and replied politely

" Haan koi nahi le jaa raha hain ifra ko, main le jane bhi nahi dunga ..."

He smiled at her as he got one in return as soon as he completed his sentence

Nandini again made ifra to snuggle inside her and started talking to her without caring about her injury or about the world... Ifra too was very happy as they both started talking like best friends

Manik looked at chachi and squeezed his eyes emotionally before her, chachi smiled patting his back and gestured him to take her inside the room and get her treated while they'd wait here itself

Ahana and Betty had now been a crying mess as they saw nandini's state, they knew ifra was nandini murthy's life!

Aryaman too felt bad for his bestfriends condition, but somewhere in the corner of his heart he surely knew manik would handle nandini

Mr malhotra too were very tensed about his grand daughter and nandini, he wanted them fine as soon as possible.... He knew ifni are manik's reason of survival

Amms blood pressure was increased due to the recent happenings, she was crying since the time the chandelier broke into pieces so rishab and chacha forcefully took her with them to get her treated inspite of her recurring protests

Navya's face held a sad expression for IfNi but she knew nandini won't even consider her existence, so changing her mind of going to nandini she stayed back and watch them go into the room

Cabir stepped forward and patted manik's back, only to see manik's red eyes as he breathed a sigh seeing cabir

" I'll call the doctor "

Said cabir, taking his phone out and dialing doctors number

" Asap! "
Manik with his all the time manik malhotra attitude said the last word and left the space as he walked towards grand hyatt's inn

Alia looked unaffected, she just changed her weight from one heel to another enjoying the emotional show going on before her

Abhimanyu was genuinely very worried for nandini but he knew his worry won't be given a penny because he already left a bad image inside nandini's mind

Mukti rolled her toungue inside her mouth as she caressed her nape getting bored of seeing people cry before her

Here comes dhruv, he was seen clasping and unclasping his palms again and again, his forehead was filled with sweat drops he took out his handkerchief and wiped face worriedly but some one clearly observed his reaction before walking in to the room...

" Phirrrr se! Phirrr se ! Bach gayi wo manik aur nandini ki beti... Ek uski maa thi jo usko kuch hone nahi deti aur ab manik uska baap hero banke apni beti ko bacha liya... "

She threw the glass of scotch in her hand on the floor and observed them getting broken into pieces

" Main nyonika hu, nyonika kabhi haar nahi sakti... Neverrrrr! Main nahi chodungi inko... Kabhi nahi... Mujhse sab kuch chinkar wo manik malhotra sukoon se nahi jee sakta.... Main barbaad kar dungi usse "

Nyonika stepped on the glass pieces with her pointed heels making them crush beneath it....

Her face held rage, pure rage as her plan got flopped but it's MaNan's child you can do no harm to her nyonika!

Manik entered inside the luxury suit with ifni still in his arms, as he continued to walk near the bed more drops of blood fell on the carpet, floor, bed, also manik's kurta turned red

He made nandini lay on the bed gently as he saw his beauties snuggling into each other

What shocked him more was nandini's calmness towards her injury, every normal being would've woken up the entire building by now with their screams but nandini she was silent as if she did not feel the pain , her pain flew away the second manik handed ifra in her arms

" Jaano, kahi nahi lagi na? Thodi si bhi nahi na? Mamma ka rabit bilkul theek haina? "

A mother after all, who only cared about her baby's well being

Manik on the other hand knew he'll have to treat the wounds herself, he can't wait till the doctor comes because the blood flow just kept increasing

He held nandini's lehenga and tried taking it up as he had to see the area near her knees, her milky white legs had traces of blood and this pierced his heart

If manik wasn't able to handle her blood traces ,how will he actually see her injury? 😭

Nandini knew manik would want to treat her injury, but as he was moving her lehenga up she kept her right hand over it

" Tum nahi dekh paoge, aur ifra dar jayegi "

She said bending her face downwards and facing him

" Nandini hum chot ko aise nahi chod sakte, blood flow badh raha hain... Let me treat it please.... "

His eyes were speaking louder than his words, a glimpse of his eyes and Nandini knew he was in pain seeing her in pain

" Manik! Ifra bacchi hain.. She'll not be able to handle blood... "

He knew she was right, of course their baby was small she would surely get scared seeing her mamma's blood

" Jaan, tumhara bohot khoon beh chuka hain... Kyu karti ho tum aisa? "

He rubbed his palms together out of worry he was in dilemma right now

" Accha mujhe upar se blanlet se cover kardo, I'll take ifra inside it and feed her.. Then you treat my injury and even ifra will sleep... "

Said nandini with a smile on her face, trying to lighten his worries but manik's eye brows were cringed as he still was worried

He covered upper part with the blanket and kissed ifra's forehead mummering

" sleep jaan, dadda's here "

Ifra smiled and placed a juicy kiss on his cheeks making him smile for the first time after the entire horrifying incident

Babies can bring smile on anybody's face right?

" Adora, aa jao mamma aapko feedy karadein.. Phir aap ninno karna theek hain... Aaj bohot tired kar liya aapne apne aapko jaan "

Nandini explained ifra caressing her hair and pecking her pout

After what happened today, ifra was a bit scared and even MaNan knew about it and also ifra did not want to trouble her Mamma so like a good baby she is , she agreed to her mamma and also she was hungry and what would be better than her mamma's feedy?

Nandini took ifra under the blanket and made her sleep on her left arm, unhooking her hooks from the right arm she pulled her bra a little down and taking her nipples in between her index finger and thumb she attached it to ifra's lips

Manik did not even get a glimpse of what happened under the blanket and also being the gentle man he is he left to get the first aid and let nandini have her privacy

" Ek baat batau arya? "
Aryaman since last few minutes
Was trying to calm ahana down who continued to cry again

" Haan ahana, pehle rona band karo "

He took his handkerchief out of his pocket wiped her tears gently taking her face inside his neck to soothe her

" Mu...muj....mujhe...lagta "

She continued to cry as nandini's blood covered lehenga and the thought of ifra getting hit by the chandelier came into her mind

" Rona band karo ahaana, manik haina ab unke saath.. They'll be fine.. "

He caressed her head and pecked her lips as a gesture for her to stop crying

She like a baby wiped her tears with the back of her palm and her expressions changed into an angry one from a sad one.

Her expression changed because she saw navya, mukti, alya , dhruv and abhimanyu having food.... Abhimanyu had to go coz mukti pulled him

" Mujhe lagta hain, inlogo ne hi... Kuch plan kiya hoga... Arya they are still behind nandini.. They want to snatch her happiness..aur unko pata hain manik bhai aur nandini ki weekness ifra hain... Inlogo ne hi kiya hoga ye arya.... "

She shouted on top of her voice as she saw them happily having their food

" Maine inka muh tod dena hain meri jutti se... Ye wali jutti se "

She pointed at the footwear she was wearing

Ahana breathed heavily as she really wanted her best friend to live like a normal girl and enjoy eveything... She also wanted to protect ifra and nandini from all the dangers just like a loyal friend would do

Even aryaman was aware of this, he knew how selfish this people have turned they would do anything and everything to destroy nandini

He rubbed her back and said

" I know i know, shhhh! We'll find out... Jisne bhi kiya hain usko saza milegi ...."

Ahaaan started breathing normally again after getting assured by aryaman

But again her eyes caught their sight, where they stood unaffected with plates in their hands as they laughed seems like they were having a conversation

She pressed her lips tightly trying to control her anger as much as possible, getting enough of it she got out of aryaman's hug and said

" Main aati hu, inka khana hazam karwake...aaj meri jutti aur inka sir hoga "

She was about to march towards them angrily but before that aryaman caught her by her elbow and said

" Abhi nahi, Let's first find the culprit first , she gave him a glare as she just now told him that according to her the culprit is them yes! Yes! We know who is the culprit okay? Lekin proofs dhundne honge na? Ek baar wo mil jaye phir tum unko mat chodna.. Theek hain? I'll not stop you "

She nodded her head positively and again hugged him who smiled at his wife's babyness......

Navya, mukti, alya ,dhruv, abhimanyu and ahaan were having their food , when all of a sudden cabir joined them with his angry face after he showed the doctor MaNan's room

" Mukti, mere saath chal tu "

He clasped her hands as he tried to pull her along with him

" Arey! Kya kar raha hain cabir, khana toh khane de "

Said mukti still chewing her food

" Tumlogo ko khane ki padi hain waha itna bada haadsa hote hote reh gaya, by god's grace ifra theek hain... Nandini ki haalat dekhi thi? Manik ki? They were so scared.. Agar wo chandelier ifra par gir jata toh? Nandini ka pair injured hain.. Uske pair se khoon nikal raha hain... Manik behaal ho rakha hain but all y'all care about is food.... "

Cabir shouted on top of his voice,which surely scared them.. Navya immediately kept her plate on the table and wiped her hands with the tissue paper

" Cabir, tu aise kyu react kar raha hain? Aur tu uss nandini aur ifra ke liye humpe kyu chilla raha hain? Hum kya kare? Kuch hua kya? Nahi na? Toh phir ? Bas khana hi toh kha rahe hain kisika murder toh nahi kiya na "

Mukti bursted out placing her plate on the table and gulping a sip of water

Cabir tried hard, very hard to control his anger but after mukti's response he lost it completely

" Murder kiya nahi, kar bhi sakte ho... I doubt ki kahi chandelier girne ke peeche tumme se toh kisika haath nahi hain? Jab tu mere bete ko ifra aur nandini ke khilaaf bhadka sakti hain toh tu ye karne me bhi katrayengi nahi... Haina mukti? "

Mukti looked flabbergasted as cabir kept speaking, she wanted to run away as she was caught but cabir's assumptions of she being the reason behind chandelier breaking wasn't acceptable by her... That's the reason why she looked more shocked

" Tujhe lagta hain main itna gir jaungi? Main kyu chandelier giaraungi? Aur ye tu kya bole ja raha hain? Maine ahaan ko nahi bhadkaya hain... Hua kya hain koi mujhe kuch batayega? "

Mukti tried to act innocent before she nodded her head in a no hidingly as ahaan was staring at her only

" Mukti zyada innocent bann'ne ki koshish mat kar.. Tujhe bhi pata hain main kis baarein me baat kar raha hu... Tune hi bhadkaya ahaan ko aur tabhi usne jake nandini se bura kaha.. Kyuki usse wo sab tune sikhaya tha....tu waha peeche khade sun bhi rahi thi sab "

He shouted banging his hand on the wooden table as her lies were irritating him to next level

Mukti stood there with her mouth wide open as cabir found out everything , she knew cabir would never forgive for wrong influencing ahaan but a thought crossed her mind

" Kaise pata chala main peeche khadi thi? Waha toh koi tha bhi nahi "

She thought as she bought the scene in her mind

Before she could think further and stress her useless brain ,navya gave the answer to her questions

" Nandini ne tumhe waha dekh liya tha "

Said navya and fidgeted with her own fingers

" Aur mukti tu jo ye keh rahi haina ki tu itna neeche nahi gir sakti toh let me remind you.. Teri wajah se hi ifra pehle bhi hurt hui aur uske liye tu jail ki saza bhi kaat ke aayi hain "

Said cabir pointing out his index finger before her

" Tab mujhe nahi pata tha ki jisko mera bag laga wo manik ki beti thi "

Mukti cried looking at abhimanyu to find some rescue

" Manik ki beti nahi toh kisi ki toh bacchi thi... Tune kaise ek bacchi ko maara? Tu neeche gir sakti hain mukti... "

He said glaring at her who averted her eyes not being able to bear his anger

" Tu sirf mujhe itna bata, tune mere bete ke kaan bhare hain ya nahi , mujhe tere muh se sunna hain "

Cabir asked once again

Mukti wanted to save herself from being caught so she lied as she nodded her head negatively

" Theek hain, Main ahaan se hi puch leta hu "

He knelt down before ahaan, as he cupped his cheeks.

Mukti was scared , she again nodded negatively before ahaan as a gesture for him to answer no

" Ahaan! Baby! Aapne mukti bua ke kehne pe ye sab kiya na?"

Cabir asked politely cause he did not wanted to scare ahaan

Ahaan looked at mukti and kept mum

" Ahaan dad aapse kuch puch rahe haina "

Cabir said rubbing his hands over ahaan's palms

Ahaan being a kid and also because he can't hide anything from his dad answered positively

" Yes "

And that was it, cabir stood up witn an angry smile while the others gasped

" Tu apni nafrat ke liye mere bete ko bhadka rahi haim.. Ye hai tera standard... Tu isse bhi zyada neeche gir sakti hain... Cabir then looked at ahaan and muttered dad is very angry at you , for the first time i think i failed as a father "

Saying so he left out of the space leaving them behind while ahaan rushed behind his dad to apologize

Nandini was calmly laying on the bed with ifra attached to her buds, having her feed hidingly inside the blanket while nandini continued to caress her hair

The female doctor, who was called by cabir was inspecting nandini's injuries while manik restlessly took rounds of the room

Nandini could see how helpless manik felt at the moment, she knew if possible he would've turned the world upside down to rub off nandini's pain

The doctor too looked shocked as she used her medical instruments and pulled the half in half out pieces of glass out of nandini's knee area but she did not even earn an uff from nandini's side

Every time the doctor used to pull out the glass pieces, manik used to squeeze his eyes as he could not see her in pain, even though  she acted as if it was a cup of tea for her

The doctor pulled out the last piece of glass from nandini's knees, which made manik to cover his face with his hands.... He continued to roam around the room but his heart felt heavy.. He did not have the guts to face Nandini....

His betrayal made her like a stone who doesn't feel any type of pain... Was it good or was it bad? He thought

He walked towards nandini and hurriedly took her in a hug, he knew only she, her presence and their closness can lessen his pain and guilt

He cried in her neck like a baby while nandini's body stiffened at their closness, as she felt his warm face with stubble in her neck after 4 long years...

She felt his beard pricking her soft neck after 4 long years, she felt his warm tears in her neck after 4 long years, she heard his sobs closely after 4 long years....

She felt him breathing in her neck after 4 long years, his warm husky breaths made all the hair on her body stand giving her goosebumps .....She felt his silky smooth hair touching the length of her neck after 4 long years

She had her arms around his broadened shoulders after 4 long years, he held her nape as he continued to cry after 4 long years

Their breaths went in a rhythm after 4 long years, she felt his lips wobbling and touching her collarbone after 4 long years

" I am so sorry "

She heard him apologize huskily

She thought he apologized for the incident which took place some moments before in the main hall

" Manik jo bhi hua usme tumhari ......"

She was about to continue but what manik spoke further caught her breathe

" I'm sorry for betraying you! I'm sorry for asking you to leave! I'm sorry for everything "

He held nandini's back more tightly as he ended his statement

Nandini took in a long breath this time as their closnesses was creating a havoc inside her,just like it created inside manik's and also cause manik's emotional apology striked a pang in her heart

She closed her eyes shut when she heard

" KAB TAK? KAB TAK ,DUR REHNA HOGA HUME EK DUSRE SE? "

She felt more goosebumps covering her body, manik's statement gave her chills also ifra's sucking on her nipple wasn't helping.

She stared in his captivating eyes, while he held a number of emotions which would be enough to melt any girl's insides

Nandini was lost, completely lost while manik let himself get lost in her beauty too...

Untill the doctors cough disturbed them, immediately their gaze turned towards the doctor as their ears heard her speak

" Dono knee ke side wale area pe gehre cuts lage hain, stitches lagane honge.... Parso tak stitches nikal sakte hain agar jhakam sukh jata hain... "

The doctor spoke as she explained pointing at nandini's injuries

Manik paid attention to the doctor speaking more than he would've ever paid attention to any of his business meetings

While nandini was busy staring at manik, who was completely unaware of nandini's gaze on him

As soon as the doctor completed her sentence, manik stood up on his feets and said getting a bit hyped

" Whattt? Stiches? Like seriously? Nandini ko kuch hoga toh nahi na? She'll be fine right? "

Even the doctor smiled seeing manik's care for nandini, she too stood up and started speaking

" Mr malhotra, please calm down... I assure nandini mam will be completely fine "

Manik looked at nandini to get her opinion too but she uninterestedly just nodded at him as a gesture to let the doctor do whatever she wants

Getting their positive responses the doctor too got back to her work , as she wore her gloves and took out the necessary things

Manik again walked back and sat beside nandini, anybody who looks at his face would say he was terribly tensed to no limit

He looked at the quilt which moved up and down as a sign of his baby's breathes

He looked at nandini, and already being worried.. He asked a very stupid question pointing out at ifra

" Kya kar rahi hain ifra andar? She's fine na? So gayi? "

He asked still looking quilt falling and rising

Manik's first sentence made nandini chuckle like a baby, she nodded her head in disbelief looking at manik and said sniggering

" Wo andar wahi kar rahi hain jo usse karna chahiye and no she's not sleeping ...She was actually very hungry after dancing "

Said nandini once again going inside the blanket, to see her baby filling her stomach... She lovingly caressed her mole

Manik looked at the wall, squeezing his eyes for asking a stupid question but he soon turned back as the doctor was ready to do the stitches

He looked at nandini and hesitantly held her palms as he caressed the upper part with his thumb murmuring

" Dekho! Don't be tensed okay? main yahi hu, bas thoda sa dhukega but then eveything will be completely fine... Kuch nhi hoga ,haa? "

It was like he was assuring himself more than her
